Less than a mile from the beach! This property has been completely renovated within the last year and is absolutely gorgeous. Summer 2019 weeks and weekends now booking! Please call or email to get in the schedule.

This house has been recently updated and renovated within the last year. The house sits on a secluded side street in the town of Rye less than a mile from the beach. Relax inside by the hearth or custom kitchen, or you can sit outside on the mahogany deck overlooking the private back yard. The home features one large master bedroom with a king bed and oversized custom bath. Additionally there is a bunk room and an entertainment room with a large screen smart tv, nintendo wii, and a large couch. The house is ideally situated just minutes from the pristine beaches of Rye and a just a 10 minute drive to Portsmouth. The home is great for family seacoast getaways or for small to medium sized groups.

Wonderful Stay in Beautiful Home
My family and I enjoyed staying in this home for a week as ventured out on many adventures, visiting light houses, eting wonderful seafood and enjoying the Atlantic's beaches. Nice location near the beach. Wonderfully maintained home and well supplied with everything we required. it was clear the previous vacationers had left some food and beverages and we returned the favor for the next visitors. Great place to stay.

Fantastic beach stay
Ernie’s house was perfect for six of us to enjoy a great beach week. It’s really an upscale property with a generous master bedroom and en suite bath, a comfortable lay out through the kitchen and living room and a large back deck perfect for summer nights if you want to BBQ or take the local seafood back to the house. Ernie was a great host and we’ll definitely rent again given the opportunity.

Perfect in so many ways!
This is a wonderful property. The setting is bucolic with the house nestled in a large private lot bordered by trees . Both the front and back yards provide plenty of space for lawn games. A large deck is perfect for dinners under the stars and a roofed porch allows you to be outside during summer rainstorms. The house is IMMACULATE with a dream kitchen, huge primary bedroom with ensuite spa bathroom. There are even two family rooms. The property is well-stocked, with plenty of towels, linens, beach towels, and beach chairs. I didn’t need to buy a single spice, cooking essential, or cleaning product. There is even a clothes steamer! Ernie is an incredibly attentive & thoughtful host. When our arrival flight was significantly delayed, he went to the house to turn on all the lights for our late arrival. He responded immediately to any questions. When we were unable to return home to Naples, FL due to Hurricane Ian, Ernie kindly & generously allowed us to extend our stay, even though it inconvenienced him personally. Ernie has created a lovely ‘home away from home’ and is an extraordinary host.

Nice vacation in Rye
The property was very nice, and we appreciated the renovations. It was a bit of a walk to the beach, about 15-20 minutes. There is some street parking available, just be careful of the signs. You can also pay to park at Wallis Sands Beach lot. The beach itself was beautiful. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The house did get pretty hot at night. There was a portable air conditioner in one room, and fans. But in 90 degree temps, it could only do so much. Would love a coffee maker in the house - there is a Keurig, but no coffee pot. Also a clothes line to hang up wet bathing suits and towels would be appreciated. Owner was very responsive when I reached out with questions. Plenty of towels and sheets for the week. We had a great time!

Rye Home Will Not Disappoint!
I can only echo what others have said before me: this home is so much more than the listing conveys…..a rare and welcome surprise! The congenial host had anticipated our every need and thoughtfully supplied so many extra touches: the well equipped pantry and kitchen, the quality of all the furnishings and linens, and a large cache of beach supplies, to name a few. The lawn and back patio are wonderful places to relax and take in a meal of the local seafood or enjoy an early morning as the world wakes up. And it is all so very, very clean and well looked after. The beach is a mere 4 minute ride, and this home’s central location makes it ideal for daily excursions to all the sights the area has to offer. I could have stayed all summer!

Wonderful house in great location
Very comfortable, well-appointed house in easy walking distance of Wallis Sands beach and easy drive to the delights of Portsmouth. Five of us had room to spread out, take walks, cook family meals, and spend time at the beach. And our traditional dinner out at Petey;s seafood restaurant did not disappoint.

Charming cottage near our favorite NH beach!
This is a charming, immaculate, and well-provisioned home! Our host has thought of everything to make his guests' stay welcome and comfortable. We felt at home immediately! The home's floor plan is open and contemporary with comfortable seating throughout. We found our stay delightful and enjoyed meeting our host. If there would be any improvements to be made, we might suggest a booster for the home's wiFi and the stove burners should be adjusted for even lighting. Other than that Fantastic!!! Thank you, very much for making our return to Rye and happy and memorable one!

Our hosts were so accommodating and nice during our stay. The place was IMMACULATE. WiFi worked great for anyone who needed to call in to meetings and get some work done. Large and comfy movie room. Mario Kart was an added bonus and we had a lot of fun playing again! Gorgeous main bathroom. The second bedroom is a bit better for kids, - two twin beds, - but worked out just fine for us. Mattresses seemed really firm at first, but ended up being a super comfy sleep! We will definitely look into staying again if we can!

Wonderful spacious house
We really enjoyed our two week stayed at this property. The house was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked which made cooking very easy. The deck was amazing and the yard was great for our children to play in. The location was great, about 5 minutes to beach and 15 minutes from Portsmouth. The owner was quick to respond to all of our questions. We would definitely stay there again!

Super immaculate gorgeous home nestled in the woods about a mile from the beach. Beautiful state of the art appliances but air conditioning in master bedroom only. Our teen grandchildren enjoyed the Nintendo switch game system.

,Spacious and well-appointed house with comfortable sleeping arrangements. Fantastic media room, beautiful deck for meals and relaxing. Great kitchen, well stocked pantry. Walk or short drive to Wallis Sands beach (our favorite). Nearby restaurants and shops. We took a Portsmouth Harbor cruise one overcast day (great experience) and then enjoyed walking around that city.

Great house near beach!
We really enjoyed our stay! Property is a short walk to the beach which allowed us to have frequent strolls to the beach and to lunch at Petey’s for lobster rolls. We explored Portsmouth, Exeter and Dover with ease. Owner gave us great dining recommendations!

Clean and newly renovated
Our family of four had a great vacation stay at this home. The furniture, appliances and rooms were all clean and like new. Everything was stocked well and there was plenty of room inside and out. It was close to the beach but had a quiet, private yard. We would definitely rent this property again.
