**This unit is owner-managed and professionally cleaned. We pride ourselves on keeping our units clean and providing our guests with a safe/healthy environment. We want all of our guests to enjoy the Island and have a wonderful stay!**
This unit is close to the beach and offers great fishing from the back deck! Wonderful location and outdoor space. Private courtyard entry, over 1200 sq. ft., 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. There is a boat dock for you to bring your boat. Ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families, big groups, and fur friends (pets). We do require a non-refundable pet fee of $100 per pet and only 2 pets per unit. Primary guest MUST be at least 25 yrs old.

Wonderful place to stay in Padre

The unit was very clean. The beds were really comfortable. Amazing location to shopping and restaurants. Great fishing off the deck. Awesome manager that answers all of your questions and deals with any issues promptly. Will definitely be going back there to stay.

Out of busy season pleasant stay.

The outdoor set is rusted with sharp pieces. The deck needs TLC The plumbing in the master bathroom also needs attention. The nextdoor neighbor has a very squeaky door that will wake you up every morning. A part from that the house was clean and we had a pleasant stay.

Wonderful place for the family to stay, Keith was great to deal with and extremely responsive for any questions or concerns. Great fishing off of the back deck. 2 minutes to the beach and to the Island Market. Just a wonderful place.

You've never experienced a getaway so perfect!

I don't know where you come from, but the perfection of letting go of everything you hold on to is possible here. If you're an experienced angler, get ready for all the bites you could hope for in the lovely canal docks. If you're ready to settle down tuck yourself into the many spacious and comfortable, intimate getaways stored in this most inviting space. Minutes from some of the most beautiful beachcapes you could wish for. Absolutely inviting for large pets. Home away from home indeed. At the end of your journey, you'll want to make an offer to make this your permanent home! Gorgeous and wonderful for the whole family!

Excellent place to stay!

This truly is the best place to stay. Super easy check in process and you are welcomed with sweet handwritten notes and a basket of snacks for the whole family and a couple bottles of wine for the adults. Nice, clean condo with a very relaxing view. They even provide little extras like shampoo, conditioner and body wash in case you forget yours. They had beach chairs and toys available for our use at the beach which was great since I forgot the kids beach toys. Condo is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Will definitely stay here again.

The Perfect Stay

This was the first time using VRBO and the experience was right on. The place was Amazing and we were just minutes away from the beach. If you needed anything or had questions Mr. Keith was ready to fix or answer your question's. The warm welcome notes on the counter top to the dog treats and wines were a nice compliment as well. The only minor issue we had were our (units A & B) trash cans were already half full at check in and by the time check out came was overfilled. They failed to mention the Sandy & Don Billish Park that was near by that had a half mile hike and bike trail with some exercise stages around it, playscapes for the kids, beach volleyball court. If you needed to go to the grocery store or shopping the stores were conveniently close by. I will definitely rent this place again and recommend this to my friends and family. Thank you Mr. Keith & VRBO for a wonderful vacation.

Everyone had a wonderful time. Having our boat right outside the door made life so easy. Communication with Keith and Melissa was quick. This is probably one of the best experiences we’ve had renting a vacation home!

This home was a joy. It was well stocked with all the immediate necessities. There were extra snacks for grandchildren and my pet. Absolutely perfect!

We were so happy that we chose this house for our vacation! Keith and Melissa went above and beyond to make it vacation ready, and we were greeted by thoughtful baskets of snacks and kind handwritten notes. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The water view off the deck was so relaxing, and was a perfect area to have drinks in the evening and coffee in the morning while watching the pelicans. Located in a nice neighborhood near a well-kept park, we enjoyed daily walks before heading to the beaches, Texas State Aquarium, art museum, local restaurants, or state/national parks. Keith and Melissa live nearby, answer questions in a flash, and offered to bring anything we needed. The house was very well-stocked. I highly recommend shopping for groceries and supplies at the HEB+ on Waldron Drive over the Causeway, picking up fresh seafood at Paul's Seafood Market, and visiting the state Aquarium. We spent several days enjoying various beaches with our dog...our regular traveling companion. You won't be sorry if you choose this beautiful rental for your vacation time.

Sehr schönes Haus an einem Kanal gelegen. Alles vor Ort, was man braucht. Guter Kontakt zu den Vermietern. Man hat uns sogar Stühle und Boogy Boards für den Strand bereit gestellt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Exactly what we wanted

We go to the Texas coast for a week at least twice a year and always rent a house. Our boys are 8 and 6 so being right on the water is essential. Keith is very nice and his townhome is even nicer if that is possible. Everything is fresh, new and spotless. Only a couple of mile drive to the beach and there's lots of restaurants and things to do without going 7 miles back across the causeway to Corpus Christi. We absolutely loved staying here and will definitely come back. Thanks Keith!

Great family get away location, I highly recommend staying here.

Keith and Melissa have created the ultimate beach get away. The house is very cozy and wonderfully decorated. Having three bedrooms and two full bathrooms worked perfectly for our group. My wife and I took the master bedroom upstairs and our two daughters shared the other upstairs bedroom. My brother had the downstairs bedroom. Everyone loved their comfortable beds. The kitchen worked well for us as we typically had two meals a day at the house. This was a great cost savings for us. The large deck overlooking the canal was a welcome sanctuary for early morning coffee or later in the evening adult beverages. There are plenty of great restaurants and fun shops close by. The closest beach is a short 5 minute car ride. However, I would recommend driving a little further and visiting the National seashore. It is beautiful and you can park your vehicle right on the beach. When we come back to the area I will definitely contact Keith and Melissa to stay here again.

Wonderful place for a family vacation!

The condo was clean and fresh and decorated so cute - perfect for a beach vacation. The owner was very responsive and brought us some needed items very quickly. We enjoyed being on the water and it was conveniently located near the beach and shopping. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Beach Vacation

My family and I stayed here over spring break and had a great time. The house sits right on the water and the fishing from the private deck was great. A five minute drive from the house and we were at the beach and Bob Hall Pier. Keith really puts a lot of thought and care into making his guests feel at home. Thank you!

Clean, well appointed condo

Salt Cay A is one of four units positioned under one roof. Although it appeared that only units A and B were for rent. Salt Cay A is pleasantly decorated and clean. There were many welcoming features for us and our fur baby. The fishing was fun off the deck and a private courtyard offers an alternative sitting area. There’s easy access to area attractions without being in a high traffic area. The owners were pleasant and easy to work with. I would stay at this property again if in the area.

This was such a great place to stay! Very clean, great view, great fishing, very accomodating owners

I don't usually write reviews, but if you're thinking of renting this property I would definitely do it! We had all ages there from 4-75 and everyone really enjoyed it! The owners were very accommodating and friendly and even left us a little goodie basket of snacks to welcome us. Everything we needed was there and provided. My grandson caught 50 piggy perch off the dock (yes he counted)! We wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

This home is close to everything. Bring your boat, park it right outside for easy access to the Laguna Madre. There are great golf courses, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, canoeing, jet skiing, parasailing. Many great places for bird watching, horseback riding, or just walking on the over 70 miles of beach at the National Seashore. You may want to take the JFK Causeway into Corpus Christi just 5 miles away, you could take a tour of the USS Lexington, or stop by the Texas State Aquarium. Maybe a ball game at Whataburger field, night life under the Harbor bridge or just walking down Ocean Drive. There is something for everyone in the family no matter the age. Come stay at our house for fun and relaxation. We would love to have you here!
