About the host
Hosted by Kevin Ritchie

Grew up in a small town outside Pittsburgh (see VRBO listing, Ritchson House).
Moved to NYC from there...
Astoria is great neighborhood, and my apartment is amazing. :-)
However, I love to travel, and with the world of remote work, I can spend more time elsewhere.
After becoming a Host (of the Ritchson House), I realized that sharing my space/hosting is a part of who I am.
Therefore, I am now offering the Ritchson Loft. It's my home, its my office, and its my little... treehouse in the city.
I hope you enjoy your stay.

Why they chose this property
The Cultural Diversity.
Astoria is the most diverse community in the USA. Therefore, you can hear (or overhear) any and every language spoken in the world and enjoy the cuisine, and culture of that country as well.
In spite of its international flavor, English is the language that bonds us all, and is spoken universally, so communication is never an issue.
