We purchased this home and renovated it because we wanted a special retreat for our family. A place where we can always come together to laugh, catch up and leave the stress of the world behind. We like being active and the property provides plent of room to play, roam or just relax. It makes us happy knowing that other families or groups can experience this magical place.
Why they chose this property
You literally leave the world behind far below when you are on top of our private mountain. The views are stunning. The setting is tranquil. We've lived amongst foxes, bucks, turkeys, gophers, badgers and countless birds. There are many hiking trails, golf courses, wineries and restaurants to enjoy in the area. It's amazing that an escaple like this exists only an hour north of NYC,
What makes this property unique
There is nothing like this property. It overlooks the Hudson River and the majestic valley below. The full wall of windows lets in mother nature like nothing else. The hiking trails with gazebos, viewing platforms and firepits are movie magic. Our friends and family tell us it's their favorite place to gather.
