Pitkin Creek Condo

This is typical of the Pitkin condos. They aren’t the newest or most stylish but they are sufficient for crashing after a hard day of skiing. Check in was fine. Condo was clean. Bathrooms were decent sized for this layout. Fireplace worked well and enjoyed a nice fire each evening. Would stay here again.

Terrible check-in procedure

The check was simply awful we had to download pictures of our IDs and our covid vaccine cards we could not get them to go through on the VRBO app so then I asked for an email address and she sent an email address and we sent pictures of our drivers license and passports two on the dress that turned out to be wrong so now someone has all the information they need for identity theft then he would not Palace the code to get into the apartment until exactly 4 p.m. the day we were checking in and I was scared to travel all the way across the country without knowing I would be able to get into the condo we got to the condo at 3:30 and so we sat there for 30 minutes because I knew better than to ask for the code early at 4 I realize there was no cell phone signal at the condo so we had to drive back into the ski area I didn't message her on the VRBO app and texted her and call her cell phone by 5 I decided the whole thing must be a scam so I had my wife call and get us a hotel in Dillon which we checked into then at about 6 she finally texted the codes of course I had already spent $300 on another hotel by that point on the bright side the snow was good and the buses do run on time so we did not have trouble getting to the slopes the heat is very unusual in the condo as it is baseboard heat that is adjusted in each room and there is no temperature setting so you just have to adjust it up and down which was only a problem on the first night as I kept waking up too hot or too cold until I finally got our temperature right in the bedroom then on Wednesday she texted me to know if there was anything I needed before check out tomorrow but we were not supposed to check out till Friday so I panicked and had to go look at my reservation and make sure I had not accidentally booked it for Too Short a time I had not she was just wrong on the dates overall despite my bad review the condo is reasonable the snow was good the buses were good but if you are going to use this condo I would highly suggest that you absolutely insist on getting the code to get into the condo before you go especially since there is no cell phone coverage at the condo there is Wi-Fi coverage but until you check in you can't get the Wi-Fi there are also sticky notes around the condo with all the things you can be fined for which include scratching a dish losing a key losing a key to the hot tub or losing a parking permit each of those will cost you $300

Unit not clean, property manager impossible reach

The unit was not very clean when we arrived, I have pictures to prove it, underwear in the drawers , washing machine full, and hairs and a lot of dust in sofas and whever you would move the furniture. I cleaned it and the manager offer a reimbursement which didn't happen and she totally is ignoring my messages ever since. The unit is old, packed with things all over. The location is good.

Nice place, great location

Great location and we enjoyed our stay. The condo was comfortable and felt like Home. Communication from the landlord could have been better, as we waited long times for responses to questions.

home away from home

This is my third stay with Nina for a ski vacation. The Pitkin Creek condo is cozy and feels like home. It's nice having Sims market right there for groceries and supplies. I enjoyed the hot tub which is only steps away from the condo- as is the free TOV bus. Breakfast yogurt was supplied as well as other goodies. When I left, Nina packed me a travel lunch! I am missing Nina and her doggie companions, Inca and Micah.

Excellent Spot

Conveniently located near the East Vail bus stop and Sim's Market for groceries and liquor. Also has the hot tub right outside of the unit. The condo was clean and had plenty of cooking-ware, towels, etc to accommodate our 5 guests.

Beautiful, Comfortable Condo in Best Location

We stayed at this unit for 5 days, and could not have been happier. Comfortable beds, furniture, spacious but compact unit, with all the little luxuries of a 5-star hotel (except the concierge and the long check in lines). Convenient to the free TOV shuttle and the ski slopes, but quiet and relaxing getaway from the bustle of town. Love the high-alpine setting surrounded by the mountains and pine trees. Love the outdoor jacuzzi just steps from the condo. Very convenient having a grocery and liquor store on-site. We will keep this unit at the top of our list for our next trip to Vail. Very responsive host, easy to work with. Highly recommend this Property!

Great experience

Stayed for extended vacation short walk to bus to Vail. Only 10 minute ride on bus to Vail ski resort. Having a grocery and liquor store on-site nice option. Condo was in quiet complex with a hot tub and summer pool access. Fully furnished, extremely comfortable with 4-5 star hotel quality mattresses. Bring your skis or board - everything else is provided at condo. Cell coverage in complex not very reliable, as a result there is a landline provided. Owner responded to any questions or concerns almost immediately. Surpassed all expectations - great experience. Thank you will definitely return to Vail valley.

Beautiful Mountain retreat

This condominium is very well appointed and has a great location. Cozy down comforters, luxury linens, great fireplace and comfortable furniture. The beds were the most comfortable we've slept in while traveling. The kitchen is well-stocked like home, so we enjoyed making meals at the condo--saved a ton over eating out. There is a grocery store and liquor store on the property, and the free Town of Vail shuttle stops a few steps away (just 10 minutes to town), which adds a huge amount to the convenience factor. We highly recommend this unit if you are coming to Vail.

Great condo, excellent for families or small groups.

My wife and I recently stayed at this condo with another couple for a long weekend and it was exactly what we were looking for. This property is perfect for a family of 4-6 or two couples. It was clean, well kept, and most importantly a quick shuttle ride to the lifts. I would absolutely recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in Vail without the high costs of renting in the village. My wife and I will definitely be renting here again in the future.

Charming condo within striking distance of Vail

My brother and I stayed for five nights in this well designed condo. If you don't want to stay right in Vail, this is within easy reach on the East Vail bus route. Grocery and liquor stores are within walking distance, as are the luxurious hot tub and pool. The owner, Nina, is very helpful, and quickly responded when we couldn't figure out the wifi.
