Escape to 62 private acres of Big Sky wilderness at this one-of-a-kind mountaintop retreat, just 10 minutes from Big Sky Resort. Inspired by a fire lookout tower, this home offers unparalleled tranquility and breathtaking views of Lone Peak, Beehive Basin, and the Spanish Peaks.
Perched at 8,400’ above the Gallatin National Forest, this log home features a private hot tub, 360° deck, gourmet kitchen, and stone fireplaces. With convenient access to Big Sky’s premier slopes and scenic trails, adventure is right outside your door. Whether you’re skiing untouched powder, hiking through wildflowers, or simply soaking in the peace and quiet of Montana’s wilderness, this home is the perfect base for your escape.
In the summer, enjoy hiking, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, or a day trip to Yellowstone National Park. Experience abundant wildlife and wildflowers along the Beehive Basin Trail, which is adjacent to the property and ranked one of the top hiking trails in the US. After a day of adventure, enjoy a concert in the park, the local farmers market, or fine dining at the One&Only Moonlight Basin, just 15 minutes away.
***The Space***
Perfect for groups, the home sleeps 8 guests across 3 bedrooms, 5 beds, and 3 bathrooms. The primary suite includes a king bed, ensuite bath, and private fireplace. The guest suite offers a queen bed and ensuite bath. The third bedroom doubles as an additional living space and features a twin XL bunk bed, queen sofa sleeper, fireplace, and its own bathroom. On the top level, you’ll enjoy an open living, dining, and kitchen area with vaulted ceilings and a wraparound deck. While Big Sky’s summers are mild, there is no air conditioning, but high elevation and mountain breezes keep the home cool.
