Beautiful ocean view and beach

The location is perfect. Beach private and clean! Outside Hot tub was immaculate condition and cleaned. Home can use the annual deep cleaning and dusting.

Infested with Mold!

Do not stay here. We had to vacate the property immediately. It was hard to breathe because of the mold. This property was reluctant to refund us our full amount even though we didn’t stay there and were put out of a place to stay which left us in a scramble to find a last minute place. I am grateful for VRBO dealing with this situation.

Great place, great beach access! Screens on all windows might have made it easier to listen to the ocean and still keep bugs out. All in all was good for us.

Can’t beat the location

This house is only steps from the beach. The hot tub is a great feature as well. We spent a lot of mornings watching the ocean while we soaked. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing view

We had a great time at this house! The view is incredible with pretty easy access to the beach and OMG the beach was great. 7 miles long and wonderful for longs walks with the dog. The kitchen has pretty much every tool you need to cook. The couches/chairs are comfortable for lounging. We enjoyed the hot tub with the ocean view. Overall the place was very nice and the location hard to beat!! I hope to stay there again some day.

The Good, the Bad and the Dangerous

The Good- Loved the location and direct view of the ocean. The unit was clean and comfortable, especially the two swivel rockers. The hottub was great. The bad. Received the wrong code and had to work with a rep for 40 minutes to get in. The musty smell that others have mentioned due to mildew /mold was overppowering. The DANGEROUS. Dangerous beach access. We visited here a few years ago and I don't remember the beach access being so dangerous. Would not recommend for people with young children or frail in any way. No Steps, I tried to go down this enbankment but hit a slippery slope so to speak and fell and hit my hip - hard... I'm 72 years old. Never got to the beach. In order to get to a beach. you have to drive as there is no side roads. Very disappointed as one of the things we always like to do is walk on the beach.

great place for dogs

The location is really nice, though it's a bit difficult to find the first time. The property is near the ocean with a great view & big backyard. The dog absolutely had a blast running around & down on the beach. The house is close enough to both Yachats & Waldport to make it easy to go to restaurants &/or the store, but secluded enough to make for a great stay.

House impressions

Lovely view and hot tub. Shade curtains you could see through were nice. Specious living room and kitchen space. Carpets were a bit grungy though cleaned before our arrival. Bit of mildew in grout in shower. Hit my leg twice on the sharp bed postposts.

Nice location, but

The view is wonderful. Having the fenced in patio area was really nice for our dogs. The house is very livable and cozy. However, the Tv, microwave and spa were all broken and there is a musty smell that we couldn’t get rid of

Great dog friendly home

This house is great if you are traveling with your fur babies. The patio is enclosed and perfect for sunny days at the coast. Great view, right on the beach but no beach access from the house. The house is a little dated but very comfortable. Would stay there again. With a few updates I would give an overall rating of 5 stars!

Great place to make memories!!!

It was a very beautiful, clean home. My family and I were able to make some amazing memories there. We were able to enjoy walking down to the beach and having it pretty secluded as well as enjoying time in the hot tub looking at the waves :-) it was quiet and beautifully located! Would stay here again, and will be recommending it to friends and family!

Comfortable home with lovely views and right on the water

We had a lovely quick stormy weekend stay here. Slept well thanks to comfortable beds, comfortable sofas to ride out the storms while watching movies and best of all luxuriated in the hot tub a few times in between rainfalls. Only downsides which are minor but worth noting are the table has a really sticky feel to it even after wiping down with just hot water and the oven took a super long time to warm up. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for allowing fur babies!

Beautiful location. Home needs a lot of work

Location was so wonderful! If they could just do a deep clean, I'm sure it would be okay again. Great to have the garage and back yard area all nice. The home itself needs some work. Microwave doesn't work, rugs are so filthy, dust a few inches thick in master bedroom. Kitchen table was very sticky and didn't look as though the frig was cleaned well. Would stay again if they could do a deep clean.

Beautiful view

Views were nice, hot tub felt wonderful. Was nice having an enclosed patio area for the dogs. Only suggestion would be to tear carpeting out and put in engineered wood flooring. Would make the house feel alot cleaner

Overall, the house was fine and we had a very nice time. Stocked fairly well, the location and beach access were great. It was clean, as much as it could be for ant outdated interior, and the beds were very comfy.That being said there is a lot of room for improvement for this property. Walking into the house it had a VERY musty, odor. I'm assuming lots of wet dogs have been here, as that is how it smelled. Carpet and sandy/wet dogs do not compliment each other well. The interior could use some updating. The TV in the living room was a constant issue. Worked occasionally after lots of futzing. Which, reading the guest book, has been an ongoing issue. That apparently has not been addressed properly. The shower in the main bathroom did not work. Again reading the guest book, has been a past issue. The info book, about the house, is not up-to-date and some phone numbers do not work. Super frustrating after spending way to long trying to attempting to get the TV to work. Not much good to say about the up-keep, or lack there of, of the outside. It is in pretty sad shape! It is quite obvious that there has been no attention given to the exterior for some time. It really could be beautiful if someone actually worked on it a little. Seems pretty obvious that this house is a cash-cow for a company, could really use some TLC from someone who cared. When contacting the company they were quick to respond. Which we appreciated. Location & great views saved this place.

Fantastic view! Great location!

Loved the view of the ocean from house windows and outside patio. Beach access close! View from hot tub. Fire pit a plus! Shower in master has great water pressure and two heads. Close to local store and gift stores. Located between Florence and Newport. Close to Sea Lion Caves, Aquarium and local site seeing. Thankful they allowed 4 dogs!
