About the host
Hosted by Benjamin

I love creating experiences for guests through interactive and imaginative uses of interior design! Come explore my unique world of whimsical urban glamour with a cozy, one-of-kind twist on the standard stay in your typical vacation lodging. I have lived in the space for over ten years and have been constantly (over)designing my condo since I moved in: It is definitely a maximalists playground, reminiscent of a cozy cottage that your fabulously decadent great aunt might have left you by surprise in their will… Think of the Garden of Eden meets Hansel and Gretel by way of Jonathan Adler! Or perhaps Auntie Mame’s bachelorette pad if she was more into aquascapes?
Why they chose this property
I love living so close to the heart of the city! Everything is walkable, from restaurants to nightclubs, to downtown attractions to the Trader Joes or Whole Foods of your choosing! It truly is the ideal Seattle address, situated within an extremely cute, quiet and diverse neighborhood called Cherry Hill (because of all of the cherry blossom trees each Spring). Not only is it one of Seattle’s most adorable neighborhoods, it’s also arguably the most convenient! My private patio looks out onto a small park and feels very calm, yet the heart of the city is literally just a stone throw away! You could explore Seattle’s core without even having a car! (Although, a private parking space is also available for those who drove). Everything that you might want or need is just around the corner and yet you don’t ever have to feel like you cannot escape from the urban jungle. Why do that, when you could just walk into your own, aquatic jungle or private patio garden instead?
What makes this property unique
It’s creative and memorable from start to finish and that is what makes for the best kind of vacation, don’t you agree? If you’re looking for basics or something standard then there’s plenty of options! But The Spring Street Suite is remarkably familiar yet completely unique, or as one dear friend described it: “Always and Never the Same”
