We are very secluded and take extra steps to protect your safety

You will love our beautiful and secluded cottage with 4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths plus extra shower stall in the laundry room. We can sleep up to eleven guests very comfortably.

Our cottage is located on a peaceful and wooded lot less than half a mile from Silver Lake and near the State-Park. No direct neighbors allow for a private and secluded setting even though all the fun Silver Lake has to offer is only a stone throw away.

We have plenty of parking space for vehicles, trailers and dune toys. A circle driveway provides easy in/out access. Our detached garage is available for you during your stay to keep your dune toys dry in case of bad weather.

The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen with dish washer, convenience appliances, a snack bar in the kitchen, a small 'game room' on the lower level with access to a stone patio, a campfire pit, covered front deck, balcony deck off the kitchen with gas grill (propane furnished), fenced in yard, picnic table and lots more.

Awesome cabin and owners

Had a great stay at the cabin with a large group of friends the house was great for what we needed lots of parking space and a nice garage we were able to utilize during our trip. We eill definitely be back.

Excellent stay

Check-in process was great, the property owner communicated expectations well. The house was perfect for our family with lots of space for kids to play outside. There was plenty of space indoors to prepare meals and play games at the table. Will hopefully make it back again!

Secluded, yet close to town

This place was great, we all enjoyed staying. The beds were comfortable, good water pressure, nice appliances. Very quiet and peaceful location, I will book a stay here again. I highly recommend this property. Thanks again.

The house was great! It had everything we needed including a garage (to play cornhole) that we could use since it was raining in the evening. I would highly recommend this rental.

Even better than described!

Our family stayed at this property for several days while attending a family wedding in the area. It fit our needs well, with plenty of space. The beds were very comfortable. There was ample hot water. The kitchen was well appointed. The house is lovingly kept and located not far from the lake but set back enough to feel remote and quiet. My only subjective comment it is that it might not be the best choice for somebody with mobility difficulties. The stairs are quite steep and the walk in shower is located on the lower level. We would love to stay there again.

Perfect property for a family vacation

Had a fabulous time with the family, felt right at home. The property had everything we needed for for a perfect vacation Close to dunes, but had complete privacy. Hope to come back again soon

Set back away from everything in the woods. Very clean had issues with the pull out couch sort of needed that had 11 members in the family.But communication was very good with the property owner was very easy.

Fall Dunes riding

The house was a short drive...5 mins to the dunes. Accessibility was great for pulling a trailer at the property. The house could totally accommodated 8 comfortably. We had only 4 at that time. Great place would stay again.

Daughter's Wedding Stay

We stayed here for our daughter's wedding nearby. The home is very nicely decorated, spacious, and clean. The owners were very quick with responses/replies. Unfortunately, we did not spend much time at the home, but the time we did spend was enjoyable. We spent much of the time on the porch and loved the beautiful views of the wooded lot.

Fantastic Cabin in the Woods

Our group of 7 included myself, my son and his wife and my daughter and husband and two small children under 5 and one very friendly well behaved Golden Retriever. Our stay could not have been better. The location of the cabin was secluded yet just minutes from all the fun activities in town. The Cabin itself was immaculte, superbly stocked with everything you could possibly need and just a beautiful and fun home to stay in. If I owned a 2nd home, I would want one just like this. The hosts were kind and pleasant and very accomodating. We can't wait to stay there again next year.

Perfect family dune get-a-way

House was great! Perfect for our two families and being able to enjoy the dunes during the day, back to the house to BBQ and bonfire!! Is the perfect location!!

Lots of space, indoor and out

Loved the four bedrooms and two baths inside....and really loved the fenced in area outside to let our dogs run around. For over 20 years we've stayed at a campground in the heart of Silver Lake over the week of July Fourth, this was the first time staying a little bit further away. Worth it! Walked to public boat ramp to watch fireworks over the dunes. House is on a dusty two-track that was a little soft for our motorcyclists but not too bad. Very responsive hosts via email. Good internet. Lots of choices on the TV for the day it rained. Every appliance you could need in the kitchen and a washer/dryer available downstairs. Looking forward to staying here again :)

Relaxing and close to the beach and dunes

We had a wonderful time here. Everything is clean and undamaged. We were close to the beaches both lake Michigan and silver lake. A great dog run. Our son and daughter loved playing in the woods while we had drinks around the fire after a fun day at the beach and in the little town.

Our Family Vacation

I own a Real Estate Company in Florida and we manage vacation rentals. This was the first time I stayed in a unit we did not manage that met our expectations on how a property should be. Very clean and organized. Every item you would need to prepare a meal (except for groceries) was provided. Not goodwill quality but nice! The layout provided plenty of room for the 11 members of our family. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of outdoor seating as well. Parking was plentiful and room to park oversized vehicles.
