About this property

Fabulous Home Sleeps 14 with Private HEATED Pool and A/C close to Buchanan Beach

This home is located a 10 minutes south of the town of Grand Haven, just 3 blocks from Buchanan Beach, a clean and quiet Lake Michigan Beach. We also have a membership to the Christian Reform Campground, directly across the street. Our guests can use their beach, restrooms and facilities.

This is a very well maintained home that is fully furnished with everything you will need for a relaxing beach vacation. There are 3 bedrooms: Master w/ King bed and attached bath and closet on the first floor. Bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds and queen bedroom with a crib on the second floor. A full bathroom with a tub/shower on the second floor. There is a full basement that is set up with a queen bed, king bed and an additional set of bunk beds. Basement has separate seating area with a TV, a table and chairs for 4 and a full bathroom with a shower stall.

A full family room with TV, Cable, and DVD/Blu-ray player is furnished with leather furniture. Eating area has space for 6-8 people to eat. There are 4 bar stools for more people to eat at the counter.

The desk has plenty of outlets to plug in all electronics and a space to work.
Washer and dryer on the first floor, just off of kitchen.
Attached garage and plenty of parking.
Basketball net, fire pit and a quiet street for kids to ride bikes.
At the end of our street, there is a bike path where you can ride from Holland to Grand Haven, a beautiful ride!
Best of all is the in ground pool! This is private to our home and is professionally maintained.

Great Family Trip!
We stayed at this house last summer for a few nights and had a great time. This year, we booked a full week and enjoyed it immensely. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 kids. Short drive to town, can walk to beach and the pool was enjoyed every day. Lots of pool and beach gear in garage and a large number of bikes, as well. We are already planning our trip for next year!

Groom’s Family and Groomsmen
We had a fantastic stay as we prepared for wedding weekend. The house was close to the bride’s family home a mile away and within 20 minutes of the Spring Lake venue. The Groomsmen stayed the night before wedding and had a great time using the pool and having a bonfire. The house was clean with plenty of sleeping space for all. What a fabulous weekend. The King Family vacation
This home had everything you could possibly need. Since our stay was only 3 nights we stayed at the house and enjoyed the pool and firepit. We only made 1 trip to see Lake Michigan. It was so nice to get away from work and home to relax at this wonderful property. We will most likely return next summer.

Perfect pool house!
Everything about this house was perfect. We wanted a house with a private pool and this was exactly what we looked for. Accommodations were great - bicycles on site, fire pit, grill, and tons of space. Extremely clean and attention to detail (especially in the time of COVID). We hope to come back soon!

Best weekend getaway!
This property had every amenity that you could think of, including bikes and scooters for the children to play with! Extremely clean home, beautiful landscape to enjoy (the fall colors were gorgeous to look at) and so much room and living space for all to either gather or to get away to their own spot. We can't wait to come back in the summer months to enjoy the pool! Would absolutely recommend!

Grand Haven Family Vacation
This is a great house for a family vacation. The house was just as advertised. The only downside we experienced was weather related. The Lake Michigan water levels are very high this year and as a result there really is not a beach at the campground that you can enjoy. For beach time we needed to drive into Geand Haven.

2023 Family Vacation
We had a great time. 2nd time at this VRBO. The weather was lousy, highs barely making the low 60s and rain, but the facilities and heated swimming pool more than made up for it. We swam multiple times every day through the cold and rain. The location is so close to great paths for walking, biking, and hiking. Kids and grandkids left talking about coming back next year!

What a wonderful home that accomodated our entire family! Our kids loved swimming and playing outside. We were centrally located so we could drive 20 minutes either north or south and run into plenty of things to do with the kids. The house is large so that everyone has plenty of personal room and get around easily. I hope we can come back again!

Family 4th of July Retreat
Our family spent the long holiday weekend at this lovely Grand Haven home, and it met every expectation. Our group’s ages ranged from 1-83 years, and fun was had by all! The sleeping arrangements met all our needs, the kitchen was very well equipped, and everyone felt at home! The pool was so amazing that we never even made it to the beach! The property owner, Elizabeth, was super friendly and easy to communicate with. My family is already asking if we can return and make this vacation a new tradition!

Great Family Vacation
In all the years we have been renting vacation homes, we have never had one so CLEAN. The bathrooms and kitchen were well maintained. There were eight of us and we had plenty of room. The pool was great even on a couple unseasonably cool days. The area is so family friendly. The running/walking/biking paths encouraged us to get up and get moving in the morning. There was a minor issue with bees but the owner was very responsive on Sunday morning and the exterminator was out...problem solved. Our family has decided that we will definitely return to this property and can't wait until we do.

We are a busy family of 6 who love being at the beach. We have been vacationing in the Grand Haven area for the past 6 years before deciding to purchase. We have made this home very comfortable for our four young children. We enjoy being at the house with our extended family, there is room for everyone to be comfortable.

Why they chose this property

You really have the best of both worlds with this house. The beach is just a few blocks or you can stay and hang out at the pool. The town of Grand Haven has lots to see and do.

What makes this property unique

This home is close enough to town to get groceries (Meijer and Wal-Mart are a 10 minute drive) but the home is located in a very quiet area. You have the best of everything with this property! Just sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs with your morning coffee is a wonderful way to start your day!
