Family Reunion

We had a fabulous time in this South side Pittsburgh home. It has a wonderful open concept for cooking, eating, relaxing, watching the Stanley Cup playoffs together on the first floor. There is a great outdoor deck. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood and walking to eat at local spots. We took in many of the great sites in Pittsburgh, only minutes from this home, including the Aviary, saw the Pittsburgh Pirates play, Heinz museum, Carnegie Museum and the Monongahela Incline. There is a connected parking garage as well.

Perfect house for a group!

We had such a great time staying here! We had a group of 10 people and fit more than comfortably. The house is beautiful, spacious, and is in a great location to walk around Southside. I would love to stay here again!!

Great place for a group

We were a group of guys who went to Pittsburgh for the Steelers games. This place was perfect. It's a bit dated, but it's clean and well kept, is bigger than it looks in the pictures, and accommodated us well. It had all the basic amenities and supplies that you would want. We had to reach out to the host for a few minor things, and he was super responsive. Best of all, it was reasonably priced for us. We would stay here again for sure.

Pittsburgh Perfect

Amazing, clean, updated space for a large group. The host was excellent with communication and accommodating our needs for early check-in. He went out of his way to ensure our comfort, by supplying extra ice and water in the refrigerator when he had a concern about the ice maker not working. Linens and towels were clean and in abundance. Garage space was large enough to fit two larger vehicles. It was a quick family trip for us, but we would stay again should we need to be in the Pittsburgh area. Short Uber/Lift rides and the ferry made visiting Pittsburgh sites easy.

Pittsburgh Bachelor Party

This was a great place to stay for our bachelor party. The pictures actually don't do it justice in my mind. The kitchen/living room common area was bigger than it appeared in the photos and made for a great place to hang out while we weren't out and about. Very short walk to a lively area on Carson street and a short drive to downtown. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for this type of event.

Weekend trip in Pittsburgh

Property is well kept, updated and very spacious. The rooftop deck is great! 5 min walk to Carson Street! This place was perfect! Highly recommend staying here if you have a large group.

Sanctuary!!

I have to travel a lot with work and I always try to stay in VRBO's, when I can. Normally, I do not bother to review them, because the places are nice, but basically a "private" hotel. NOT this property!!!! It was an amazing place to get to stay. Everything was beautiful, super clean and it felt like a hug walking in the door! The rooftop living space was perfect!! I am hoping I need to return to Pittsburg just so I can stay here again!!! Maybe once Covid is better controlled I will just rent it for a family vacations!!! Excellent for extended family stay

House was very nice, comfortable, and convenient! We had adults and kids and everyone enjoyed the stay. Suggest adding a few casserole and/or baking pans to the kitchen (or for guests to bring disposable aluminum pans if they want to bake). Otherwise, we had everything we needed!

We were delighted with the townhouse. plenty of space and the locaton worked for us.

A few things you might look into .... add bedside tables and lamps, moved a lamp from the dresser to the bedside table so that i could turn off the overhead lights before I got into bed. Add more pans to the kitchen and serving dishes. Leave instructions concerning the recyclables, the rules are different in different cities. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. thank you

Stayed here four days with a large goup of friends for a Steelers weekend. Could not have asked for anything better. Beautiful house in a prime location. Perfect Place

We had a big group to watch the Steelers and sightsee in Pittsburgh for a few days--worked out perfectly. Your place has a great location, lots of amenities and attractions nearby. Inside, everything was amazing, lots of space for everyone to enjoy. Thanks a lot.

The house is clean and modern and has all the amenities you will need.

We were in town for Steelers and Penguins games and 9 of us stayed there very comfortably. It is a short walk to restaurants and bars and only 20 minutes to Station Square and the ferry to Heinz Field. Would highly recommend the house and would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful home off Carson Street

A group of friends came for a weekend of baseball and sightseeing and shopping. The house has just recently been redone and it is beautiful. The kitchen is lovely and it almost made me want to stay in and cook! We opted instead to just bring in a meal from a local Italian restaurant. The bedding was very comfortable and the bathrooms were very clean. They have super thick towels which were awesome! The house is located close to Carson Street and very centrally located for going to Station Square, the Strip, or the ballgames. We parked two vehicles in the garage (one being a minivan and one regular sedan) plus they have a parking pass should you have a third vehicle. The owner, Jonathan, was easy to work with and very responsive. Being a bunch of older folks, we did have some trouble figuring out the television and could have used more detailed instructions but after a few hours we did finally figure it out. We didn't cook any meals at the house since we were only there for a weekend, but did note that the kitchen could use some items like juice glasses, serving bowls and some basic spices, for those who wanted to spend time in the kitchen. I might also suggest that the owner provide hairdryers in each bathroom. It is something that is always provided at hotels and would be one less thing to pack for those flying in for a weekend. We would certainly recommend this home and would definitely rent this home again.

Pittsburgh's Historic South Side is Pittsburgh's most walkable and bikable neighborhood. The perfect launch point for a business trip, Pittsburgh vacation and trips to the Great Allegheny Passage. Walk to shop, restaurants, bars and more. The largest collection of City Steps in the world are just up the hill in the South Side Slopes.

Biking and the Great Allegheny Passage(the GAP). We are a very easy bike ride from the GAP and Three River's Heritage Trail which interconnects the South Side with just about every part of Pittsburgh's riverfront.

Short drive, bus or walk to Pittsburgh's Medical/University/Museum District in Oakland just across the Birmingham Bridge. Short drive, bus, walk or trail bike to Downtown Pittsburgh/Central Business District. Short drive, bus, walk or trail bike to North Side stadiums(PNC Park and Heinz Field) and the Rivers Casino, Science Center, Children's Museum. The PPG Paints Arena is just across the 10th Street Bridge in Uptown/Downtown Pittsburgh.

18th Street trailhead is a few blocks away and an easy bike ride to the house.
