About this property
Modern Dome Stay in Fort Worth’s Magnolia District
Welcome to PS1200, a sanctuary. Light, form, experimentation. Located in the heart of Fort Worth’s vibrant Magnolia Village, this contemporary "Kimble Museum-inspired” stay offers a design-forward retreat that seamlessly blends striking architecture with everyday functionality.
With soaring curved ceilings, a private patio, and sweeping park views, the space features custom designed furniture paired with thoughtfully curated objects, and art—ensuring an inspiring getaway for both locals and travelers alike. Just steps away from local restaurants, cafes, galleries, and shops—there’s always something to experience. Inspiration from within and around the space.

Nestled within PS1200's architectural landscape, this Stay is serene, experimental and innovative. With the inspired, calming lines of an arch—the walls become the roof, which become the walls again—and create a dialogue between space, light and landscape. Designed to prioritize creativity and connection, the space offers private moments within a vibrant public realm in the walkable Near Southside district of Fort Worth.
The interior is a fusion of high-concept design and livability, where form is both expressive and functional—featuring the work of Detroit-based furniture designers, Black Helmut and Floyd Home. With soaring ceilings, a private patio, and sweeping park views, the space transforms daily rituals into something to be longed for, and inspired by.
The project was designed by Marlon Blackwell (Architect) and Julie Bargmann (Landscape Architecture) and developed by Prince Concepts. All three parties have won multiple awards for this project and for others around the country.
The entire dome and private entrance is yours to enjoy.
Immerse yourself in Public Space 1200 at 229. Grab a cup of coffee at Cafe Momento and hang out in the public space courtyard or head back to your own private patio.
Complete with a full kitchen, one and a half bathrooms, washer & dryer, dishwasher, and coffee setup, plus a queen bed with soft comfortable sheets.
Explore the objects, magazines, art and custom furniture that fill the space, while you listen to the sounds of the Stay PS1200 playlist on the custom birch box sound system.
The kitchen comes complete with an electric stove, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, and is fully equipped with the chef in mind. Stay in to cook, or head to dinner at some of the exceptional walkable spots around PS1200.
The bathroom is equipped with all the essentials and a few extras. PAYA Organics products and robes are all waiting for you at Stay PS1200.
Wake up to an exceptional sunrise through the dramatic full window view from the bedroom. Golden hour spills light through the kitchen. At night, use the projector on the south wall for a solid canvas to enjoy your movie nights.
