334 Ocean Song - Ocean Front - 2 Pools - Top floor

This TOP floor beach front condo overlooks the beautiful Tybee Island dunes and beach from its private balcony. Located in the heart of Tybee Island, this one bedroom Beachside Colony Ocean Song condo offers in-room cable internet, a jacuzzi bath, and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean. It's king size bed, closet and spacious bathroom offer guests plenty of room to move about in its 1,000 square feet.

Steps away from the room are 2 private pools (one is heated all year) and a wonderful seafood restaurant The Deck. The Deck offers an outside deck, poolside deck and indoor dining, with live entertainment regularly. Directly across the street is a children's park, public library, tennis courts, and a YMCA.

We'd love for you to enjoy your downtime in our kitchen and living area where you'll be able to enjoy the TV, internet, and views of the beach all at the same time. On our balcony we have extra high porch chairs as well as a lounger and table with 2 chairs where you can enjoy cocktails, dinner or just relax and read a book. You can enjoy meals cooked in the condo, or you can have take out from one of the many fine restaurants on the island.

All reservations canceled 48 hours or more from the booking date are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. Reservations canceled for any reason within 60 days of the date of arrival will result in forfeiture of the RENTAL DEPOSIT (50% of the original rental rate plus all taxes and fees). Reservations canceled within 15 days of the date of arrival will result in forfeiture of the entire rental amount, including all taxes, fees, and rental deposits.

The condo was very nice. Had a great location, great views. It seemed to be lacking in certain amenities that we would expect for the price we paid. There was no complimentary coffee, laundry soap, facial tissue, basic seasonings (salt and pepper), toilet tissue was Motel 6 quality. Written instructions could be more user friendly. We had to figure out and ask other people how to get to the pool, the beach and how to access them using the gates. Had to call the office to get those codes. Had trouble finding the office to check in because google maps took us to the wrong location.

The condo is fine. A few signs of the overuse it gets, but considering how truly terrific the location is, it’s well worth the somewhat aged look. That said, we will absolutely rent this unit again should it be available.

All was great as presented. Loved sitting on balcony. The condo had everything we needed for a short stay. We visited in early May and didn't realize you had to call ahead to reserve beach chairs and umbrella or get up early to track down. Due to kids in school or labor shortages, this was an issue. I had to drive to reserve, pick up and drop off. So need to research before you go!

Overall, a great stay. View from the unit's terrace/living room and proximity to beach access points are both A+. Finishes in the unit are a bit dated, but I think that's reflected in the price point. Would have appreciated knowing ahead of time that the pool was completely gutted/under construction.

Great property and place. Be sure to bring chairs, towels and other beach accessories. Not there is no oven as clearly stated. Bring shampoo, soap etc as well. No broom or other cleaning products so if you are a staying a a week you may want to bring one. Regardless, a great place to stay

Location and price are the best features

This is our second stay and things have gotten a tiny bit worse than last time. There are some general upgrades and maintenance that are overdue. This unit could definitely use a new fridge and does not have an oven. The cookware is really difficult to deal with, and is worth bringing a couple nice pans of your own if you want to make breakfasts. We like to leave a place better than we found it, but there was no broom and no general cleaning supplies so we couldn't stay on top of the sand and such. This time the tub was clean, but you can't fill it and expect to have any hot water left for others. These are just kind of nit-picky things but they mean the difference between a 4 star and a 5 star property. Favorite thing, the captains chairs on the balcony make for great ocean viewing and the location is perfect. Rumor has it there will be new pools next summer!

Great location!

The condo unit was clean and very nice with a fantastic view of the beach. The restaurant next to the condo was really good and has a pool side bar. Only issue was it was a little confusing during checking you have to get your welcome package at a different location from the condo. The condo’s has two different property managers one property manager has an office located on the property and the other is location a couple of miles away and could only contact via phone. During checkout as we were load up the car we went back to get the last of our things the key pad changed the code automatically at 10am we had to call the emergency number to help us get in again.

You can do much, much better!

We’ve stayed at VRBOs from coast to coast and have never paid more for less. Whatever happened to Southern hospitality? Or just standard industry practice! This unit is lacking more than an oven. It’s missing all the small touches one usually finds when renting. No mini shampoo bottles in the shower or detergent for the washer. An insufficient # of trash bags and dishwasher detergent for our 9-day stay (3 tablets!). No beach towels. The only closet was stuffed with a broken ironing board and broken luggage rack, along with miscellaneous stuff that was clearly the owners (pictures, mirrors, tiles). The garbage disposal was not working and we called it in. No on ever showed up to fix it. There was a bad mildew smell from the washing machine. Sure, it’s a great location, but so is every other unit in the complex. Do yourself a favor and find a better one.

Perfect 25th Anniversary Vacation

This condo and location were excellent. We woke up early and had coffee on the balcony while we watched the sun rise beyond the ocean waves. Amazing sea shells found on beach walks each day. Not too crowded and you can bike or walk to everything and even bike on the beach! Head to the pier for drinks and watch a fisherman catch and release a baby shark. Very calm ocean - so no giant waves, which we liked for swimming. The condo was beautiful. It had everything we needed. At night we would get take-out and enjoy sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine to unwind. The ocean view was fantastic! The bed was comfy and the seating in the family room was perfect. The bathroom was luxury - giant shower and jacuzzi tub. We would stay here again in a minute! Peaceful, relaxing; romantic and fun!

Nice property

This was a nice property and the third unit we've stayed in at this location. There were a few issues with the cleanliness of the unit, the biggest of which was the jet tub which hadn't been cleaned properly and so the jets spewed out black slime. There is NO OVEN. So if you plan to save money by cooking some of your own meals, just be advised. Property management was very responsive and apologetic. Also, a Covid-19 disclaimer might be warranted as it has been a rough season on Tybee and many places are understaffed. Overall this property is satisfactory, but I don't think I'll choose to stay in this unit again.

Our entire family (4 children with spouses & 6 grandchildren) have been coming and enjoying the island as there are many activities and enjoyment for all ages. Our family has always enjoyed the varied activities Tybee offers such as the bike riding, beach sitting, porch reading, seafood eating, walking, fishing, boating, you name it, Tybee's got it.
