About this property
Honey Hole a Big Pine Key paradise, canal to Bogie Channel
Nestled in Big Pine Key, this charming house offers 2 cozy bedrooms with 2 queen beds and 1 full murphy bed. The primary bathroom has a shower tub combo. The 2nd bathroom has a walk in shower. The 3rd bathroom is modern outhouse style and can be found outside. We also have an outdoor shower for your convenience. The living room also provides extra sleeping space with a comfy sofa bed. With amenities like a washing machine, dryer, AC, WiFi, and more, guests can relax in this tranquil retreat.
In the kitchen we have a crock pot, blender, toaster, drip coffee maker, espresso maker, nugget ice maker, microwave, and all the cooking essentials you need.
The home is on a small canal right off of Bogie Channel. The canal is narrow and requires a skilled captain with a boat no longer than 25 feet. We do not have a dock but we offer plenty of space to park your boat along the seawall or in the boat slip. We have provided pictures of the seawall and boat slip. We are just a few minutes walk to the Old Wooden Bridge Marina. If you have a larger vessel you can inquire with the marina about renting a boat slip there. They also have a boat ramp, fuel, and trailer storage if needed. We do have plenty of parking at the home for multiple cars and trailers.
Big Pine Key is home to the famous Key Deer. Deer can be seen daily at Honey Hole.
We limit the use of pesticides at Honey Hole. We want to offer a toxic free, healthy space for not only the local deer but for our guests as well. We have lots of native plants and tree’s, making our home an inviting habitat for native birds, bugs, and wildlife. We also have many hosts plants on site. Look for caterpillars and watch for all the butterflies and other pollinators.
Feel free to add your artistic touch to our “living fence”. This mural fence is living because it is growing and changing with each guests creation.
The pool is tiny. Plunge pools are not made for doing laps and diving, but they are perfect for relaxing and cooling off.
The home is ground level but there is 2 steps to get in the front door and 2 steps to get down into the dining room and living room area.
