Entry is from the 'pedestrian only' street, through traditional glazed doors, on to a cobblestone lobby. A comfortable flight of stairs leads to the apartment on the first level. Inside there is a spacious, comfortable, attractively decorated living space.
'Appartement Francois' is in the historic quarter and only minutes from shops, restaurants, studios, art galleries and so much more. Pezenas will appeal to people of all ages and interests. It is situated between the mountains and the sea. It has the best weather in France and provides a perfect base for travelling around this beautiful region of southern France.

The apartment has a particularly spacious feel being on one level with high ceilings throughout and exposed beams in the dining area. Light floods into all rooms through high windows reaching almost to the ceiling. It has been redecorated in a contemporary style with quality modern appliances and technology.
The living area is open plan with a lounge dining area. The sitting area has two sofas, an ottoman, a coffee table, an LCD flat screen TV with HDMI cord to connect to your own laptop, a sound system and a DVD player. Fibre optic highspeed internet/wifi works throughout the apartment; and a writing desk is also available to use. The adjoining dining area has a table and six chairs. This area opens out directly onto the sunny, south facing terrace garden through large arched glazed doors. The ¾ metre thick limestone walls of the old building can be appreciated here and through the adjacent window overlooking the terrace.
The garden terrace is furnished with comfortable seating and a modern barbeque. There are also two deck chairs available to use. A large extendable canvas canopy provides exactly the required amount of shade, and potted citrus trees and Mediterranean plants surround the terracotta tiled floor. The terrace is very private and set back from the street overlooking a cobbled courtyard off rue François Oustrin. It is not easily visible from the street or surrounding buildings making the apartment and terrace also very quiet. An extendable clothes line is located on the terrace, but well hidden.
The kitchen is well equipped with a sink, oven, stovetop, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine and all the usual small appliances. You will appreciate the generous supply of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans.
The large main bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, bedside tables with lamps, large wardrobe, and a chest of drawers. The room has two beautiful high classical windows overlooking the 14th century atrium. A well appointed en-suite complete with two basins and a bath/shower adjoins the bedroom.
There is a separate, newly renovated shower room with sink and heated towel rack, as well as a water closet. There is a hair dryer in each bathroom.
The second bedroom contains two single beds. It has bedside tables with lamps and room to hang your clothes. This room has two large classical windows overlooking the private atrium and is across the hall from the shower room and separate toilet. The two bedrooms are quite separate and private.
There is an air conditioner in the apartment as well as stationary fans for each bedroom.

Parking is not a problem at Appartement François as there are 2 carparks very near. A reasonably priced 'pay' carpark is at the end of the street, only steps away; and a huge 'free' carpark is located nearby. The bus station is a short walk away.
