This villa is equipped with all that is necessary to make your Algarve Holiday relaxing, enjoyable and memorable.special prices .THE SUMMER IN PORTUGAL IS TO GOOD TO BE MISSED................ Dining and drinking: Restaurants in a radius of about a 10 minute drive (e.g. in Estoi, Moncarapacho, Sao Bras de Alportel) provide for your well-being with tasty Portuguese cuisine. Typical for the Algarve menu is fish and seafood. Portugal is a wine country and it is always worth trying the white, green or red wines.Estoi village (5 minutes by car from the villa) is an unspoilt, quaint little hilltop town, nestled in the foothills of the Serra do Caldeirão. Narrow, cobbled streets wind through this charming resort to the central town square, where you will find the impressive town church and everything you need; supermarket, bakery, pastry, butcher, hairdresser, banks, cafes where you can enjoy a coffee and a cake, etc. On the second Sunday of each month a market is held on the outskirts of Estoi, where a variety of clothing and handmade crafts as well as fruit and vegetables can be picked up. Schönes Haus - wunderbare Umgebung

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dem großen Haus. Alles war sauber und in gutem Zustand. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Garten und der Pool sind ein Highlight. Die Beschreibung und die Bilder entsprechen der Realität. Wer eine ruhige und entspannte Zeit abseits der Touristenzentren sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

Prachtige villa met magisch uitzicht over de bergen

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in het huis. Het huis is ontzettend ruim en met een gezin met 4 kinderen is dat heel fijn. Alle slaapkamers hebben hun eigen badkamer. Minpunt is dat je voor de airco moet bijbetalen en ook voor het beddengoed. Verder ligt het huis behoorlijk afgelegen en is er weinig vermaak in de buurt. Een prima huis maar voor ons gezin mag de locatie wat levendiger zijn.

Maison agréable et grande. Supplément pour les draps et serviettes. Il manquerait une enceinte pour écouter de la musique et surtout des indications pour trouver la maison : très complexe surtout de nuit … Un peu loin des plages mais environnement très calme.

Nachdem wir das Haus gefunden haben 😉waren wir angenehm überrascht ! Die Aufteilung ist klasse , sodass alle ihr Privatsphäre haben ! Es ist wunderbar ruhig und der Pool ist toll ! Die Kpche war perfekt ausgestattet! Nur die Fliegengitter vermissten wir ! Die Stechmücken waren fies !

Wonderful stay at Villa Murta

Our family of 6 adults recently stay at Villa Murta for 3 weeks in May24 and were very pleased with our decision to stay here. The villa was very large and fit our family well. We enjoyed the pool and the pool table and the location to Faro and surrounding area was easy to access. The road leading to the villa is very narrow so a smaller vehicle is recommended. The location to the closest Lidl and Continente grocery stores in Sao Bras de Alportel was very convenient. Thank you Villa Murta for an awesome family vacation. !

Meivakantie 2024

We hebben een hele fijne meivakantie gehad in deze villa. Het huis was schoon en netjes. Het verwarmde zwembad was fantastisch en ook de omgeving was prachtig. Een minpuntje vonden wij het handdoeken en lakenpakket a 35 euro pp. De handdoeken waren nogal versleten en wel aan vernieuwing toe. Verder een fijne plek en op al onze vragen kregen wij snel antwoord van Marco Rosado. Wij komen graag nog eens weer! Fam. Haasdijk- de Vries

Sehr schöne Villa in den Bergen

Wir durften vier Wochen dieses wunderschön gelegene Haus genießen. Die Villa ist sehr großzügig, jedes Zimmer hat ein eigenes Bad, die Küche ist groß und komfortabel eingerichtet, genug Besteck, Geschirr und Gläser. Die Aussenküche ist gemütlich und läd zum Verweilen ein. Der Pool ist ist ein Herzstück und kann beheizt werden. Das großzügige Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt, was für uns als Hundebesitzer perfekt war. Einkaufsmögmichkeiten gibt es in kleineren Geschäften in Estoi, wir sind aber gerne in das Forum Algarve gefahrenen. Der Check in war ok, die Wegbeschreibung könnte ausführlicher. Uns hat es sooo gut gefallen, dass wir die Villa für das nächste Jahr wieder gebucht haben und das sagt doch alles. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Aufenthalt

Riesige Villa in ungstörter Umgebung

Eine Woche war zu wenig. Alles in perfektem Zustand. Die Küche bietet alles was man dich wünscht. Die Terrasse mit Grill nahedeen Pool ist der perfekte Ort für die Mahlzeiten.Die 5 Badezimmer funtionieren alles erstklassig und sind sehr geschmackvoll (meiner) eingerichtet. Die Schränke in den Schlafzimmern sind riesog. Der Billardtisch setzt allem die Krone auf.Mit dem Auto sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und phantastische Strände lässig zu ereichen. Wir wären gern für immer geblieben.

Lovely villa - shame about service

This is a lovely property with lots of space, but feels a little tired, a bit like the service by owner/manager… We made our booking, then booked our flights…then the owner got in touch saying we had to move to a day later - our flights were already fixed. Eventually he agreed we could work with the original date. But communications were terse. I was concerned about finding the property as we were arriving late and previous reviews said it was difficult to find, but it was no problem. I asked the owner to ensure some water and fruit, for example, were left In the property as we would be very late arrivals. There was nothing left for us. We paid 35€ per room for towels and bedding - the info booklet at the property said towels would be changed mid week and bed linen after a week - and cleaning. This did not happen, despite me contacting the manager and owner, who said that no info booklet existed (?) and I would have to pay again per room if i wanted bedding changed - I even photographed the booklet - really disappointing! I had also asked if it was possible for some other pillows. That was a ignored. The pool filters did not seem to be running or the baskets cleared so I messaged to check - the owner told me to stop worrying about small stuff and enjoy my holiday…. Our aircon stopped working the day before we left - I messaged to report it and the manager rang to tell me where the trip switch was - this did not solve the problem and nothing else was done. Shame.

Out of date beautiful spot it could be wonderful with some money spent on it. The drainage in showers need to be looked at as the base filled with water it didn’t drain away so you had a backwash of hair and do not know what else, not very pleasant, this was on all showers. I was told on the Sunday we needed to bring bedding and towels, I had not read this in the information so that was my fought I was shocked of having to pay extra to acquire the bedding for our stay, why would you travel on a plane with bedding, I was totally thrown apparently since Covid, we have to live with Covid it’s not goin When we arrived it was just left on the hall table we had to make our own beds, not what I would expect. The bedding and towels need to be updated, the bath towels almost like hand towels. The pillows were filled with cubed foam, most uncomfortable. The pool table on two of its sides there are patio doors, a complete accident one of the balls fell off the table bounced and went into the patio door cracking the window, so added insurance is essential in this property. The aircon went off several times had to phone for it to be rebooted. BBQ was not fit for purpose and filthy. There is an old fridge freezer in the kitchen which is broken and has been there since 2019 needs to be removed. The balcony upstairs off one of the bedrooms could do with some furniture so you could enjoy views of an evening. On the upside it was well stocked cutlery and crockery. Disappointing

Average stay for a family of 4

Our 9 night family stay at Marta was good at best. The villa is very large and each room is very spacious. The villa can hold two families of 4 or 4 couples. The villa is set outside the village/small town of Estori. It's a quiet location, other than the occasional noises of dogs barking and roosters calling out, which we found fitted the setting. The narrow dirt road leading to the villa is not ideal for a van or large people carrier. There are a few downsides to the villa that we found. We paid additional costs (300euros) for the pool heating and linen, but the pool never got above 25 degrees, which in April was very cold. The cost of the linen for a family of 4 consisted of 2 pool towels, 2 bath towels and 6 hand towels and 2 white bed sheets. Pillows were very lumpy and old, and dated blankets. The kitchen cooking equipment is old and handles on pans were loose. No cleaning supplies were left other than half a bottle of washing up liquid and one sponge. The sun loungers are dated and old. Lastly the sofa was awful, dirty and separated into small sections constantly. Not comfortable at all. The villa needs updating with regards to furniture and homeware. I am not sure I would completely recommend this villa as these issues did annoy me throughout the stay.

Really nice peaceful location

We had an amazing time away and was a beautiful place to stay, it’s initially abit challenging to find but once there it was a breeze in and out, the villa is extremely large and spacious with everything you need. We had gone for the pool to be heated due to the time of the year this wasn’t very efficiently ran so it remained cool but the owner generously reimbursed us for this! The communication was great and I would recommend and return my self.

Portuguese holiday retreat

Great villa and as we expected, in the hills in a peaceful location. The house had all we needed and sightseeing in the area is easy (car essential) New bed linen and pillows would be a great investment. We will definitely return to Portugal, everyone we met was friendly, the food delicious and thoroughly enjoyed the local vino verde

Pas terrible pour un Premium.

Linge maison facturé, annoncé après la réservation 35e par chambre. Les lits pas faits. Couvertures à laver, taches urine sur matelas. Cheminée mais pas de bois. Chauffage facturé. Problème capacité électrique entre chauffage, four et eau chaude. Maison "froide"dédiée à la location, pas une bouteille d eau à l arrivée, pas de superflux. 😏. Accès pas évident. Grande propriété, parking. Bonne réactivité du gérant. Le propriétaire ne répond pas mais ne dit pas à qui se référer. Fer à repasser et sèche cheveux hors service. Cafetière qui fuit. Sauf amélioration, je ne conseille pas cette villa.
