Welcome to the Ringrose House! The property is situated on 6 acres nestled on the crest of a dense Oak studded canyon overlooking the year round Mariposa Creek running just below the deck; where Guests can enjoy an abundance of birdlife, deer and the occasional bobcat all while listening to the spilling waters of the creek. The property is located only 5 minutes from town and a few minutes from the YARTS Bus Stop offering direct rides to Yosemite.
The space
Ringrose House was built in the 1970s from Adobe Brick and Wood by the original owner Bob Ringrose, a carpenter and blacksmith for Yosemite National Park alongside his wife Inky, a nurse at Yosemite and local musician. Wood details can be found throughout the home through massive exposed beams, custom Oak cabinetry and window frames, armoire and even toilet paper holders.
Guest access
Guests have full access to the house and its amenities. Guests may use the entirety of the property with the exception to the basement level below the main house.
Access to the creek is available via small nature trails that begin at the end of the driveway. Some experience hiking is suggested before wandering around the property hillsides.
Other things to note
The exterior stairs down to the basement level are for staff use only.
