Discover the beauty of Mulegé from this bright and cozy one bedroom casita, walking distance to town and nestled in a private palm grove. Pick oranges, limes, tamarind, and guava straight from the tree (depending on the season). The bedroom features a high quality king bed, perfect for a serene night's sleep. The chorus of songbirds will gently wake you in the morning and if you decide not to visit the nearby white sand beaches during the day, you can pass your time watching all the birds pass by. Stay comfortable no matter what the season with both AC and heat while being productive on the high speed WiFi or lazying around on the smart TV. The living room offers 2 twin beds for additional sleeping space. With a fully equipped kitchen, you can cook all your favorite meals or walk/drive to town and sample one of the many great restaurants in Mulegé. The property is fully fenced and there's an additional layer of fencing attached directly to Casita Azul so your dog(s) can have fun exploring the space as well. 100% no smoking inside the casita. $500USD fine for smoking inside the casita. It takes too long to clear the smell and future guests are impacted.

Please don't put toilet paper or other products in the toilet. Use the garbage can next to the toilet. Our septic can't handle the impact of products.

We have been living full time in Mulegé since 2021 (after visiting here since 2011) and we absolutely love this incredible community. We we both raised in the US by European parents and have traveled the world since we were old enough to explore. Having found this quiet and welcoming community, we feel more at home here than anywhere else we've lived. We look forward to welcoming you and to sharing this slice of perfection with you.

Why they chose this property

Our organic orchard is one of the most beautiful pieces of land in all of Baja. Surrounded by a striking desert, our property is full of fruit trees, grass, and flowering plants such as palo de arco and bougainvillea of every color. It's truly an oasis! Our fruits are organic and include oranges, grapefruit, figs, guava, bananas, papayas, mangos, tamarind, limes, tangerine, and pomegranate, among others. Not to mention the 167 palms that adorn the property, many of which provide dates when in season.

What makes this property unique

We are located just a short walk or drive to town and yet you'll feel like you're on an isolated orchard miles from anywhere and anyone. We're also just a short 15 minute or so drive to some of the most stunning white sand beaches in Baja. As noted above, the fact that we have so many trees and lush landscaping makes the space that much more special as it attracts everything from songbirds to Great Horned Owls and everything in between. Flowering palo de arco lines the property in every direction and bougainvillea of just about every color shines through the stunning landscape.
