You won't regret renting this wonderful house!

This is a beautifully renovated historic home with great attention to detail. It feels like a home rather than a rental house, warm and stylish but modern and uncluttered. It was immaculately clean, well-stocked and well-organized upon our arrival. The location is excellent with immediate access to the shops, great restaurants, and galleries of Commercial Street's east end and a 2 minute walk to great swimming at the bay beach. The house contains everything you might need for cooking and taking care of your daily needs. We particularly enjoyed the piano, outside shower, big round dining table that easily sat our party of 8, 4 en suite bathrooms, huge parking area, and comfy TV room. The front porch is a great spot to sit and say hi to neighbors walking by, and though it is not directly on the water, there are some beautiful water views from a few different spots throughout the house. Note that the house might not be appropriate for folks who have trouble getting around, since the bedrooms are all on the second or third floors and the stairways are pretty steep (as would be expected with the age of the house), and also that there aren't really beach accoutrements provided, like beach towels, chairs or umbrellas.

One of the best in P Town

All we can say is wow. Amazing location, views, finishes, furnishings, outside space(s) and (all ensuite) baths. And then there's the KITCHEN! Truly a chef's delight. Everything you need to easily create remarkable meals for everyone in the house. A++++. Leasing was super smooth and property manager was extremely responsive (pre, during and post). Will definitely be back.

5 stars. True perfection.

This is our second time at this wonderful home -- our P'Town home away from home. Everything about the house and all the indoor and outdoor spaces are even better IRL then in the pictures. Keith and Lee's place is in the perfect location, very easy to get around by foot and bike -- a very short walk to awesome galleries, PAAM, Angel Foods, restaurants and everything Provincetown has to offer. The home is great, very clean -- spotless in fact! -- and has everything you need, including a true chef's kitchen stocked to the gills. Joel was also very helpful since the beginning, available at all times whenever we had any questions. Totally recommend it. Five stars. Greatly exceeds expectations. Cliff & Stephen

The Best

This review goes against my better judgement as I did not want to write a review until I secured a reservation for next year. This was our third year (missed last year due to Covid) in the most perfect house in the most perfect location in all of Provincetown. The smallest details have been carefully thought out by the owners in decorating and furnishing it. This is not a rental property. It is clearly a second home that the owners have decided to rent it out when they are using it. It is furnished and equipped for their, and thus, those lucky enough to rent it, enjoyment.

Finally, the perfect Provincetown home

My husband and I have been coming to Provincetown for 25+ years -- as single gay guys, as a married couple before kids, as a family, and now with older independent kids -- and this is the home we wish we would have had through all those stages. We've been through our share of houses/apartments that left something lacking in terms of space, cleanliness, or service. This home has everything on our wish list: four bedrooms with their own bathrooms, water views, outdoor space with lovely plants, a beautiful front porch, well-stocked kitchen, good WiFi, an outdoor shower, a gas grill, ample parking, charming art and furnishings that match our taste, even a piano for our son to play. It's impeccably clean. It feels like we are making a seamless move into a friend's home rather than a rental where the place is stripped of dish soap and toilet paper before we arrive and we have to make a run to Stop and Shop when we are tired from travel. The location is perfect for us -- near Commercial in the East End, but on a very quiet block. We can't wait to return!

Extraordinary rental propery

What everyone else said. This is a great house, with a grand first floor, high-end finishes, nice art, water views, and the perfect bedroom layout for privacy. It feels much nicer than your typical "rental property". The kitchen is indeed well-equipped; we cooked a couple dinners and breakfasts, and made good use of the now-famous butter dish. The location is perfect. You are steps from Strangers and Saints, a couple blocks from Spindlers morning coffee cafe, and in the other direction, galleries galore and the Angel market. It is quiet at night, yet a few blocks away the busy heart of Commercial St begins, so everything is walkable. Joel was great as well. Communication was a breeze. All in all, just what we were hoping for during this birthday week trip with friends.

Perfect Place in Provincetown

This was our second year staying at this property and nothing changed, still perfect. Perfect location, Perfect house with perfect bedroom / bathroom accommodations and gathering spaces, from the well stocked kitchen to large round dinning table to having morning coffee while sitting in the Adirondack chairs on the front porch. Looking forward to going back next year.

The most pefect house in P-town!

I have been going to P-town for over 25 years, and this house sets a new standard of excellence on the Rental market. It is a perfectly designed renovation that keeps the charm and character of old P-town while offering all the modern amenities today's travelers want. Our group of 6 loved every space, especially the Front Porch! The Kitchen is wonderfully equipped and works well for large groups participating in meals. We even loved the neighbors!!

WOW

In conclusion, I waited until I secured the house for a week in 2019 before writing this review. This would be a 5 Star property even if it was in an location where you have many other options, but since you don't in Provincetown, it is actually a 7 - 8 Star property. Just walking up to the house makes you realize you're in for something special. Then you walk inside. The heart of the home is the open kitchen / dining room area. Several in our group love to cook and were blown away by the kitchen and its amenities. When their only complaint was there wasn't a butter dish, you know they were really looking hard for something to find fault with in the kitchen. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and there is a 5th, yes 5th, full bath off the kitchen. Furnishes and furnishings are all top notch. And finally, the location, half a block off Commercial street and 6-7 blocks from the center of town and the Pier. Looking forward to next year. Highly recommend booking a mani-pedi at Jonathan Williams with the parafin wax treatment. The height of being pampered.

Beautiful house and perfect location

Our group has been going to Provincetown for about 20 years and we have stayed in some beautiful homes. This one was a notch above the rest. Every room had its own full bath, all furniture and appliances were high-end, and the home was beautifully decorated with attention to detail. The location was perfect - close to shops and restaurants and a short walk to the center of town. Would highly recommend! In addition, Joel was very responsive and a pleasure to work with!

Perfect

There were six family members and we stayed for one week from Sept 9 - 16, 2017. The house clean, well organized and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was gourmet which allowed my in-laws to cook seafood paella one night and beef tenderloin the next. One of the owners Lee greeted us when we arrived and when we left to ensure we had everything we needed for our stay. The weather and town were perfect. Although we had beach access, we chose to spend most of our time on Race Point beach everyday. Because it was off season, parking was easy, the crowds non-existent, no fees required, and the weather was perfect. This house was perfectly located within walking distance of some very good restaurants and coffee/breakfast places. Would definitely rent again.

Terrific house

This house is a dream - beautiful architecture; large, light, airy shared spaces downstairs - though with just the separate sense of privacy a group or family needs upstairs - and decks, porches and planted areas outside with views of the water. The kitchen is a cook's dream. Perfect location: steps away from everything, but not in it, so it's quiet. We'd recommend this house to any Provincetown visitor. But please don't take our week - we want to rent it again next year.

Perfect Provincetown Escape

My partner and I went to Provincetown for the first time over the 4th of July week and this property absolutely made our vacation! The house is located on a side street, right off the main street that runs through downtown. You’re within walking distance from all the action but are set back so you hear very little noise. The house has parking spots if you need them, but we took the ferry and walked everywhere. The house was less than 10 minutes from the pier. The house is beautifully decorated – featuring pops of color and industrial wood and metal accents that made the house feel very rustic yet homey at the same time. You feel a sense of history staying here but with all the modern conveniences you would want in a vacation rental. The beds in each of the bedrooms are extremely comfortable and all the bedrooms have their own beautifully remodeled bathrooms. The large kitchen serves as great gathering area and has everything you would need to prepare a meal for your group. One of the many highlights of the home is the front porch (perfect for having a cocktail and watching people meander down the street) as well as the top floor deck (the views of the ocean and town were phenomenal and the sunset we caught one evening was one of our favorite memories of the trip). The owners have anticipated your every need and have plenty of towels and linens on hand as well as toiletries for the bathrooms. We knew that we were going to be staying at a beautiful home from the photos featured on this site, but our expectations were surpassed every step of the way. Do yourself a favor - stop your search now and book this house. You’ll be glad you did.

Close to everything in First Class style

First, the agent was very responsive and helpful during our stay. The property is delightful in every aspect. While parking for 4 cars might be a challenge, 2-3 fit well. First floor rooms are spacious. Each bedroom has a full bath and there is even one on the first floor. Taking a shower in the outdoor space is fun. I recommend the house to anyone who wants a comfortable experience and appreciates high quality design.

This home is amazing!

This home is AMAZING on so many levels: Exterior – When you first walk up to the house, you are initially struck by its beauty and charm. The house and gardens are so meticulously maintained that it sets the stage for more of what is to come. It was not uncommon for people to stop and take photos of the hydrangeas, or to comment on how much they love the home. Parking – We did have a car and the parking was terrific! The house is on a narrow street (typical of Provincetown) but the double wide driveway makes it very easy to back out into the street. Front Porch – The porch on the front of the house became one of our favorite hangout spots in the house! It is perfect for morning coffee, afternoon cocktails and the impromptu cocktail parties that seemed to happen as people walking by would stop. The house is on a one-way street so there is not much car traffic, but there is enough foot traffic to make for enjoyable people watching. Location – If you want a home that is convenient to the center of town, this is it! Strangers and Saints is right at the end of the street so it was easy to walk there for a drink or a quick bite, or to go to Tea Dance, or just to shop. We never needed the car once we arrived! As close as it is to the center, it is still extremely quiet for sleeping. Owners – Keith and Lee are so responsive and attentive. As owners, they take great pride in the house yet were not intrusive at all. It was nice to know that they were available if we needed anything, yet gave us the privacy that we appreciated. And then there is the house itself!... When you first walk into the home, you immediately notice the attention to detail in the home design and decoration, the melding of character and modern amenities, the cleanliness of the home, and an overall sense of luxury. The home is thoughtfully furnished and feels extremely comfortable. Every bedroom is a great size with plenty of storage space, light, privacy…and its own bathroom! The bathrooms are spa-quality, spacious and immaculate. All bedrooms are located on the second and third floors of the house, so they are secluded for those who want to sleep while others are awake. In addition to all of this, there is also a beautiful kitchen for those who like to cook, a piano for those who like to play, water views from the dining room (and third floor widow’s walk), an additional outside dining area, and an outdoor shower for post-beach! I cannot recommend this house enough. It is truly one of the

Can't Wait to Come Back

We stayed at the house for a family reunion. The home itself is truly amazing; the pictures don't do it justice. It truly is the perfect house for relaxing and entertaining. The accommodations are exquisite, clean and meticulously maintained. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful porch to sit and relax with a drink. The house manages to be homey and incredibly well-appointed at the same time. The house sits right off of Commercial Street (the main road through town) with easy access to all the shops and restaurants. What is nice though, is that you are not directly on Commercial Street with all the related noise, traffic and congestion. Some other things that are useful to know: the kitchen is the most well-appointed kitchen I've ever been in. Every implement you might need is right there, including a full (and nice) pots and pans sets, etc...! Everything you need to make a perfect dinner is there (if you choose to stay in!). What is great is there is a large center island which everyone can hang around while meals are being prepared. Lastly, as we have seen, parking in the area is a pain. However, the house had 4 spots with easy access to the front or back of the house. We parked our cars and didn't move them for the entire stay. We are looking forward to coming back for years to come.
