The luxurious villa of epochs from the late 19th century is surrounded by a garden with tropical old plants and palm trees. The majestic building has 2 large living rooms, living cum kitchen, 5 bedrooms, veranda and 2 spacious patios. The villa is located in an older residential area very near to Lago Maggiore and just 10 minutes walk away from Locarno railway station. One car parking space is available. The villa is designed inside by a spacious staircase. The main rooms are kept in gothic romantic style and are characterised by imposing ceiling heights, high quality materials and specially inlaid fine work. The house is equipped with 3 modern bathrooms/showers. The new kitchen is fully fitted with ceramic glass hob, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and all other kitchen needs. Rooms and living room are furnished with new furniture including a flat screen television.


Secret tips for trips and shoppers: Apart from many options for day trips around Lago Maggiore there are other trips which are worth recommending: The picturesque Maggiatal valley waits for you with attractive pebble beaches by the riverside, enchanting villages with stone houses and countless number of hiking trails. The Verzasca valley is popular for the gorged stone riverbed, which invites for numerous weekends for sunbathing. The district of Bellinzona with its medieval fortifications belongs to the Unesco World Heritage Site. Locarno is the ideal starting point for various shopping tours. Apart from many shops in Locarno there is Ascona with its famous beach promenade and numerous boutiques and art galleries just 5 minutes from villa Locarno. With a 30-minute drive by car you can get to the shopping paradise of Lugano or to the legendary market of Luino on the opposite side of the lake. A one-hour drive leads in to the northern Italian fashion metropolis of Milan.

Travel information: The villa Locarno is easily reachable with the public transport: The nearby Lugano airport (35min) and Milan Malpensa (90min). The Locarno railway station with its frequent train connectivity to Zurich and Lugano is just 10 minutes walk away from villa. Schöne Tage in der Villa
Wir haben Freunde zu einem Geburtstagsfest eingeladen und alle waren rundum zufrieden. Auch das Wetter hat mitgemacht und so konnten wir auch den Garten und die hintere Terrasse genießen. Einzig in der Küche waren noch Lebensmittel und Gewürze vorhanden, obwohl die eigentlich nach Reglement von den Vormietern hätten mitgenommen werden sollen. Wir haben unsere eigenen Sachen benutzt und die Vorgefundenen wieder wie zuvor hingestellt. Aber sonst jedenfalls empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank.

Charming Villa!
We had a wonderful time in Muralto. The kitchen was well equipped and the home was beautiful and spacious, with plenty of room to relax indoors and outdoors. We especially appreciated that it was nice and cool when we walked in from the summer heat! Great location, close to public transit, grocery stores, bakeries, and the lake. Check-in and check-out were smooth.

Super schönes Haus mit viel Platz drinnen wie draussen. Das Haus ist benstens ausgerüstet. Die Lage ideal nahe dem Zentrum von Locarno und den Restaurants am See. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Tolle Lage
Wir waren mit Kindern im Alter von 4 und 6 Jahren in der Unterkunft und können es nur empfehlen. Viel Platz, wunderschöner Balkon mit Lounge und Blick auf den See, heller Wintergarten, Grill für am Abend. Einig der Verkehr hört man in einen Schlafzimmern ein wenig. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

Perfekt für eine Großfamilie
Wir haben eine Woche lang die Vorzüge der Unterkunft genossen. Sowohl die Lage als auch die Ausstattung der Villa war super! Es ist von Allem genug vorhanden, Grundlagen an Gewürzen und ausreichend Geschirr, Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Der Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer und dem Hausmeister war sehr angenehm. Alles war für uns vorbereitet und man bekommt zum Antritt der Reise eine detaillierte Info-Broschüre über die Villa und der Umgebung. Perfekt vorbereiten! Wir können es nur weiter empfehlen.

Perfektes Haus für Familienferien
Wir haben uns in dieser altehrwürdigen, grosszügig und zweckmässig eingerichteten Villa mit Garten sehr wohl gefühlt! Auch die Lage in der Nähe von See und Bahnhof haben wir sehr geschätzt. Es war für gross und klein eine perfekte Woche. Vielen Dank! Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

Sehr schönes, grosses Objekt mit viel Platz! Wir haben die Terrasse auch intensiv genutzt (auch bis Mitternacht) - was bei einem Nachbarn nicht auf Gegenliebe gestossen ist (der nächste Wohnblock ist sehr nahe). Wir haben uns dann bemüht, ruhiger zu sprechen...

Wir haben das Auto die ganze Zeit nie gebraucht, alles ist zu Fuss erreichbar!
Es ist ein sehr altes Haus und deshalb auch sehr ringhörig! Aber genügend Platz und Sanitäre Anlagen. Geeigneter für Kinder welche schon selbst Treppen steigen können! Unser kleinster hat erst die ersten Schritte gemacht, und Treppe hoch war kein Problem aber runter…

Urlaub in der Villa
Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Die Villa war für unsere 6-Köpfige Familie sehr gross, in Anbetracht, dass wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren. Dafür war es ein spezielles Ambiente. Abwicklung war sehr unkompliziert und einfach, hat alles super geklappt.

Prächtige Villa, wie aufgrund der Fotos und dem Beschrieb erwartet. An eher verkehrsreicher, aber sehr guter Lage, paar Minuten vom See entfernt. Küche eher klein, dafür 2 Wohnzimmer, Balkon und Terrassen und v.a. wunderbarem Wintergarten.

Viel Platz und Regen im schönen Tessin
Trotz viel viel Regen und häufigen Gewittern, haben wir wunderbare Ferien in der Villa Locarno verbracht. Die grosszügigen altehrwürdigen Räume und die zentrale Lage überzeugen. Besonders gut gefallen haben uns die Fenster mit den alten Beschlägen, die man leider nur noch selten sieht. Wenn es sich einrichten lässt, kommen wir gerne wieder. Besten Dank.

tolle alte Villa, gute Lage
grosszügige Villa, vielfältige hohe Räume, tolle Aussenflächen, sehr geräumig. Keine Klimaanlage … knarzende, alte, wunderschöne Fussböden. Gutes WLAN. Tolle Bilder an den Wänden. Lage perfekt, allenfalls etwas Verkehr zu hören (kein Problem).

Wunderschöne Villa
Die Kommunikation mit Herr Bruderer war immer sehr klar und verständlich und er beantwortete Fragen vor und während des Aufenthaltes sofort, was dazu beitrug, dass wir eine super Woche hatten. Die Villa ist genauso wie beschrieben und wie auf den Fotos sichtbar, sehr schön und praktisch eingerichtet, ideal auch mit kleineren Kindern. (Wickeltisch, Babybett) Die Villa ist wirklich sehr grosszügig geschnitten und wir hatten mit 4 Familienpartien immer genug Rückzugsmöglichkeiten. Sie war bei Ankunft sauber und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. (Genügend Geschirr, Besteck etc.) Der Garten rund ums Haus erschien mir grösser als auf den Fotos. Die Garage und der Parkplatz davor hatten gut gereicht mit zwei grossen Autos und einem Mini Van, das hat mich überrascht und war sehr praktisch. Desshalb empfehlen wir die Villa unseren Freunden weiter und würden sie ohne lang zu überlegen auch wieder buchen.

Schöne Villa an top Lage
Wir (6 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder) haben eine schöne und erholsame Woche im Haus verbracht. Es ist alles vorhanden um mal einen gemütlichen Abend auf der Terasse zuhause zu verbringen, will man aber eher das Nachtleben in Locarno geniessen ist dies Dank der guten Lage auch einladend (15 min zu Fuss). Gerne Wieder.
