3 bedroom cabin with spectacular mountain and downtown Gatlinburg views!

Bear View is perfectly located just minutes from the action of downtown Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Our guests observe stunning views of downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park while enjoying all the comforts of home.

The cabin is conveniently located in close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and all of the major attractions of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville; less than 10 minutes from restaurants, rides, shops, colorful fountains, a ferris wheel, and live music at newest attraction center, The Island in Pigeon Forge. Just a couple of miles from the cabin and you’re right in the heart of the attractions, entertainment, shopping, and a wide range of dining selections on the main parkway in Gatlinburg. The Pigeon Forge parkway is just 20 minutes from the cabin and offers fun for all ages with go-carting, in-door laser tag, and video gaming arcades for the kids; and tons of shops offering quilts, antiques, and a wide range of local shops with arts, crafts, and collectibles that make the days long and the stories even better. When evening falls, there are numerous options for entertainment from musicals, to magic, to shindigs and down home country fun

Cabin Layout & Comforts With 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths, three levels, and an open main floor layout, Bear View cabin will comfortably accommodate the entire family. Each of the 3 levels provides you with options to meet the wishes of everyone in your family. Vaulted ceilings in the living room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen. King bedroom suite on the main entry level. Queen bedroom suite upstairs and a queen bedroom suite on the lower level. Hot tub is located on the lower level deck.

Upstairs is a large open loft area with a recreation room with a pool table that yields views that offer numerous distractions to the game. . The cabin is Wi-Fi enabled throughout, so bring your laptop and you can stay “connected”, if the urge hits you.

Roads are paved and well maintained to the cabin however we are in the mountains and in the event of snow you will need a 4 wheel drive.

AMAZING VIEW of Gatlinburg

The view is worth every bit!! It is indescribable!! We loved the house it was perfect for our older kids and us to have our own bedroom space but be together for other times. Great location to the park and other attractions! “Easy” to get to from the parkway! We would definitely stay again!

Great retreat

A great house with a beautiful view of the smoky mountains.Very specious with a pool table and a jacuzzi.Definitely recommended for those who want a quiet place close to the park.

Great weekend getaway spot!

The cabin was clean and just like pictures! We enjoyed our stay. It is a quick trip to downtown Gatlinburg and easy drive. We stayed in one night and the local pizza restaurant delivered to us. Definitely recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay at BearView. There were beautiful views, and more bear sightings than my husband appreciated. Rebecca was quick to respond to my queries, and quickly solved the minor problem we had with the wi-fi. It was a lovely stay.

Great place! i

This is a great place with perfect views! The place ws very clean! The place was spectacular with cleanliness! The fire places wouldnt start at first, messaged them and they answered even offering to send the matnice tech out in the am, but we were able to fix it. The piolet light was out and we lit them and it worked the entire time! Hot tubs was nice!they do leave 2 rolls of toliet paper and 2 garbage bags any more, u need to supply your own. The kitchen has everything u need There are even a few storage containers for left overs! There is a keurig coffe pot and pot duo. Dishwasher worked great! We LOVED having the main level porch screened in for bugs! We wished the hot tub porch was screened in! Haa. We did see 3 bears. 1 climbed the tree outside the porch! We did hear a mouse in the badement wall, but never seen any. PARKING was the only problem we had. We had a Toyota Hylander and RAV4. Parking so so tight anything bigger would not fit at all. We had to play musical cars the entire time. And people had to get out of the cars to guide us to park. We were not aware of this before we got there. U are parallel parking next to the fences. It will not fit more than 2 smaller cars. We would not have been able to fit 2 suvs at all. Other than that we loved this place! And the owners are very very responsive and nice and helpful! 10 mins from downtown!

Amazing view

Amazing view of Gatlinburg! We enjoyed the house and loved the balcony and pool table. The road to the house made me nervous but it was worth it. We would definitely stay here again. it.

Great home and view!

This home was perfect for our family of four, and the view of Gatlinburg was beautiful! With three floors we could spread out and have our own spaces. The teens enjoyed the pool table while we really liked the screened in porch. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub but it looked nice and clean. The home was about a 7-8 minute drive up from Gatlinburg which made it perfect for access to the town as well as the National Park. The owner was super responsive. Would stay again!

Bear View

Bear View is an excellent choice if you want to be near the parkway in gatlinburg but far enough to have peace and quiet. We enjoyed our visit and in fact got to see a few bears near the house! The view was lovely from the back deck.

Comfort and Spectacular Views

Overall a great experience. The house was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the screened-in deck and spent a lot of time admiring the fantastic views. The kitchen was well stocked which was helpful as we made dinner at the house every night. It may be helpful to bring along an extra roll of paper towels, maybe some napkins, and a box of tissues. The road to the house was a little scary as we rarely drive in the mountains, but we got used to it after a couple of trips. Parking in front of the house was adequate for our large SUV. We used the beautiful pool at one of the clubhouses one evening and were treated to a visit by a young bear. He scared off easily and was fun to see. Also had an encounter with two large bears on the road in front of the house as were were packing up to leave. Suggestion ... be sure to close the back of your vehicle as you're loading. You may have a friend who is interested in what's inside! We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay here again.

Overall was amazing. Didn’t have issues with the property but do wish the cookware was a little more updated but nothing that caused any issues. The view was absolutely spectacular and had a bear visit us one morning. Not far from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.

Bear View did not disappoint

I admit that I fudged my travel budget just a little bit to book this property. It was worth every cent. This trip was a first to east Tennessee for our boys and the location was just perfect. Views unparalleled. There was plenty of room for the family to spread out and we enjoyed the convenience of having space and basic utensils to prepare some of our meals in the house. We enjoyed the use of the hot tub most evenings.

Family trip

Three brothers and their wife’s traveled from Oklahoma and Colorado for the Gathier Family Fest! Great time and a comfortable cabin! The road to the Cabin was a little “exciting” with the steep hills and curves but after the first trip up, it was fine. We saw 4 bears which was entertaining! The host was great to communicate with and we enjoyed their retreat. Thanks!

Spectacular Views

So glad we picked this property for our Gatlinburg vacation! The weather was rainy/stormy the entire week, which limited our excursions into town, but fortunately we enjoyed the deck & views so much that we don’t feel like we missed anything. The drive up the mountain is a little nerve-wracking for us flat-landers (narrow & steep) but we did get somewhat used to it by the end of the trip! And bears!! We saw bears right in the back yard every day for 5 days, such an amazing experience. We even had a bear crash our good-bye hugs at the bottom of the mountain! :) All in all, an unforgettable trip.

Amazing view.

Wonderful stay and comfortable. There back screened in porch allowed amazing views. Had plenty of hot water for our family and long showers. We would’ve welcomed instructions for the tv/cable. Kind of wish we’d had 4-drive, especially if roads had been wet at all on those step inclines. Thank you for sharing your home. Only ways to improve our stay might’ve been more silverware, a ceiling fan that operated in the main level bedroom (bring a fan with you if you like air movement). The basement ceiling fan only operated when other room lights were on, which is minor, but worth noting. But none of that hindered our amazing weekend. :) Oh and we DID see bears in the neighborhood. It was exciting!

70th Birthday Celebration

We went to Gatlinburg with 4 of our best friends. The cabin was really nice. At first the drive up and down the mountain was a little dicey but you soon get used to it. The views were amazing. Everything you need was provided. It was peaceful and calming. Management, especially Rebecca, were very accommodating and very quick to respond. Bonus were the 4 bears that visited every morning, mama and her 3 cubs. Very close to town and the park. Would defineitly recommend.

Great time! Great view! It was nice getting in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The drive up the mountain was a bit of a nail biter but instead of the Gatlinburg bypass from Pidgeon Forge we went through Gatlinburg . We felt the drive up the mountain was easier and less treacherous turning by Ober Gatlinburg than the bypass.
