A true gem

The staff were incredible, the house was so unique and beautiful. We enjoyed the beautiful views and rustic setting, but with modern amenities. A great location to explore the east side of the park. We also enjoyed the steakhouse just down the street.

Private cabin in the woods

Lovely place in a secluded location. Somewhat of a drive to get there but for us it was great being closer to the eastern entrance of the park.

Breathtaking views

Pictures do not do the cabin or the area justice. Cabin was beyond perfect for our large blended family. Perfectly located directly in the center south point of the park allowing us to easily access both west and east sidesglacier. southern part of the park

Perfect location for Glacier Park

Our family had a hard time finding somewhere to stay to come to Glacier and we wanted to enjoy both sides but really didn’t want to split on each side and it was SO hard to find anything for 8 people! This was the nicest little cabin tucked away from Everything in a campground with beautiful views! You cannot see the campground RV park at all from cabin … you just check in there ! It was about 30 minutes to Two medicine(which was my kids favorite place ) and only about 40 minutes from west side ! It worked out great for us ! We visited every single entrance to the park from here on our 12 passenger spacious van and we didn’t mind the driving as scenery was gorgeous every single drive you take !! You could also see the train every day on the mountain going by from your window view which kids loved also :) Would definitely recommend for families visiting Glacier National Park

A Magnificent Mountain Retreat

In a word: Perfect. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The management team at check-in was friendly and answered all our questions. Upon entering the home we felt that the photos did not do justice to the actual property. It was larger than expected with plenty of places to sit and relax. The kitchen is possibly the highlight. A very large, well designed layout, with room for 10 people to eat and interact comfortably. The large laundry room is a bonus with space to store coolers or extra luggage. We found the beds to be very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. We were too busy to try the entertainment center and TV, but they are available for the guests that may have time. The outdoor patio affords a fantastic view of the valley and is perfect for grilling and entertaining. A friendly ground squirrel participated in every meal. The roads leading to both West and East Glacier are extremely well built and maintained. Driving to and from the Park each day was a pleasure and took less travel time than we thought. Every bend of the road revealed another breathtaking view of the mountains, lakes, and valleys that make this part of Montana a "must-see" destination. There is a nice circular driveway at the house. From the RV park you cannot see the home, and from the home you cannot see the RV park. It's perfectly secluded. If you are seeking the ultimate base of operations for a multi-day vacation on the outskirts of the Park - you just found it!

Glacier Half Marathon

The house is amazing. The accommodations are amazing. Everyone was so friendly from Elizabeth at the front gate and Linda who made sure the house was in order. We sincerely appreciate everything about the house. I would highly recommend taking advantage of being in nature. One word of caution, get your groceries and supplies in order and bring them with you. The nearest large store is in Browning, about 30 miles away.

Wonderful Property, Relaxing and Close to Park

This gorgeous cabin is located at the back of an RV park, very secluded and with a lovely Mountain View off the back porch. It’s spacious, comfortable, the slightest bit dated but very cozy and extremely well appointed and stocked with everything you’d need. Messages with the host were just a bit unhelpful leading up to our trip, but once there the support was exquisite. The east side of the park has very few affordable or good places to stay, but this certainly is a great property and is located 30 mins from Two Medicine entrance, and about an hour from West Glacier, St Mary and Many Glacier entrances. Drives are beautiful. We really enjoyed staying at this place and certainly recommend it — lots of comfy beds, storage space, and lovely spots to enjoy the surrounding area. We are grateful for the stay here and hope to return one day. Thank you!

Glacier Montana cabin

A lovely property, as cozy as advertised. The only issue we encountered (unforeseen weather related) required just one text, response within 5 minutes and was dealt with swiftly. Customer service and friendliness was outstanding. Thanks for letting us stay at your lovely property!

Great location for Glacier vacation

The home was spacious, clean, and exactly what we needed for our extended family vacation with 9 people. Had all amenities we needed and extensive kitchen which we used daily. Location was great to visit both sides of the park, with us preferring the east side for less crowds and great shuttle service. Quiet, secluded, and would recommend!

Successful Friends Trip !

Cabin was clean and amazing. Staff at the campground were SO friendly and helpful. Although it is located on a campground you fell so secluded. Was a little disappointed with the bedroom situation. The bunk room is not actually a room but a hallway to both upstarts bedrooms. All three rooms upstairs are connected and you can walk in a circle. Not a lot of privacy for the couples that stayed up there, but we did not spend a lot of time in our rooms anyway. Overall a great experience and a lovely stay. Just think the room layout should've been a little more clear.

Hank and Roxy Zomer live in Conrad, Montana located 100 miles to the southeast of Glacier National Park on the agriculture plains. Roxy Zomer is a native of Montana, born and raised in Conrad. Hank Zomer was born in South Dakota and has lived in Montana all of his adult life. Hank and Roxy are the owners and operators of Zomer Truck Sales, a retail semi truck sales business in Conrad, Montana, The Zomers have been married for 38 years. They have 3 children, Crystal, Kelsey, and Austin. This family photo was taken in the front yard of our mountain property.

Why they chose this property

The Zomer family has alway enjoyed the Glacier Park area as a retreat from their busy family routine throughout the years. They have spent their annual summer vacations doing water sports on the area lakes and touring Glacier National Park with their Harley Davidson. In winter months, the Zomer family loves to snow ski and snowmobile in the local area. In 2004 the Zomers had the unique opportunity to purchase this prime piece of real estate consisting of 58 acres of private land nestled between Glacier National park and the US Forest Service. Also included on our property is Glacier Meadow RV Park. The RV park is located down in the meadow closer to the highway. The RV park consists of 45 RV and tent sites along with a shower house, laundry, basketball court, shuffleboard, playground and large pavilion with fireplace. The log home is located on the highest point of our property 1000 feet away from the rv park in a private and secluded area overlooking the meadow. You are sure to find privacy, peace and quiet here to enjoy the scenic views that dominate our property. Since we personally use our place more often in the winter months to partake in snow sports, we have decided to share our wonderful setting with summer guests in the years ahead. We know you will enjoy it as much as we have.

What makes this property unique

We can never seem to get enough of the beautiful veiws and scenery that surrounds this secluded mountain log home along with its peaceful atmosphere. It is our belief you will agree.
