Perfect little spot!

Everything was great! Plenty of room for our two dogs to run around. Really close to Asheville and lots of great places to eat. Communication was seamless. Highly recommend!

Yellow Country Cottage

Good afternoon Jeff & Karen! We throughly enjoyed our recent stay (3/16-3/21) in your very cozy country cottage in Alexander,NC. Thnx for allowing us to stay there. We were quite content to stay put & relax but we did venture out & visited the birthplace of Zebulon Vance (no relation to our current VP)Who became a NC Gov & Senator. & we also experienced the delicious delights @ Well Bred Bakery in Weaverville! Yummy! The weather varied to about 30 deg overnight & 50-75deg for daytime. The cottage was well stocked w/kitchen utensils (alittle more counter space for meal prep would be helpful; maybe a portable island, just a thot)Our dog Shadow (an 8yo golden) loved running around in the fenced in yard & gave us peace of mind that she was safe. We had an enjoyable time!

We absolutely love this property. It is always exceptionally clean and well stocked. The communication is great and the Harding's are so welcoming and easy to work with. We can't wait for another weekend getaway ti visit again.

Grandkids Christmas

This is our 2nd stay and we look forward to staying again. We took our 2 granddaughters to go snow tubing and spend the weekend in the mountains. There was a little snow and the temperatures dropped to the 20's, but the house was warm and cozy when we arrived. The area is beautiful and the house and the hosts are wonderful to work with.

We love staying here! The house is clean, well-equipped, the hosts are easy to communicate with, and we love the fenced in yard for our dogs. Close to Weaverville but still very private. Highly recommend!

Peaceful- will be back!!

We had such a relaxing stay. The pictures do not do the space or view justice. Our pups had so much fun running in the vast yard. The porch was so spacious and relaxing. We had to do some remote work and the internet worked beautifully. Jef and Karen were kind and thoughtful hosts. It felt like staying with family!

We've stayed here multiple times. We love the fenced yard for our dog, wrap-around porch, and proximity to Weaverville and Asheville. Host is very responsive to questions or concerns via text.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The layout of the home is perfect to share with friends. We loved the front porch and spent most of our evenings out there. It wasnt too tricky to find although both our friends and i pulled up the wrong driveway the first try. We would definitely atay here again!

Grandparent/Grandchild weekend

We take our grandchildren to the mountains every year for a weekend getaway. This year we were super lucky to come across this listing. The house was the perfect size for our 2 adults and 3 grandchildren and dogs. The location was private and quiet and the fenced yard made for great playtime with the kids and dogs. My husband and i are already planning another trip, just for us.

Amazing Stay as Always

This is our third or fourth time staying and as always it was amazing! Close enough to get to anything you need, amazing views, and super clean! The yard and porch are large and wonderful especially when we bring the dogs. They love sitting on the porch and running in the fully fenced yard.

Loved our stay here! The charm of the home was lovely. Old home with some antiques endeared us to this place. It was like being at grandmas but with “today’s” conveniences. Pet friendly was a plus. Our Toy poodle enjoyed his stay as well. We will stay here again and have recommended it to our out of town family. The Hardings were prompt to reply to all our questions. Great hosts!

This house was PERFECT!! We had views, and this location was perfect. We ventured in so many different directions and got to explore so many things. My ouply loved running around the yard. Such a beautiful place to rest and enjoy the Mountains

We would highly recommend this house for your next trip to the mountains. The house is so clean and cozy. The directions and proximity to everything was so convenient and yet we melted into that porch and view every morning and afternoon with our coffee. We used the grill to cook steaks, we made a bonfire and had smores! Everything was just what we needed. Thanks again!

We were traveling to Asheville to visit the UNC-Asheville Campus. This property was absolutely perfect for us. Our party consisted of four adults. Everyone was comfortable in their own room. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit and I specifically enjoyed the hot water and fantastic water pressure in the shower. We would definitely book again when we are back for UNC-Asheville move in.
