Needs improved photos/description
Communication with the rental property management was excellent. They were friendly and easily reachable. However, the property was disappointing in comparison to the listing. The photos have either not been updated for awhile or they were digitally enhanced. From the listing, the property seemed as though it would be more secluded than it was. The listing should reflect that the property is semi-secluded
We had a wonderful stay! Perfect location, close to stores, the smokies, museums, anything you could ask for! Beautiful scenery and nice hot tub! If I could change anything it would be the hot tub on the back deck instead of the front, and there is an animal in the walls upstairs even though you don’t see it sometimes it’ll wake you up in the morning. Otherwise this place was amazing and we would go back!!!
Couch could be replaced and water from tap was clean and dirty off and on for my whole trip. Other than those things the cabin is great and as advertised.
The property is just what we were looking for. A quiet place without the hustle and noise of the town but yet was only a short drive to the sites and for my wife shopping.

The cabin was perfect for us.The cabin was clean and had everything we wanted in a cabin.i would definitely stay again.
It was a very much needed time away to just relax and enjoy natures the mountains scenery. We will for sure be back to this cabin perfect for just the 2 of us. Relaxing in the hot tub and sitting on the back porch on the slider swing. Hoping to return after harvest time. I know my husband will be so ready for another peaceful break.

Had a good time in the cabin. Only drawbacks were the fridge never got cold and the water smelled really bad. Other than that had a good stay.

We loved this cabin and its location. Feels very secluded even though its is conveniently close to attractions. Staff was very friendly and professional. It was not as clean as we would like and not enough hot water to enjoy Jacuzzi tub.

I have stayed in over a dozen cabins in the area. This has by far been the best! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I was amazed at the cleanliness for the cabin! There was no dust on anything including the cabinet tops! Very well equipped! We will definitely continue to use Aunt Bugs for all future rentals!
The cabin was clean and as advertised. The king bed is in desperate need of being replaced. The mattress is well past its prime. We left with sore backs. The tv in the master is the size of a computer monitor. For the rate of the cabin, I would have expected a bigger tv. If not upgraded, I’d remove it. The couch is falling in and springs appear to have been broken. The cabin is cute and great location, just needs some updated furniture.

Reviewer Comments:
Great location, very quiet and private. Unfortunately, the cabin doesn't seem to get the love from the owners that it needs to keep it up with other rentals. The home has just enough to get by with, bare minimums, mix match everything in the kitchen, noisiest bed you will ever sleep in ect,etc.. Sorry to give a bad review but just maybe it will wake the owners up and they ill give the cabin all the upgrades it needs.

Reviewer Comments:
Bed was horrible, water pressure was very low! Unit nor clean, dusty, had to go to Hospital in the middle of the night for a breathing treatment and Prednisone shot due to the dust and musky odor! Office staff very unprofessional and didn't want to hear or do anything about our complaints! Never rent from Aunt Bug's! Been to Mountains many, many times and stayed in many cabins, worst experience ever!
Overall we really enjoyed this cabin. A few things that did not meet my expectations but it's not a big deal. The king bed was extremely uncomfortable we went and bought a foam mattress to put on top just to be comfortable and sleep for the next 5 days. The kitchen wasn't equipped with all the cooking needs. There's no casserole dish and there's only one knife to use that's very dull. I couldn't even cut a onion with it. One of the can opener is broken the other one is cheap and weak. There's no kitchen towels...just saying because I'm use to other rentals having them. The pull out bed was also very uncomfortable that my son didn't sleep on it he just slept on the sofa. The hot tub is great but it is really small for only two people. There's was a tiny TV in the bedroom that we didn't use because it didn't work. No iron board but there's a iron.

Only cabin we could find on short notice but wouldn't stay here again.
First of all I never received the information via email or text to check in and had to call twice to get the codes and wi-fi passwords.
We were so looking forward to the hot tub as we had spend the past several days hiking and only half of the hot tub worked. Called about it and they were going to send someone. Came back before dinner, checked the hot tub and still now working right. Called again and they said their person had been there and reported it was working. Said they would send them back out. Got back from dinner and this time there was a note on the door saying they had been there. 3/4 of the hot tub was now working. As it's a small 2 person hot tub, you really can't afford for 1/4 of the jets to not work.
The mattress is very broken down and needs to be replaced. Had a back ache every morning from it. They only supplied 4 towels, 3 wash cloths & 2 hand towels. With a hot tub, jacuzzi tub and taking showers, could have used a couple more towels. I don't have a problem re-using my towels, but I don't like to use a wet towel. In addition one of the towels was stained. They could have supplied single use package of laundry detergent.
Cleanliness: The floors were sticky and our feet and socks were black from walking around the cabin without our shoes on. Quite a few spiders and cobwebs inside and outside. They could at least knock the cobwebs down from time to time. The carpet in the bedroom had some hard spots that felt like something hot had melted it.
Lastly, the coffee table base is broken so that the glass top wobbles and doesn't sit straight.
I've paid less for better appointed cabins before. Unfortunately it was a last minute decision to stay in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area on a busy weekend and this was all we could find at late notice.
Cabin was nice. Location was ok. Easy to get to. Not far from things to do but out far enough that you could enjoy the quietness. Hot tub at this cabin could have been cleaner.
Nice cozy cabin. Cost more than others I’ve been to. Very clean, secluded, but convenient. Very easy check in and check out. The hot tub is very small and it needs better lighting in the bathroom , but everything else was wonderful! We had a nice time. Thank you.
Nice little cabin perfect for myself, wife and small son. Very quiet and cabin was great. Bed could use some attention as that it make noise everything you move and I seemed to toss and turn over a lot during the night. Loved everything else about it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet spot.
We had a terrific time for our vacation. The cabin was clean, equipped with everything we needed. Perfect location, very private yet close to everything. Thanks so much we will definitely be back.
We enjoyed the location of this property as a left took us directly into sevierville and a right took us to pigeon forge/gatlinburg. The back deck with the hot tub was a nice space to feel safe and relax as it’s high above the ground. However, a large raccoon did crawl up and make an appearance twice during our stay, since that is where the “bear proof” trash can is.
Upon arrival, we noticed many down VA Pine trees, some of which blocked/misconstrued our long driveway, especially at night when we arrived. Even the mailbox had been knocked down. Otherwise, we enjoyed nesting in the woods, but we suggest having some sort of alarm system that alerts you as someone is coming down our driveway so those that are staying are not alarmed to look out the window and see a random car. This happened to us 4 times during our stay, all had to back all the way up and seemed to be tourists as well. In regards to the outdoor space, I enjoyed the pines and conifers which allowed me to see Cedar Waxwings (I’ve never seen before). However, the Japanese honeysuckle is quickly overtaking and will kill/strangle out many of these beautiful trees. Please look into eradicating (it’s very easy to pull or treat with specific herbicide) and also clearing some trees in the back for a little more room- I can’t imagine how grown up it would’ve been during the summer...
The alarm system to the house was annoying when we first got there, but we realized it was low on batteries and just took them out (we were told this was okay) and that fixed the beeping. Contactless entry and exit was awesome! Thank you for a beautiful place to stay.
