VRBO Pacific Beach

Could use more towels and washcloths. Also, would think about getting higher toilets in bathrooms for elderly tenants. Otherwise, the condo was great and views fantastic. Since there were 4 adults the first week and 5 adults the second week we feel more towels and wash cloths would have been nice. Also, I couldn’t find any pot holders. Higher toilets are a must. . Otherwise, it was a great time that was had by all.

Perfect location for a Holiday vacation

We were happy to find a great unit right on the boardwalk during the holidays. It was quiet, clean, and secure. Location was perfect and we could walk to everything. John was wonderful to work with and added a touch of holiday cheer. The unit had everything we could possible need - all we added were groceries. Lovely unit - would definitely stay there again!

Gorgeous Views

A perfect location, gorgeous views, and beautiful condo. Very clean and warm. My friends, husband and I had a fabulous time hanging out. Walks on the beach, close to restaurants and shops. A quieter part of PB but still full of life. John is a great owner/host and is very communicative. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Not as advertised

While the location (beachfront) may be be very desirable to some, this unit itself is not all it’s advertised to be. The building that it is located in is quite run down, including the common areas. The unit has had its updates, but the bathrooms were not overly clean. We’ve stayed at other VRBOs before, and I’m really unsure how this unit has 109 past reviews which all have rated it 5 stars. I’ve stayed in much better (modern, new) units before and those are a 5 star, but not this one. That is what had me fooled into booking it for 5 nights, but my family and I checked out of the unit after just one night even though it is non-refundable. I wrote to the host to let him know we checked out, and there was no response. The unit had recently cleaned carpets, which I appreciate, but it was over sprayed with Lysol and Febreeze which actually made me sick. I spoke with him before check in and followed all rules as per the instructional check in email, and he was kind on our initial and only phone call. But as soon as we told him we weren’t satisfied with the place, we were ghosted. We have taken pictures of the things that we weren’t happy with. If you’re into staying somewhere with good views, and over sprayed with chemicals then this is the place. Otherwise, spend your money elsewhere, and try to find something that is better.

Great place for a family

This place had it all! The views and access was everything we were looking for! Very quiet and quant! Everyone in the building was respectful. It was very nice to have all the beach items (chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and toys) available inside this unit. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone with a family.

Great room in a great location!

Nice and clean, amazing view, great location and easy to walk to all kinds of restaurants and bars, grocery store, CVS, pretty much whatever you need. All the windows in the living room made for a fantastic view of the ocean and beach.

Nice condo in a prime location

Unit was nice and in a prime location. Easy to walk to restaurants and grocery store. Be aware that many people hang out in front of condo so can be noisy at night.

Fabulous place!

If you have found this place on VRBO, just book it and stop searching for anything else! Great location! Pictures are exactly as is. Closet full of all the beach chairs, umbrella, toys, towels and boogie boards. Well stocked kitchen. We cooked most all of our meals. Grocery store about 2 blocks away. Great farmers market down the street on Tuesday afternoons. Just steps away from the beach so easy to walk in for lunch or bathroom breaks. Perfect location for kids. Safe gated parking garage and felt safe walking around with kids. Coffee and ice cream shop just out the door. We will stay here again when we are in San Diego next time.

Personal/Business

This was exactly what I needed. I had all windows open to hear the waves day and night. The condo does not have AC but the fans helped especially since it was not hot yet. The fans and vents need a good dusting but other than that, this place was perfect. The parking space was and fit my jeep with plenty of room to open doors. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook when I did not feel like ordering. There are TVs in every room but I rarely turned them on. I will definitely stay again.

Wonderful Pacific Beach Condo

This property is fantastic. The views from the living room and main bedroom are awesome! The kitchen is well stocked though we didn’t do any cooking. Little coffee shop just across the street and lots of restaurants and ice cream within walking distance. Loved that everything was codes and not keys. Dedicated parking spot in gated, covered garage was a huge plus. Check in process was super simple. We will definitely be back if we vacation in San Diego again.

Definitely recommend! Condo was very clean and welcoming. Great location which means popular location … so the dedicated parking garage spot was super convenient.
