Most likely you will have the place to yourself but we keep an upstairs bedroom & the garage for ourselves for when we are in town.
Neighborhood overview
This is a brand new neighborhood on the Northern edge of the Las Vegas Valley. Right off the freeway with a shopping center across the road (Target, Ross, Michaels, Gas .PANDA Express Mc Donalds. Home Depot, Staples and more). The Las Vegas Speedway hosts two NASCAR races a year and many events year round.
Getting around
This is just off of the 215 freeway and 4 miles from Interstate 15 on the Northern edge of Las Vegas. Surprisingly close to downtown and the strip. Two exits from Aliente Casino and about 10 miles from the Las Vegas Speedway.
Other things to note
You will have full use of kitchen, living room, patio, bathrooms and two of the bedrooms (one up one downstairs). One of the bedrooms upstairs is locked and off limits as is the garage. Public Transportation is surprisingly simple and inexpensive but you will have to walk about 4 or 5 blocks when you get to the stop for the house in Shopping Center across from the house. From McCarran Airport you have to go to Terminal 1, ground level (below baggage claim). RTC buses depart regularly from the bus stop (walk to the right when you go outside). You will need to study the transit map and schedule for yourself to be sure that when your flight arrives there will be service. In general you would take the 109 N to the downtown bus terminal and then catch the 105 to a North 5th stop at Deer Springs Mall. After getting off the bus at the mall cross N. 5th at Dorrell (west) about a block to the entry gate then follow the instructions for getting to the house. The code for the pedestrian gate: Press 2 & 4 at same time then press 3 OR use the car gate code of# 1981. NOTE: YOU NEED THREE SINGLE DOLLAR BILLS they don't make change.
