Great place in South Dennis!

The house was well represented on the listing and had all of the amenities necessary to ensure our stay (part working vacation but all fun!) had everything we needed for work and relaxation time. This is a great location with many nearby beaches, great restaurants, interesting and safe walking paths and a nearby park for basketball. With a short trip to the grocery stores it was perfectly situated for last-minute decisions to grill at the house as well. We will definitely be back again.

Cape Getaway

Property manager Never told us where the key was, bed broke, grill was filthy, beds were not made, wood for fire pit was huge. Owner did come over to fix bed and brought fire pit wood and was very accommodating but property manager made me feel like the bed was our fault when you could clearly see it was not.

Charming house near Corporation Beach

The house was inviting and well decorated. Great backyard and grill. The fire pit was amazing and nice spot to spend time with friends. The kitchen and the living room areas were well equipped. Before booking the house it would have been nice to had been made aware of certain structural characteristics. Bedrooms were close to each other and the walls were thin. The floors were dusty/sandy as if they hadn't been cleaned prior to our arrival. Make sure to get your own sheets, pillow cases, towels and toiletries (body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper etc) as they don't provide those. There's no entertainment like DVDs, Netflix or board games but just basic cable.

Our stay

Loved the house and location! The bathrooms could use an update but everything else was nicely updated. The only issue I had was with the guest contact Jeneen. She was less than helpful answering my questions prior to our stay and was rude when responding to my emails. I did get in touch with a rep from evolve (Peter) and the homeowner and they were great and able to help answer all of my questions. I gave cleanliness 3 stars because I have an 11 month old who is crawling and he picked up a ton of hair and dirt from the floor within the first hour we were there. I ended up having to mop and sweep the floor the first night. Other than that the neighborhood and property were really nice and we enjoyed our stay!

Comfortable house in central Dennis with short drive to both North and South Beaches

This property is managed by Evolve. I reached out to them prior to renting regarding previous reviews that were not always favorable. They were responsive and assured me things would be in order, which they were. The house is located in a central part of Dennis not far from Police/Town Hall on 134. We have always rented within walking distance to beaches (Mayflower or West Dennis) and I was a little worried how it would be to drive. It was really ok. A very quick drive to either side. The house is located in a cute neighborhood and is very comfortable with a back porch, patio w gas grill, table and fire pit. Our Adult kids came and there was plenty of room to spread out. The house was clean and the towels and sheets provided were fine. (They did match and the beds were nicely made on arrival.) Overall the house worked out great for us! I’d like to mention that the property manager for evolve Janeen was excellent. The only problem we had was on arrival the trash was overflowing and out front in the driveway. I was worried that the neighbors were not going to be happy either because it was quite unattractive and smelly….And there was only that one trash barrel available. Janeen called the company to come get it and when I let her know that they never came….she came herself to take it. I’m sure that’s not what she’s supposed to have to do! Janeen was awesome and is a a credit to that evolve team! A suggestion: I would suggest that the homeowners contract to have the trash picked up x2 per week in the summer like most other rentals we have had so Janeen isn’t stuck dealing w that! Thank you Janeen!

Not the best housekeeping

Nice house and neighborhood. Not clean. Kitchen sink and stove dirty, Piles of dust and empty water bottle under one bed, mismatched sheets in random closets, not enough bedspreads for all the beds and only 1 blanket in the house. Some of the towels in closet were stained with black markings. No bathmats or rugs. Photos deceiving as one bedroom showed a double bed but had been changed to a bunk when we arrived. Hot water was iffy. Usually only tepid for showers. Fridge water and ice not working.

We had a great week at this property! We had grandparents and small children and the location was great! There were air conditioners set up in the house and an awesome porch! I would definitely stay here again!

Great space - house is tired

COVID-19 Stay: This property in Dennis is conveniently located with shops, restaurants, and beaches all a short drive. The house had a few things not in the description - window ACs were installed and the bedroom with a full-size bed also had a twin bunkbed on top. I suggested the listing is updated to reflect this. The house unfortunately did not meet cleanliness standards. Upon arrival, I had to spend over an hour cleaning - there were dead bugs in multiple rooms, the kitchen floor had not been mopped, couches and chairs had large stains, etc. Given the public health situation, I would expect a more thorough cleaning between renters.

Needing attention

House in nice quiet neighborhood and pretty good location, wish it was closer to beaches, but shopping center close . House is in need of some TLC! Nice outdoor shower, but outdoor chairs around fire pit and the cushions need to be replaced. I sat in one and thought I would hit the ground. House has a nice floor plan, was comfortable, but again could use some updates.

Nice house with a big yard!

My family and I enjoyed our trip to the Cape. This house was great, close to everything, Stores, Beaches, etc. We also had fun sitting around the fire pit on the cool nights.
