Perfect location. Quaint property in village setting with Fjord views
A great property to stay in for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Plenty of space and lots of little extra touches to provide a welcoming home from home feel.
Great views for the Fjord from the front of the property and lovely spot to sit and enjoy the sunshine. The waterfall into the village is very impressive after a rainy day or two!
Very quiet location, but a few minutes walk to 2 well stocked supermarket/shops for all grocery needs and more and a local restaurant (which we didn't try out as you food and drink is very expensive in Norway generally, eating out really impacts the budget) Great location if you plan to take the local ferry from Hellesylt to Geiranger and beyond (great way to see the Fjords). Would recommend driving Route 63 but not for the faint hearted, spectacular views. Some great walks directly from the property.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay in this lovely little property. We will most certainly be planning another trip to Norway as there is so much to see.
Would recommend the property and the area for exploring a bit away from the tourist crowds and always we prepared for some rain in Norway!
