Beautiful contemporary apartment directly located on the Elk River with water access to all points on the bay. The area is rich in fishing, crabbing and water sports with sailing, jet skiing, kayaking and motor boating as popular past times. Gorgeous views are breathtaking year round. Wineries and great restaurants near by. Minutes from I-95 and about 50 mins equal distance between Baltimore and Philadelphia Airport. Boating, hiking, camping, shopping, antiquing and a casino within 20 miles. There are state parks in every direction.
+There is a home above you which may be rented and with the potential for noise so please ask me about the renters above you. Occasionally I will be in the home above you when it's not rented. Water access or fire pit may be shared by those renters as well. You have your own patios and grill and privacy fence/shade. Entrances are monitored for your safety with security cameras. Please ask me about details if needed.

Beautiful little oasis

We absolutely loved our stay in Elkton. Beautiful views of the water and very quiet and tranquil. The apartment was clean, very nicely set up, and had everything we needed.

Beautiful View

This property was perfect for a couple getaway. Beautiful view, and just steps to the river. The host, Cindy was very helpful and accommodating. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay and getaway.

Perfect waterside retreat

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Cindy’s property. It was a perfect retreat for a few days on the water. Her home is quiet and the yard and patio spaces are particularly great. There are many outdoor spaces to sit, have a cup of coffee, curl up and enjoy a book or unwind with a glass of wine. Nearby Chesapeake City had some great dinner options in a cute town and we enjoyed exploring Elk Neck State Park for a nature walk and the beach. It was an added bonus we could bring our dog! Although the property is a private access ground level (seperate space)- there is house upstairs. We, however did not see or hear anyone else during our stay. Highly recommend!

Wonderful property!

We enjoyed our stay on the Elk River! Property is just as advertised, including being situated right on the river with a gorgeous view from every room in the apartment. The yard facing the river is beautiful, with a fire pit and a few benches, the perfect place to sit and watch the water. Everything was clean and we had everything we needed, very well appointed. Quiet, lovely bedroom. We hope to visit again.

Much needed break from the chaos

I knew i would love this place from the pictures. Everything was clean and tidy. And i felt right at home as soon as i walked in. My family and i were staying while transitioning between homes and it definitely made our temporary displacement not such an inconvenience for a few days. Our host was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I will definitely keep this place at the top of my list if i ever want to get away without having to go too far away. Thanks again for a wonderful week.

A special birthday

Back on the East coast after years out West. 2 nights by the water in absolute comfort. We enjoyed the beautiful grounds and loved sitting by the water watching the sunset. The luxury apartment felt like home. It is so thoughtfully designed and beautifully decorated. The host was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. It was a fabulous birthday getaway. Highly recommend!

Just What the Dr. Ordered

After my husband ran for political office & won, we needed relaxing alone time. This was the perfect property for that. Quiet neighborhood on the Chesapeake Bay. Beautiful views from every window. Outdoor areas that were a delight even in chilling temperatures. The decor was lovely and peaceful vibe. Extremely clean. Pet friendly, so our Shelty got to enjoy some time away with us. Near Chesapeake City and Elkton, MD. Two beautiful historic towns and gave us fun places to hang out. The host was available when I needed help with the fire pit. I can not say enough.

Beautiful getaway on the river

The home is beautifully maintained and appears newly renovated with a lot of creativity put into the design. It was very comfortable and definitely a place where you could just enjoy relaxing on the property overlooking the river. I had activities planned all day offsite but would come back and just enjoy relaxing/cooking out on the lawn/patio sometime soon.

Amazing getaway!

We stayed for the weekend because we were going to the University of Delaware football game and we were too late to get a hotel in town. So happy for that circumstance. This place is a gem. Right on the water with so much to offer, fire pit, gazebo, grill and so comfortable inside. Our daughter stayed with us for one of the nights and the sofa bed was very comfortable. The sunset was incredible. We will definitely be back!

Loved my stay

Super clean, incredible views, very quiet and peaceful. Just what I needed to get away. I sat in the backyard a lot and just looked at the water and the sky. The backyard faces west and the sun sets were gorgeous. I loved it there. Will definitely return someday.

Weekend Getaway

Property is beautiful, clean, cozy and comfortable. It has everything we needed and we only need to bring personal items. It is a quiet area and located close to many good restaurants. There is plenty to do in the area and Cindy's property was a welcome retreat at the end of a busy day of exploring. We look forward to returning again.

Peaceful Get-Away To Water

Enjoyable stay in a small but convenient apartment, that is right on the water. Great views and beautiful outdoor settings. Incredibly peaceful and quiet location. Apartment is relatively well appointed so we were able to grill and cook in one night. We were lacking some basic supplies like laundry and dish soap (there is no dishwasher and departure instructions ask that dishes be washed and put away, towels laundered but lacked supplies) Also no plastic wrap or foil. Host very responsive. One issue is the hot water. Read instructions carefully. There is an on-demand system that is hard to adjust and it’s awhile before hot water is available. Otherwise unit very comfortable. Slept well all nights.
