Go Glamping! Waterfront Lake Conroe, Luxury RV, just bring suitcase

Beautiful 2016 37-foot luxury RV (5th wheel floor plan in a travel trailer, so no steps inside the RV). RV has tons of upgrades including front loader washer and dryer, King size bed with memory foam topper, large closet, apartment size refrigerator/freezer, tabletop icemaker…with the good ice, single bed ottoman and sleeper sofa in the living room. Sleeps 5 total, 3 in the living room plus 2 in the bedroom. Big screen TV and bedroom TV, electric fire place, two recliners, Island kitchen with farmhouse sink. Also has 2 air-conditioners, a picnic table with large BBQ grill, and is set up in beautiful quiet spot overlooking the water. We also have tie-in generators if the power goes out, so is safe for those with medical needs for electricity. Minimum rental is one week. If you are new to RVing, when you rent we will come and show you how to use the RV. We have also included an induction cooktop, toaster oven, single cup Kurig-style coffee maker, silverware and kitchen utensils, pots and pans, dishes, even wine glasses. Crock pot, portable ice maker. Of course pillows, blankets, high end sheets, towels, all fresh and ready. Lot rental and electricity is included. RV may not be moved. We will consider longer rentals for short-term housing needs at a discounted price, however this is a vacation rental. Price is automatically generated by the website for monthly rate, and the amount is greatly reduced. just put in the dates you want to stay and it will calculate. Only about 20 minutes to the Woodlands Texas and 5 minutes to Conroe Texas. Very close to amazing shopping and restaurants. We love this RV, and we think you will too. Ever thought of downsizing into an RV or into a tiny house? This is your chance to give it a try and see how you would like it without making the big commitment. Just about everything you need is here, just bring your suitcase, food and drink. We will have a "welcome basket" with some goodies to get you started.

Our Stay

Great Hosts. But many maintenance issues. Roof leaks from hard rains. One burner on the cooking stove was not working. The oven on the stove was not working. The propane tanks ran out of propane twice. A constant beating of the roof cover tarp on the roof was quite annoying. Many of the LED lights flashed off and on until they warmed up. The hosts readily addressed these issues, but it was somewhat disappointing for us during our stay.

Great Location

I give this place and location 5?stars. The camper is extremely comfortable and stocked with anything you would ever need to live comfortably for extended stays. Cheryl and Wiody are more than gracious hosts. If you have any issues no matter how small they are extremely responsive.

Home Away From Home

From the beginning, Cheryl & Woody were more than welcoming. From the check-in instructions to the Welcome Basket, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We were on the property for almost two months while we were waiting for our house to be completed and it quickly became our home. I would recommend it for anyone looking for short or long term stays near Lake Conroe.

My daughter and I stayed in the adorable 5th wheel travel trailer while our house was being completed. Cheryl and Woody are lovely host and hostess. They allowed us to stay in their lovely Carriage House during the freeze. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They attached a ramp so me and our elder dog could get into the trailer easily. Thank you Cheryl and Woody for the great hospitality.

Cute and Quiet

1st experience with RV living and learned a lot. The rental was small but big enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 dogs, but would have been nice if there was a little fenced area outside for the pups. Also thought it would have been nice to have an actual staircase for the RV rather than having to use the attached steps. Other than those 2 things, I wouldn't change anything. Everything a traveler could possibly need, and more, was provided. The owners were more than gracious and even though they weren't around during our stay they made sure we were in good hands during their absence and I knew they were only a text/phone call away. I would stay again and would not hesitate to recommend. Thanks Cheryl and Woody!

Lakeside Living

Thanks for the stay! Cheryl and Woody were great host! They made sure my lengthy stay was the best it could be! After a little hiccup with things in the beginning with the faucets and AC issues, C&W were johnny on the spot with repairs within hours. They provided a portable AC unit for comfort until repairs were made the next day. I did not know what to expect from RV living. Never stayed in a RV before, but it hit the spot for what I needed while I found a permeant place to live after selling my house in the area. I did not get to experience the lake access as I was working to much, but was nice and quite nook of Lake Conroe! This property was shared with others who stay in their other units on the house side, but C&W always made sure I had access to parking under the carport and that my path was clear in the morning when I leave super early in the am for my work in health care. The internet access could be a bit better. There was a hardwire use for my laptop with fast internet access, but when I wanted to stream my shows on my firestick I had to go my hot spot data in order to stream. Too bad the TV was not hard wired as well. The cable system had some issues early in the day for whatever reason with the lower channels, but the service was set up with a DVR and loads of On Demand choices for anything I wanted to see. Lots of channels of regular and premium content for a tv junkie like me! Overall a great stay and wonderful host made it easy on me for this RV novice.

A Rare Find

My husband and I thank our lucky stars for our wonderful summer stay with Cheryl and Woody on their beautiful property on Lake Conroe. The setting is gorgeous: being out by the lake but with manicured, well-kept yards around you. Everything you could possibly need is at your disposal: kitchen supplies, cable TV, internet service, and even a washer and dryer. But the icing on the cake is just getting to know both Cheryl and Woody. They make you feel welcome from the start, and are always available for anything you might need. They are truly the perfect hosts.

Amazing!

Cheryl and Woody are absolutely amazing! The property was perfectly suited for us as we prepared for a new home build! The RV is very well stocked with everything you need for daily living! The king bed is great! Having satellite tv and WiFi included is a plus! Our gracious hosts even warned us of inclement weather and offered their accommodations for our safety! David also enjoyed catching all the crappie in season at their boat dock! They are very thoughtful and we made some very special friends for life! Thank you, Woody and Cheryl! Top notch HOSTS!!

My First Glamping Experience

I have stayed in a lot of different places before but not an RV. Mind you, this is no ordinary RV, setting or host family. It was a delightful and unique month’s stay. I had everything I needed and wanted and then some. I even got to stay in the big house when the winter storm hit - safe and snug. I got to meet and spend some time with their neighbors and Cheryl’s lovely mom who was recovering from surgery. Cheryl and Woody took such good care of all of us. I will forever be grateful for their kindness, generosity and perfect hosting skills. Thank you 🙏🏻

I had never stayed in a RV before. Cheryl and Woody took the time to explain all the equipment, which took most of the jitters away. The camper itself was well taken care of, set up perfectly, and had a covered parking spot.

Cheryl went above and beyond! I explain to her I was working nights, she made covers for the windows in the bedroom to ensure be extra dark. Any issue I had was resolved in a very timely manner. Highly recommend staying with her

A piece of Heaven

Totally AMAZING stay!! Cheryl and Woody are two very generous and kind people, having gone above and beyond in every way, even after we left their property. The view from the camper is gorgeous and the sunsets were just breathtaking! All the wildlife was fun to see. Fishing right there also a huge plus and could cookout on the grills, couldn’t ask for anything better!!! Truly, if your looking for a peaceful,quiet, fun, relaxing stay yet close to everything, this is THEE place!! Highly recommended!!! Especially if you like “glamping”, a 36 foot luxury RV, ALL immenities included, even had a super care basket waiting for us. If we needed anything, they were right on it for us. We made new friends, sad to leave but will definitely keep in touch and be back and recommend our friends come and stay. ❤️😁

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST DEAL, WITH THE NICEST PEOPLE THERE IS..... PERIOD!!

First let me say that Cheyrl, Woody, and their folks, are the nicest people you will ever find! I can not put into words the depth of their kindness. The trailer was so beautiful, and completely stocked, with everything we needed, and more. (It was so nice to have a glass of wine, after a full day of traveling!) The bed was so comfortable, that you almost didn’t want to get up in the mornings! Even on the hottest days, the TWO air conditioners kept the place nice and comfy! It has a couch that makes into a bed. The two lazy-boy recliners recline all the way, in case you need nap, or are watching the Rockets or Astros kick butt!! (Yes, it is a big screen T.V.) My wife loved having a washer and dryer. She said it was so nice to go home and not have to do laundry. I would walk down to their boat slip EVERY morning, with my cup of coffee and fishing pole, throw my line in, and catch fish! (My freind who lives on the lake, said he has caught a lot of fish behind Cheryl and Woodys place. Also it was so convenient for my buddy to pick me up in his boat, from their boat slip, and go fishing on Lake Conroe.) There is a covered area with a BBQ, and picnic bench, so you can sit out their in comfort, and still utilize the WiFi . (It was so relaxing to sit out there every evening, look at the lagoon, and watch the sun go down. So peaceful!) I just want to say this was one of the best vacations my wife and I have ever had, and defiantly the best hospitality we have ever encountered! Thank you so much Cheyrl and Woody. Highly recommend!

This truly is a luxury RV! If you are looking for a place to stay without the hefty cost of a hotel I highly recommend this RV! Or if you want to see what it is like to live in an RV before purchasing one, this is the perfect chance! I already can't wait to stay there again! Everything you need is right at hand and there is even a nice view of the water from the back windows. My favorite feature was the cozy little fireplaces, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. You have washers and dryers available, a full kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven and a Keurig. The landlords are wonderful and want to accommodate you as best as possible. Other than the RV shaking when the wind blew hard (rare) and it shakes when the washer is on spin cycle it was just so perfect! I truly enjoyed my stay so much and will stay here from now on when I visit Willis!! I absolutely recommend! You will love it!!

Husband and wife owners, both work in the medical field. Woody, a native Texan is a financial guy and Cheryl, wishes she was a native Texan, is a nurse practitioner. We live in the "big house" on the property. We are also working on having travel nurses in the downstairs rental there as well.

Why they chose this property

Luxury and comfort. For small families week at Lake Conroe. We are also hopeful travel nurses will take advantage of this opportunity to try out an RV for their contract.

The Lake! Lake Conroe has great fishing and water sports. The Lake is over 20 miles long and is a popular spot for camping, fishing and living. Lots of waterfront restaurants and activities for fun.
