Coronodo Cayes

We rented this property for a month and loved every minute of our stay. The property was as advertised and Mark the property owner was a joy to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. The weather was fabulous the whole time and we spent hours walking the beach which is only a short walking distance away. We thoroughly enjoyed our month in the condo. Very quiet and relaxing. A quick drive to the village in Coronado, Imperial Beach and downtown San Diego. Beautiful view of the waterfront. The patio is a nice place to sit out and have coffee in the morning or eat lunch or dinner. Just what we had hoped for.

Relaxing and walking during Covid

Mark’s home was the perfect place to escape the June heat of Phoenix. The house was clean and very spacious. The layout allowed for leaving by either the front door or the back patio to start a walk in an extremely safe neighborhood. The neighbors are so very friendly and one evening we were invited to join a happy hour where the patio was large enough to stay 6-7 feet away. We picked up food from the Calypso Cafe for dinner many nights and the owner Hanna even made chicken soup for my sister one night when she was not feeling well. The bay front walk was delightful and the walk to the beach was easy. We stayed away from Coronado Village as way too many people and no masks. We felt very safe in the Cays. Mark was easy to reach by phone or text and I hope to meet him someday! We are looking forward to the Cays again next year!

Lovely view. Quiet neighborhood. Nicely furnished. Only negative is too many of owner’s belonging in closet (pictures, etc.). This is a small point, overall this is a wonderful vacation place. Owner very helpful?

Fab Pad On The Water

A wonderful place to spend a month. Very comfortable, fully equipped, well thought out. Amazing location on the Coronado Cays, perfect for kayaking on San Diego Bay, or boating, with your own private dock. Dine outside and listen to the water lapping, or sometimes the waves at Silver Strand Beach. Which is only a five minute walk away for miles of beautiful Pacific Beach.

Breathtaking

The setting of this property is nothing short of amazing. When you walk in the front door, the open floor plan allows you see all the way through the living room to the waterway and boats. You are compelled to head directly to the patio for a quick look before exploring the inside. The BIG kitchen is completely stocked with everything you could ever need to make your own favorite dishes. (just bring your food) The pantry is stocked with paper products as well as some non perishable dry goods. There were some when we got there and we left some more for you:) Don't let the word "condo" fool you into thinking it's small. This is a first class fully remodeled full size "house." Well, not legally called a house, but you have plenty of space and it even has a washer/ dryer. Large kitchen & living room, huge master suite and 2nd bedroom with flat screen TVs everywhere. But, back to the outside. While sitting on your HUGE patio your looking at your boat dock 10 yards away. There is ample seating for at least 15 people. A large table and chairs right there means outside dining. The Bar B Que grill is ready to go and even has a spare full propane tank. The owner's attention to detail is something to mention, right down to clothes hangers. Who thinks about that? But how many times have you arrived somewhere and go to hang up your shirts, pants and dresses and find 6 hangers in the closet? If you run out of hangers here, you needed a fork lift to deliver your stuff:) You are only minutes away from good restaurants, grocery stores, beaches and entertainment. We are already making plans to revisit this property. We can't wait to read your review. Have an awesome time at the Coronado Cays:)

Wow!

I rented Mark's condo for 3 months. Everything was more than perfect. Exceeded expectations. Walking distance to a small quaint café, walking Distance to the Lowes Hotel, which provides everything. Walk to Lowes and catch the shuttle to coronado. Very nice and relaxing. Great places to shop and enjoy. Many outlet malls, golf courses, tennis, whatever. Best part is the most beautiful beach. Imperial Beach was absolutely beautiful. Mark is a great host. Felt like a long lost friend I never met. He made sure I had everything I needed and genuinely wanted me to have a great time and enjoy his condo. I cannot thank him enough for allowing me to stay in such a beautiful home. Neighbors are wonderful. Sister in law is fantastic. Lived a couple of blocks over and took care of any questions I had. No problems arose while I was there, so I did not need her other than questions about the area. She even hooked me up with a plastic surgeon. I had no intention of getting any cosmedic procedures while I was there, but I saw the beautiful work they did. Dr Queroz is located at Cos Med. He is absolutely the best. Cleanest facility I have ever been in. I had a facelift and definitely came home looking well rested. My grandchildren enjoyed Whale Watching, Balboa Zoo, Rose Bowl Parade, Shopping at Malls of America, Swimming at the Beach, Swimming at Lowes Hotel, Window shopping in Coronado and eating at all the Local Resteraunts. The best thing was returning to the condo, sitting on the deck drinking a glass of wine. I cannot thank this host enough. I was able to enjoy my family in a relaxing environment, ABSOULTELY ONE OF THE BEST VACATIONS I HAVE EVER HAD

We landed in this perfect little town and enjoy a few months a year rotating our family to enjoy all Coronado has to offer. I am a paraplegic that is very very active and enjoys all outdoor sports.
I have finally bought my lifelong dream of a home on Coronado Island and look forward to living there full-time someday soon.
