About this property
Tallulah House - A remodeled home place now available for short time rental.
The Tallulah House is a family home that has been completely renovated. It features a large screened porch, large yard, fully furnished kitchen, central heat and air, covered parking, washer and dryer and beautiful oak floor. It is conveniently located to the town of Robbinsville, a short drive from Lake Santeetlah, the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway and great fishing and hiking.
My wife (Sara) and I (Rick) are retired NC Public School employees after 30+ years with Graham County Schools. We have remodeled Sara's parents home over a two year period and are now making it available as a short time rental property. We are active in our community and church and enjoy spending time with family and our four grandchildren. We hope that you will enjoy staying at the Tallulah House.

The home was very clean and had everything needed for an enjoyable experience. The owners were great and went out of their way to make sure I was settled in and had everything I needed. Very pleased with the whole experience.
This property was one of the nicest VRBO properties I’ve stayed at. The property was clean and had all the amenities that one would need to enjoy a stay there. The host was wonderful and the communication was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this to anyone I would like a nice quiet Place to visit
The house was as described, very clean and very comfortable. Rick and Sara made it easy and were wonderful to work with. Definitely recommend this property.
The house and property were amazing and Rick and Sara were the best hosts ever!!! Any time I emailed or text, they returned a response within 10 minutes. The location of the property was excellent to tons of family day trip ideas but yet not directly in the middle of a busy location. Only a couple of minutes to Robbinsville for eating, groceries, gas stations, shops, etc. We would recommend this house and location to anyone looking in the area and will definitely return!!!
Awesome house 🏠
Very clean and comfy
Great location for riding motorcycles
Definitely will be back again 👍🏽
A lot of little extras much appreciated and not expected 😀
Rick and Sara definitely go above and beyond to see to the comfort and needs of their guests. The house was very clean and stocked with all necessities and more. I loved sitting on the screened porch each morning to have my coffee. We really enjoyed our visit and hope to return soon.
If you are a motorcycle enthusiast and looking for a great place to stay this is it!! Great location, very nice home, very clean, covered parking, screened in back porch. Everything you need. Can’t say enough about this place. Hope to find it available for our next trip.

What a gem!
The house was very nice. We loved the screened in porch, the nice flat yard for the kids to play, and had plenty of space inside for the six of us. Rick and Sara were very accommodating, and even called to make sure we arrived okay and to see if we needed anything.
I want to keep this property a secret but I’m compelled to provide this review. This is a real home and one you can feel like you are at home. Rick & Sara are two of the nicest people I’ve met. You cannot go wrong here
Awesome time in the Tallulah House... Great experience...
The property is awesome. We enjoyed the time and the property a lot. The porch made an end of the day afternoon more nicer enjoying the outdoors. The house is located just 5 minutes to grocery store (Ingles) and gas stations. The best part is Rick and Sara hospitality. They were in contact all the time to ensure we have everything we needed.
This home was a good location close to everywhere we wanted to go. Clean and nicely decorated. The paintings were my favorite!! If you are there take a few minutes to really look at these! Lovely! We spent a great deal of time in the screen porch enjoying the views of the blooming trees and hillside. Owners are very attentive and responded quickly. Will recommend to others and would stay again for sure. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Could not have found a better place. Four of us from MN trailered motorcycles down. Best location for so many majestic rides or family things to do. The home is gorgeous. Super clean, welcoming, great size. Screened in porch and carport was awesome. Rick & Sara could not have been nicer. Great communication. We will definitely be back!! Loved it. ~ Shannon
2 friends and I came down from Wisconsin for a long weekend of riding motorcycles in the mountains. We arrived with a truck and trailer. There is more than enough room to park. The home is better then listed. The pictures do not do it justice. We absolutely loved the property and will be coming back again on our next vacation!
Three of us trailered our Harleys down to Robbinsville to ride all the great roads around the area and this place was a perfect place to stay. I've been to the Robbinsville area every year for the past 8 years, and this place was by far the cleanest I've been to. We only spent the morning and evenings here as we were out riding all day long. However Rick & Sara have everything there that you would need as if it were your own house. VRBO says there is a firepit which we would have liked to hang out by after a long day of riding, but we didn't see a fire pit anywhere. Communication with Rick & Sara was easy and they were quick to respond! I would recommend anyone wanting to stay in the area for riding, or hiking stay here.
