This property is a jewel; with more than 350 reviews, more than most other property in the area and still maintains a nearly perfect rating. Tucked in among the trees high above the forest floor, this property is private, quiet, and relaxing along with a lake view that will mesmerize you. One queen bedroom with leather love seat, flat screen TV, closet with "white noise fan" and extra blankets. A view of the hot tub and lake beyond make this bedroom a delight. A living room with luxury queen (Pottery Barn) sofa bed, a leather arm chair with hassock and a flat screen TV presents versatility to the suite. Then there's the coffee corner with dining table for two, hall gallery, bathroom, kitchenette and two exquisite decks one above the other with an atrium for star gazing while enjoying the hot tub. A total of three tables and plenty of seating makes the decks the place to be. Then of course there's my baby (the hot tub). It faces west so you can enjoy a sunset while soaking in the spa. It’s the perfect get-a-way for honeymooners, anniversaries, or those just wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It is truly a treat. Keep in mind that there is never more than one party at the property insuring you total privacy and relaxation.
I know you will love the suite because it offers a very different environment than most guests experience during their everyday lives. The wooded surroundings are filled with wildlife, deer, opossum, raccoon, red and silver fox, and even an occasional wolf and bear. It's another world at Jacks place, and if I were you I wouldn't miss it for the world. The hot tub water is kept clean and at 102 degrees (Spa temperature) and contains only safe chemicals. The special filter continues to keep everything fresh. A $50 hot tub fee is required. You are provided with your own off street parking big enough for you to bring your boat.
This property is not suitable for disabled guests or those with agility issues as there are stairs to the suite and to the decks along with a number of pit falls for those with these issues.

Relaxing

Great getaway for our one year anniversary. We needed a place to unwind and chill. This gave us the place to do that. Comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Spring Getaway

My partner and I wanted to have a nice little spot to ourselves to enjoy nature as it greened up during spring, and this place fit the bill! The property is above the lakefront offering spectacular views and a lovely amenity like a hot tub and charcoal grill. (My partner and I like to cook together). Eureka Springs offers a very charming little tourist town, and the surrounding trails and lakes are gorgeous.The only small issues I had were the accuracy of the listing, only the lower level of the house is accessible, rather than the entire property. It wasn't a huge deal, but it is definitely only big enough for maybe two couples, max. Also, the community had a hand-made sign stating "no VRBOs", not sure what that is about, the neighbors seemed friendly enough so maybe that's a personal issue.Overall, a lovely stay, and would surely come again.

Wonderful weekend getaway!

We stayed Friday - Sunday and got to see some of the most gorgeous sun rises from the hot tub while we slowly woke up. The neighbors had a golf cart Christmas parade which was so fun to see! The bed was very comfortable and it was just enough space to not overthink anything. We loved our stay and love Eureka!

Good but overpriced.

Good place. Easy access. Deer are everywhere and great to look at. Good view but trees are more grown up versus the pictures. Great weekend. Comfortable bed, black-out curtains were good. 3 issues for the price point: You have to contact the owner for them to change the thermostat. On a vacation the owner asks for us to sweep the floors. I don’t mind some clean up, but the rental should cover minor use. (We are exceptionally clean). The kitchen is useless for anything other than microwave meals.

Great lake view location

Spent 2 nights at this wonderful rental looking over Beaver Lake. Space is very comfortable for 2-3 guests, and the best part is the great view from the deck (with jacuzzi) overlooking Beaver Lake. Quiet, peaceful place, but close enough to get to Eureka Springs and other sites in the area. If ever in the Ozarks again, will definitely stay at Jack’s place.

Lovely vacation stat. But of awkward run ins with the owner.

Beautiful home. Beautiful lamdscape and water view. Lovely hot tub under the stars. It was a little awkward. The owner came back twice while we were there. Saying he had forgot thongs. Lovely gentleman. Very kind. But it made you feel like youd lost your privavcy and uncertainty if he was just going ro make ramdom pop ups o er the weekend. All in all though it was Lovely.

Our Facts about our stay

I’m not here to waste anyone’s time I am here to list our facts. We safely left this property the next day. Emphasis on Safely, due to the emergency operator recording the events unfold. As the host stands 12’ away from my husband loading a motorcycle on the trailer, screaming profanities for us to leave. Thankful for the operator recording it. *the hot tub had no smell of chlorine or any other chemical that would have killed the green growth spots including the ones around the jets. The smell was more of a moldy, bacteria growing cesspool than anything I was want to put my healthy body into.The host has several doors with one way locks on his side and no way to prevent anyone from entering into the basement where we stayed. *Very uncomfortable with the bed only feet only away from the locked door. *There is an entire wall covered in mirrors facing the bed. The bed with red sheets. The back wall of the mirrors appears to have a path behind it that was host access due to the lock *The host has control of the thermostat in the house above the 400’ basement that he rents. *didn’t get the good experience that the property as described. The host provided hand written rules on the 20” dining table he had in the 3’ nook that said no plugged in cooking appliances. We asked for him to turn Down the warm temp. Our only ask. Wish the host all the best. Just quit robbing honest people with your false advertisement.

Peaceful Getaway

Our stay at this lovely apartment was absolutely wonderful. We did not realize that it was the downstairs of a residence when we booked the property, but that turned out to be of no consequence once we were there. The owner does not come to the residence while you are staying there. We had complete and total privacy and were very secluded and very satisfied with the location and the facilities. The house is absolutely tucked into the trees with two decks and a hot tub and the most beautiful view of the lake through the trees. The fact that there is no stove or oven for cooking, makes it even more relaxing, and we found local restaurants to be top-notch. The entire stay was perfect for us, and Jack was the perfect host.

Cute Place With Great Views

Quiet place tucked away with an amazing deck. Sunset views from the deck and the bedroom. Jack is wonderful and we'll be looking forward to booking with him again on our next trip to the Ozarks.

Great Place

The House was wonderful and even better that we were expecting. The view is awesome and the layout of the house was great. Early morning coffee while watching the animals was a great way to start the day. Watching the sunset from Hot Tub was a perfect way to end the day. We will be back

I stumbled onto Eureka Springs in 1971, and just as you probably will, I fell in Love. My former wife and I started out with a juice bar, then a restaurant, then a shop. I currently sell real estate, design and build custom homes, have a custom deck company, and market a couple of self invented products. But all that is just a sideline. Eureka Springs is not about money, it's about lifestyle. What I really do, is enjoy life. My social life and businesses, my church, these magical Ozark hills, hiking and exploring, boating, fishing, and swimming off my dock. I love meeting people, and look forward to meeting you. However I will not intrude upon your privacy, you can enjoy my company at your will.

Why they chose this property

I live in paradise. I lived in town for 14 years and enjoyed it, but living on the lake is unbeatable. Fortunately it's only a few minutes from town and all on paved roads. There is something about living with the woods all around you and a huge body of water in site. The quiet, the peacefulness, and the feeling of being in control of your life is exemplary. You are invited to enjoy it for yourself.

What makes this property unique

I chose my house because it is at the end of a ridge with a great view of the lake and no traffic.. I think you will spend a great deal of time on the decks as they present an overview of the forest and lake below. I embellish them with flowers and plants that adds a feeling of quiet luxury. The neighboring homes are both private from view so you will be alone in the woods. Both a time for reflection and recharging your energy to explore the amazing number of adventures this outdoor destination provides.
