It was our 2nd time staying at this cabin. Its equipped with everything our family needed. Donna is always super helpful. We look forward to going back next year.
This was the second time we have stayed, the host was wonderful with responding to are questions. Great location, the house had everything you need, very comfortable.
What an amazing stay! The house is incredibly spacious and beautifully tucked away among stunning snow-capped peaks—it felt like our own private retreat, yet still just a short drive to everything we needed. Everyone in our group had more than enough space to relax, whether it was hanging out together in the common areas or retreating to their own private corners to unwind. The host was absolutely fantastic—friendly, super communicative, and quick to respond to anything we needed. You can really tell they care about making the stay enjoyable. Not to forget the fireplace!!! And yes, there was plenty of firewood for cozy evenings by the fire—such a great touch! We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would 100% book again.
We were there for the week to ski. Host Donna is a terrific communicator! We stay in VRBOs many times a year and this one is certainly special! It is very spacious and yet feels cozy! Very well equiped. 2 beds/bedrooms are well suited for adults. The additional bedrooms would be better suited for children. Enjoy!
This is a great location and a very accommodating home with everything you need.

Perfect location! Perfect house!
We absolutely loved our stay. The house was in a convenient location and had a beautiful view of the mountains. Donna was so nice and easy to work with. We would definitely stay again.
We didn’t all make it due to several cancelled flights, but the few that made it said it was lovely and nice. They had a great stay. Property manager was very communicative and kind! We will definitely try to make the stay again.
A very nice place as well as a great location. Short trip to many ski resorts. The property was as listed and the owners were great to deal with. I would definitely recommend this to others. Wonderful trip and a great place to stay. Hope to book again.
Our stay at the log house was just perfect for us two families. The location in Silverthorne in the middle of major skiing areas in Colorado was perfect as well. The house itself has all you need from kitchen, enough space, fireplace, terrasse, enough parking spots, nice and cozy bedrooms, bathrooms, just everything! We can strongly recommend this house. The communication with the host was easy and Donna was very supportive on any questions. Loved it!
The house was extremely well equipped. Had everything a larger group would need. Comfortable furniture and the views off the second floor balcony are unbeatable. Close to town and services too.

About the host
Hosted by Donna Jewett
I grew up in New York City and always wanted to move out west. I went to the University of Colorado, in Boulder, and never left Colorado. It was the best decision of my life. John Denver wrote a song that I relate to called, "Rocky Mountain High".
Why they chose this property
My husband and I purchased this small log cabin because of its rustic feel, large lot size, and distance from the larger mountain towns. We put in an addition in 2005 and renovated the cabin. We continue to love this cabin/house and the Silverthorne area. We are still close to and enjoy Dillon, Keystone, Frisco, and Breckenridge.
What makes this property unique
Secluded mountain retreat with fantastic views, yet close to several mountain towns with countless outdoor adventures.
