Riverside retreat with views of the St. John's River and Downtown Jacksonville. This cottage is located on an oversized lot with beautiful oak trees and an expansive lawn. This amazing place has all the amenities you need to enjoy a short or extended stay. You will enjoy the oversized lot, quiet and safe neighborhood, and the calm spaces of this property. Come and stay a while.

This cottage is private and well appointed. There is a washer and dryer available as well as a fridge, dishwasher, stove, microwave, and coffee maker. The views of the water will draw you outside where you will enjoy the shade of the huge oak trees.

Cottage

Overall was a good stay. Floors were very dirty upon arrival. 2 of the kitchen cabinet doors were falling of of the hinges. I fixed these. Back deck is warped very badly. Fence is falling down. Grill cover is completely worn out. Could use a lot of TLC and maintenance. I would not recommend staying at the cottage until it is repaired and maintained.

Never again!

Would not stay again! Pictures not accurate. Furniture uncomfortable, the little they had. Not happy with stay. The only thing enjoyable were our day trips away from there!

Quiet, relaxing stay

We came to Jacksonville for a sports tournament and we were pleased to see how close we were to all locations. We had less than 10 minute drives in all directions. Having the Wawa at the top of the street was a huge bonus! When we arrived, the cottage is rather close to the main house on the property but there was no interference with the residents. The neighborhood was very quiet. We found the main bedroom to be immediately as you walk in making the bottom floor more of a studio feel than a closed off bedroom. The upstairs was a great space to watch TV and feel cozy and there was a space heater available. There were plenty of clean towels, great water pressure, 1.5 bathrooms which was a plus and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Perfect size for three on a no fuss getaway!

Lovely little cottage

The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. It was set back on a quiet street. Our host was nice and very quick to respond to the few messages that I sent. If I'm ever in the Jacksonville area again I wouldn't mind staying there again.

You will not find a better property at a better price. We want all of our guests to feel at home and well cared for. This cottage is a gem in a safe area. All of our guests love staying here. We have several repeat guests who enjoy the location and privacy.

A 5 minute drive to and Directly across the river from all sporting and entertainment venues: NFL Football, Major Concert Venues, Professional Football and Wrestling arenas, Symphony and Broadway Plays in downtown Jax.
