Lake house with private sandy beach on Hutchins Lake!

Our family cottage on Hutchins lake is perfect for family getaways! Our home is fully furnished and has a large screened in porch with a great view of the lake and those Pure Michigan sunsets.

Our walk in beach is very unique to the area - great for building sand castles and bonfires. Hutchins lake is a spring fed sand bottom all sports lake - you can bring your own boat!

We are situated on a quiet dead end street just 15 minutes from Saugatuck and 20 minutes from Holland. Please reach out if you have any questions!

Sunsets and swans
The cottage is newly renovated and equipped with everything you need. Three of the four bedrooms have enough beds for a family and the livingroom is open and cofortable. We ended everyday with a sunset and swans enjoyed watching the swan

Beautiful views of the lake in a quiet secluded area. Very relaxing. The beds were very comfortable. Found some antique shops nearby that were fun to visit.

Fantastic place to stay!!
This was our 3rd year staying here and it get better every year!! The lake is beautifull and shallow for about a 100 feet out from the shore, so there was no worries about the grand kids playing out there.

A Vacation Delight
This is a beautifully maintained property on a quiet street. It has a lovely private beach, and very clean and nicely decorated interior. There is much to do in the area (I highly recommend the Saugatuck Dune BuggyTour forbothchildren and adults), but the “base camp” is so great that it is tempting to spend every minute there. I can hardly wait to return!

A little slice of private paradise
We couldn't imagine our good fortune in finding this home to stay in. This home is in a nice and quiet neighborhood. We felt very safe here and enjoyed the comfortable beds and recliners. It's in a great location and we didn't feel far away from all the places we wanted to see. The property owners were kind and easy to contact if we needed to. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Staying at this comfortable, homey fully equipped house made our Tulip Time very enjoyable. Preparing our food morning and night made this place very affordable. Our host was quick and responsive to our requests. I would rent here again.

Another Amazing Year
We stayed at the cottage for our fourth year in a row and once again had a wonderful family vacation. We absolutely love our stays here. The kids enjoy the beach, the shallow water, the lilipad, and boating. They look forward to this trip every year. We had outstanding communication and a stay without any issues. Just as expected! Cozy and quiet home on a beautiful lake
Our stay was planned for just before the Tulip Festival in Holland. The weather for the majority of our stay was very nice. We enjoyed relaxing lakeside with a campfire and did some kayaking and fishing in clear lake water. I can only imagine the nice sandy beach in the summer! The screened in porch is a nice area to relax in the evening and enjoy playing cards or games. Such a spacious house with with a nice layout for 4 bedrooms. This gem is nestled in a quiet neighborhood you won't want to leave!

This property was perfect for our family. We attended a wedding located on the same lake. We booked early and the price was very reasonable. The property was absolutely SPOTLESS! I have never rented a home that was as well kept as this house. The property offered everything we needed for a fall weekend trip. It would be an excellent location to rent again in the summer months.

The home was perfect for Our little lake getaway with 2 small kids! The home was extremely clean upon arrival-kids 5 and 17 mo loved the shallow lake for swimming, the sand, the porch swing, the screened porch, the bunks, the books and games provided! We truly couldn’t have asked for more! Thanks for a perfect little getaway from real life! We will be back!
