Come to the McKenzie River and stay at our relaxing, fully furnished home with 3 bedrooms: including 2 master bedrooms with 1 king and 2 queen sized beds. This home sits on the river just steps away from the water and is centrally located near many outdoor attractions. Just to name a few: it is 30 mins to Tamolitch Falls (Blue Pool), 10 mins to Blue River Reservoir, 15 mins to Cougar Hot Springs, and 18 mins to Cougar Reservoir. The McKenzie River is a hotspot for fishing and rafting that our home sits right on the edge of. Adventure by day and sleep to the comfort of the river sounds by night.

Fantastic cabin on the river.

Had a fantastic fishing weekend with my sons. This cabin was spotlessly clean and spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed for preparing meals. The hot tub was a great way to end our days on the water. Wonderful views of the river off the back deck and decent fishing on the property.

Definitely plan to return

We had a wonderful time! The home was lovely, spacious, comfortable, and well stocked. The property was beautifully, easy to find, and tucked away from the highway. We enjoyed the hot tub, fishing, the quick drive to Rainbow for food and supplies, and watching the river (and lots of birds) from the deck. What can’t wait to visit again!

The perfect peaceful getaway

Wow is all I can say about this home!We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this peaceful and beautiful location! Walking up to snowfall each morning, with the warmth of the fireplace Listening to the river flowing each night as you fall asleep. Perfection!!!We cannot wait to return!!!!

Amazing getaway!

My girlfriends and I spent 3 days at this home. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen had EVERYTHING we could possibly need, and the ambience of the river was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Favorite VRBO to date!!

The only rental I’ve been to where every single thing about it was perfect! Place was spotless. Hot tub was immaculate (stars were amazing!), house had literally everything we needed and then some. Quiet, peaceful and serene. The entire property was so well thought out and meant to be lived in and enjoyed!3 nights was not enough at this place! I think I spent most of the first night opening cupboards and closets going “omg I can’t believe they have this, they thought of everything!” And truly, they did. Even down to the food coloring I needed for Christmas cookie icing! (There were even fishing poles had we wanted to fish).It was clear right away that this house has had a lot of love and quality workmanship put into it. It felt like someone treated it as their home – not just a rental property – and that makes a world of difference! Sitting on the deck with the heater on every morning, sipping tea and watching the river flow was so soothing. Hot tub was great! It heats up quickly too. Was at 91 when we got there and in just over an hour it was up to temp! Some of the small touches were my favorite. Like the photos of what the property used to look like, board games and a massive bookshelf with books about the river and local area. We were so sad to leave, but grateful for this place and the wonderful Christmas memories it helped create.

Peaceful

We were a group of four golfers traveling from Bend to Bandon, Oregon. We golfed at tokatee golf club and then stayed at Van’s place. It was extremely quiet and peaceful and perfect for our late arrival and early departure the next morning for Bandon dunes. Thank you, Van, it was great.

Nice cabin with beautiful view of the river

We had a wonderful stay. Check in and communication with the manager was a breeze. Online description matched the property. 3 nice big rooms with comfy beds and two bathrooms upstairs. Big tv room and a bathroom downstairs. Little warm downstairs, there is an AC unit in the window upstairs, and we couldn’t get the sound system to work with the TV, but those were minor issues and we otherwise loved the property.

Wonderful Oasis

What a beautiful home right off the wonderful MacKenzie River. The deck over looks the river and is a gorgeous place to have coffee in the morning and wine at night while listening to the river. We came here to hike and kayak and was perfectly happy with all the extra amenities the host Van provided. Host was very responsive and we appreciated the flexibility of checking in and out. The house came equipped with all the extras and it was very much appreciated. Thank you! Would highly recommend this house!

Weekend getaway

A nice relaxing place. Sitting on the deck and listening to the river was just what we needed. Lots of hikes are in a driveable distance. I would recommend to bring groceries and cook food. I plan on going back

Amazing views great home

Enjoyed our stay w friends while touring Oregon ! We spent most of our time on the back deck enjoying the river views but the house is well stocked and set up nicely for friends and or family gatherings. The owner was very responsive with reco’s and questions . Loved our stay - highly recommend !!!
