Life is a dream on Dreamer's Way - This very clean, comfortable, updated home with an open concept layout and plenty of windows for sunlight is located on a quiet, private street close to the fun of Circuit Ave. (10-15 minute walk).
Please read our reviews to find out why guests say our house is the perfect gathering place for family and friends. Tastefully decorated rooms, a spacious deck with wrap around bench and dining table, chairs are adjacent to a wonderfully spacious, custom outdoor shower w/changing area are a few of our guests' top favorite things about the house.

The kitchen is convenient to the back deck via sliding doors that overlook a large, private backyard and wooded area.

Easy access to Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. The house was clean and had everything you could need. Very easy directions for everything. We will definitely be back. Outside shower was very nice.

Fantastic Martha’s Vineyard vacation
This was a fantastic house with everything we needed for a week at Martha’s Vineyard. It has lots of amenities The location is great - close to both Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven.

Sweet Treasure!
We had a lovely stay at the Vineyard Dream! It was so perfectly located making for easy commute between Main St., Vineyard Haven and Circuit Ave, in Oak Bluffs. We found the rooms and decor so lovely, so sweet, just what we needed to put the hustle and bustle of the earlier days behind us. Walk into a clean and tastefully decorated living room and kitchen. There is a lovely bedroom on the 1st floor with double bed and room for a pack and play. With a quiet out of the way room across the hall and a bathroom next door, it greatly accommodated our grandson and his mom when they needed some down time. Upstairs there are two bedrooms on one side of the hall each with twin beds. Our kids took one and found it inviting and relaxing. And their grandmother took the other and couldn’t stop talking about how sweet her bedroom and the whole house was. And there’s more, upstairs as well on the other side of the hall is another darling bedroom with a queen bed. It does overlook the front living room, but it was perfect for us. All rooms have working air conditioner units and there is a ceiling fan in the living room as well. We took our breakfast out onto the deck; so delightful. John and Patty thank you so much for your attention to the details of your house and to us. We would love to come back for another stay.

Nice quiet location with great access
The house was exactly as listed with lots of accomodation for our partry of 5. The kitchen was well furnished and we cooked in all but one night. The property itself is very well maintained and the deck with outdoor shower was a real highlight. The master room is open to the downstairs so keep that in mind if you plan to stay up late in the living room and lower the noise level. Wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thanks John and Patty for the great communication and the early check in accommodations. We loved the house and can't wait to come back!

Cute cottage in a great location
We stayed here during our annual summer trip to Martha’s Vineyard and loved it! The location is fantastic and the layout is perfect for a family. We had four adults and two kids and it was enough space for everyone. Will definitely return!

Lovely Stay!
Myself and my girlfriends had a wonderful stay on Dreamers Way. The home was a perfect location - just a mile walk outside of Oak Bluffs which made it easy to get back and forth to explore. The kitchen was stocked full of everything you could need to make home cooked meals. Can’t wait to come back again!

Stayed to run the Martha’s Vineyard marathon and half marathon 2023 for a girl trip (5 gals). The house was a perfect location, walking distance to town and race (less than a mile). The house itself is exactly as listed with numerous beds, open living space for all, large kitchen area. Would definitely return to this house!

The hosts, John and Patty, were great! Their home is immaculate and equipped with everything that you might need. The beds were so comfortable, and each room was adorable. They have a nice deck and spacious private backyard. The town is just a short walk away, but there are plenty of Ubers if you don’t want to walk. Stay here! You won’t be disappointed!

We had a great time staying here. The home was beautiful and had great indoor and outdoor space (the back deck and yard are both phenomenal). It was quiet, but a very close drive to the Oak Bluffs area. We would definitely stay again.

Overall Great Stay at Vineyard Dream
We had a nice week in OB at this home. Owners were very responsive. We were a group of 4 adults and 4 children and the overall space of the home was sufficient. The kitchen itself is a bit tight but we made do. The adults ate out on the nice deck while the kids ate inside at the table. We grilled a few times and it worked well but it could use a good cleaning or replacement. The beds were all comfy and the ac's did a good job of cooling the entire place. The AC's in the three smallest bedrooms need a bit of cleaning or replacing though. The house is in a great location, great little neighborhood close enough to everything. You can walk to OB but I recommend a car anywhere you stay on the island to explore. It's a beautiful island. I would recommend this home.

Fantastic Find
This Oak Bluffs rental was a great find. There is a generous amount of beds, the kitchen is well-equipped, there is comfortable seating in two areas, the dining area is an adequate size, the bathrooms are clean and updated, but our favorite features of the house are the outside deck with patio furniture (we spent 90% of our time out there), the four bicycles, and the wonderful outdoor shower. That was the shower that we all jockeyed for. There is a generously-sized changing area adjacent to the shower so there's no need to run into the house wrapped in a towel. Sure, you have to provide your own linen but it was no big deal since we rented from Martha's Linen Rental on the island. The bedroom with the queen-sized bed is in a loft-type room. My husband preferred one of the traditional bedrooms but I loved the loft room - it is a generous size, there's lots of storage space, and it has its own a/c unit. John and Patty are excellent hosts. They were very communicative, and they are very generous with amenities - there is a washer and dryer in the basement - a very open and clean basement - as well as beach toys and other recreational items. As you've read, "generous" is the theme of this house. Having rented a lot of vacation properties, I found the cost of this rental to be beyond fair in value. Thank you, John and Patty. I don't know when we'll back on the island, but when we do decide to return, we'll look you up again.

First time on Martha’s Vineyard
The property is accurately described and the owners are very responsive. Checking in was also easy and the house is tucked away on a quiet street. The house has everything a family needs for a quality visit. A couple suggestions for first time visitors: 1) If you are only there two or three days you don’t need a car. The house is about a fifteen minute walk to town and five minutes by bike. We did the walk and/or biked several times every day during our visit. Oak Bluffs is a great place to eat and shop and it can be done on foot or by bike. We usually took an Uber into town during the evening. 2) if you plan to stay more than two or three days, I recommend bringing your car. I was not able to bring a car because I had no idea that you must book a spot on the ferry at the end of JANUARY for a Saturday arrival and departure in the summer. I highly recommend that you book a spot on the ferry the first day they start accepting reservations so you can explore other parts of the island. There is a shuttle and Uber on the island, but a car would have made our trip so much more exciting and enjoyable. 3) You can get a cab from the ferry terminal to the house for about $24. A cab to South Beach will cost about $50. We could not get the Uber app to work from South Beach. There is the shuttle, but that may not be enjoyable with young kids and all your beach stuff. If you drive to South Beach, there are plenty of parking spots and parking is free. 4) I booked the Seastreak ferry out of New Bedford. This is more expensive than the Steamship Authority, but there is minimal traffic and it was very easy traveling to/from the island.

Lovely House!
Four adults spent four days here. The house was spotless and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable. The deck furniture and back yard were great for morning coffee. We played the games provided every evening. We made good use of the four bikes available. Easy enough to hop on one and go to Tony's Market which had everything we needed. We did not have a car and walked the mile to and from town at least once a day. We cut through the pretty cemetery getting to know the "residents" and then traveled into the Camp Meeting Association giving us ample time to admire the gingerbread houses. John and Patty emailed to make sure we had gotten settled in okay and let us know they were available for questions. We would definitely recommend this house!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
We stayed at this property for a girls weekend getaway recently and it was perfect. This was our first stay in MV and John and Patti were so helpful in providing us with information and recommendations. They also were so responsive to my many questions I had. The house was perfect and very clean and organized. The yard was beautiful and the location was in a safe, quiet neighborhood that was a perfect location to anything you needed to get to. We enjoy sharing our 'Vineyard Dream' and love of MV with our guests ~ many of whom become repeat visitors.
This is our second home on the Vineyard, (we rented our first home, Campground cottage, "Blue Heaven," to guests for 11 years.)

THE PERFECT LOCATION!
Our private spacious haven is a comfortable one mile walk from downtown Oak Bluffs as well as a 10-minute walk to Tony's Market. You & your family/friends will enjoy everything that we do about the home: the large deck, a private yard and bright, sunny spacious living area to name a few of our amenities. The decor is cheerful and uncluttered with an open, airy feeling throughout the house. You will also enjoy preparing your Vineyard feasts with island vegetables and seafood in our well-stocked kitchen. We have many utensils, equipment & dishes for inside as well as outside cooking & entertaining. Being serious cooks ourselves, we know the importance of using only the best -- guests love the Henkels knives, Kitchen Aid mixer and the kitchen gadget drawer. We also have everything you need for a lobster fest: plates, butter cups and crackers. Our favorite spot to enjoy a meal and be together is the outdoor deck.

From the minute you set foot in the house, you will enjoy the bright, welcoming living area with a cathedral ceiling--the open floor plan gives the home great flow and there is a wide-open view of the living area from the second floor. The extra-large sliding glass doors in the kitchen open up to the 24' L x 14' W deck and patio set and fill the home with light from sunrise to sunset. Start the day by having your coffee on the comfortable patio furniture listening to birds and enjoying the breeze as it rustles through the tree-lined backyard. End your day in that very same spot after coming home from the beach & rinsing off in a luxuriously spacious outdoor shower with private changing area. Air conditioning & a large ceiling fan in the living room keep you cool on those hot summer days! Just around the corner on the first floor is a cozy den, a comfortable bedroom close to the bathroom, the quiet corner of the house, while three bedrooms and a second full bath await upstairs, all with comfortable mattresses. The open staircase, illuminated by a pendant carriage light enhances the warmth & magic of the house. The master loft bedroom on the 2nd floor is open to and overlooks the living room and has a skylight & shade that opens and closes. You can sleep under the stars if you wish. Our window A/C units in each bedroom cool the house to a comfortable temperature. This neat, clean & special home is a wonderful, family-friendly place to enjoy your Vineyard days!
