Private Cabin of Rustic Elegance with Modern Amenities in the Heart of Flat Rock

Dovetails is located in the heart of Historic Flat Rock. The cabin is a clean, fully equipped log home conveniently located five (5) minutes to Hendersonville NC - sixteen (16) miles from Asheville Regional Airport and just three (3) miles from US Hwy. I-26. You are within walking distance of local bakeries and restaurants and the Flat Rock Park where you can enjoy walking trails, and playgrounds. The neighborhood is quiet and a beautiful place to walk your pet or take a leisurely stroll. Pets are always welcome with no pet fee. Your reservation comes complete with fresh premium linens and towels, basic start of paper products, garbage service, firewood and basic start to toiletries. 100mbs Wi-Fi, DIRECTV.

There are two (2) master suites, each at opposite ends of the home to provide optimum privacy. Each suite has an en-suite bath and private covered porch. Master one (#1) has a King size bed and Master two (#2) has two Queen size beds. There is also a pull out sofa with a Queen mattress in front of the wood burning fireplace.

Dovetails is equipped with 3 large TV’s, all with DIRECTV. The Wi-fi is wireless and 100mbs.

Bedrooms include large closets and dressers. Each suite has a TV, an alarm clock, bedside access to plug-in’s and USB charging ports. Each master suite is individually climate controlled for your comfort.

En-Suite bathrooms have double vanities with large mirrors, large tile showers and hair dryers. Makeup towels are provided in addition to regular bath towel sets. You will have access to extra towels and linens during your stay.

The Kitchen is fully equipped with basic everyday cooking utensils and cutlery. There are storage containers for your convenience as well. A gas grill is available to use on the back deck. There are two sitting areas for dining. One six (6) person table inside and one six (6) person table outside on the back deck. You will have use of the front loading clothes washer and dryer, laundry supplies; as well as an iron and ironing board. Dovetails is stocked with basic cleaning and garbage supplies for your use.

Enjoy the wood burning fireplace or head outside to huddle around the outdoor fire kettle. Firewood is provided for your stay. Dovetails is on a one (1) acre lot surrounded by woods. The Village of Flat Rock is just 0.5 miles away and is connected to Dovetails by walking / biking trails. The Village has a movie cinema, coffee shop, BBQ shack and shops. Flat Rock is also home to the NC state theatre The Flat Rock Playhouse and the Carl Sandburg National Historic Site. Dupont and Pisgah Forests are close by and great for fishing, hiking, biking, climbing, paddling, camping and sightseeing. The new Ecusta Trail is close by to enjoy a leisurely hike or biking experience.

Check-in is available 24 hours a day. Prior to your reservation you will receive a Property Information booklet. This will contain your entry codes, Wi-fi passwords and more. There is plenty of parking on site.
