About this property

Beautiful Marsh Views, Steps to the Beach!

Spend your vacation right in this charming two bedroom villa in the heart of Fripp Island. The villa is equipped with a full kitchen, a screened in porch, kitchen table that seats six, and a smart TV in the living room and flat screen in the master bedroom. There are two full baths, one in the hall and one in the master bedroom.

The master bedroom has a queen bed and the guest room has 2 twin beds.

Back opens to the canal and expansive marsh view, enjoy time fishing off the deck. The beach access at the Beach Club is a short walk, just across the street. Close distance to tennis courts, food court, pool, bars, and more.

We are glad to provide golf cart rental companies contact information, but we do not have a golf cart or guest cards.

Amenity cards are not available with the villa. They can not even be purchased additionally. Amenity cards are required to access Fripp's pools, golf courses, restaurants, tennis courts, and food court. However, you can still access the beach and shop at Spring Tide Market & Deli, the Marina Deli, and Mango's Gift Shop without the amenity cards. We highly recommend stopping at Publix, Food Lion, or Walmart on Sea Island Parkway to get groceries and food before heading to the island. Fripp Island is truly secluded and private so going "into town" for groceries will be at least a 20 minute drive. There are restaurants along Sea Island Parkway.

Reservations are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.

Renters must be over 25 years of age to reserve our property.

Great location
We enjoyed stay at the condo, very convenient to beach. Condo was equipped with all the amenities we could want, and everything was in working order. My only suggestion is to freshen up the furniture and walls, they are showing ware.

Relaxing weekend getaway
This place was perfect for our relaxing "girls trip". The condo was exactly as described, clean and comfortable and had a peaceful view of the marsh. The only issue we had was finding parking close to our building since so many spots were taken up by golf carts. We loved seeing all the deer around the complex. You may want to check the light in the outside hallway by the front door. I think it was out so it was kind of hard to see trying to get inside in the dark. But other than that tiny annoyance everything was great.

This villa was not very clean. Beds were very uncomfortable. It is in a good location but other than that very disappointed.

Relaxing getaway
I love coming here for the past 3 years. The only issue was my son's parking pass but with 1 quick call it was corrected. Also I wish there were Blinds in the living. I stay on the 1st floor and people were constantly walking back there this year and could look right in. Also there was a golf cart parked there for a couple of days and it was just kinda creepy.

Nice stay on Fripp
Overall we would easily recommend this property. It was nicely appointed, having everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. Easy to get to the beach via several access points. The Villa is on the first floor, with a nice view of the marsh from the den and screened-in balcony. There is easy access to the marsh and grills via a stairwell at the back. An FYI for light sleepers, there are numerous Pickleball courts right outside the bedroom windows, with lots of early morning pings and shouts from the players. Didn’t bother us and a bonus if you enjoy Pickleball or tennis.

Cozy villa and great location
The villa was perfect for our short getaway to Fripp. Short walk to the beach, although we rented a golf cart and went to several other access points as well. Highly recommend!

Loved the marsh view. Close to the beach.
Location was great. A very short wagon pull or golf cart ride to the beach. The queen sized mattress needs replaced. You sink in it and wake up sore. The furniture is out dated. Well stocked, however, plenty of cleaning supplies. Ice maker works great. First floor a plus!

Great place to stay - NO AMMENITY CARD, which is needed for Fripp activities
Putting this at the top because I wish I'd seen it mentioned when I was researching places to stay, rather than after I'd already booked -Something that should be made ABUNDANTLY clear is that this property does not come with an Amenity Card. You need an Amenity Card to do anything on Fripp Island except go to the beach or buy from the market. No pools, no restaurants, etc- And the big thing is that you cannot buy an Amenity Card separately, you can only obtain one by renting a property that includes them. To Tidewatch's credit, they did call me to inform me about this, after I booked the unit- I spent some time looking at other options including Tidewatch properties that included Amenity Cards, but we decided to just keep our booking and get our dinners elsewhere. Turned out to kind of regret that as the 25 minute drive back and forth to Beaufort got old pretty quick, but it wasn't the end of the world. Just wish there was another way to get an Amentity Card. Check-in instructions weren't perfectly clear - you simply access the lock box next to the unit door, with the code provided in an email. No need to call and check in or anything- maybe this is obvious to people who have experience staying at place like this, but it wouldn't hurt to have an extra sentence in the instructions explaining this. Not a negative, though!!! They were happy to explain it when I called. Nice looking unit furnished with everything you'll need except food. Even laundry and dish soap! Needs some detail work but overall the place was nice looking and pleasant. Layer of dust on curio cabinet shelves and under the furniture... if you really pay attention to the corners and cracks you'll notice the need for extra cleaning. BUT, nothing obscene or bothersome - just accumulated dust. Not a big deal to me, might be to others - just being honest for the review. Great view from the screened-in balcony. AC works great, unit feels like a nice place to retreat to after a long day in the sun - unlike some of my past experiences at rentals elsewhere in the country, I actually looked forward to coming home to Beach Club Villa to relax after a long day. Walls and windows do very little to insulate from outside sounds- I kept thinking the master bedroom window was open because of how clearly I could hear outside noises. It never kept us or the kids awake though... however I sure hope the few meltdowns my kids had didn't bother anyone else. Would stay here again!

The property is centrally located on the island. The had a beautiful view of the marsh with and ebbing and flowing tide off of a dock just behind the property. Lots of great memories made this trip. #Fripp2022

Unit was somewhat dated. Shower curtain liner in hallway bath needed replacing due to mildew. Washing machine had standing water and would not run/drain. Coffee maker was worn out. The mattress in master bedroom was perfect.

Nice remodeled condo! There were a few issues with parking due to comstruction.
This unit suited our needs! Well decorated, comfortable beds. The people upstairs were a little loud, but other than that, a great spot!

A Perfect Getaway
The setting of this cute 2 BR condo provides a Marsh view. It is clean and well stocked. * Renters should be aware that Amenity cards are not available with this property.* Amenity cards provide entry to the restaurants and pools on Fripp. I was there for the salt air, beach and relaxation so the condo provided all my needs.
