Ocean Front with King Bed and Two Decks!

Step right off the living area deck and onto the walkway to the beach, toes in the sand in four minutes! You will enjoy fantastic ocean views from both the bedroom and living area, each offering their own private deck. This condominium has been updated throughout, with upgraded flooring and lighting fixtures, a new HVAC system (late 2018) and a renovated kitchen. In the bedroom, the king bed invites sweet dreams and opens onto a private ocean front deck for enjoying the stunning view. There is a 32" flat screen TV in the bedroom. A combined living dining area boasts a sleeper sofa, two armchairs big enough to curl up in, and a 32" flat screen television. Kitchen upgrades include a stainless steel dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator, glass top stove, granite counter tops and updated lighting. Lots of books for your enjoyment including novels, nature, and cookbooks. This condominium will not disappoint!

Renters must be over 25 years of age to reserve our property.

*3.5 % Booking fee added to total. Vehicle gate pass fees are per vehicle, set by the Island and subject to change. Rates: day pass $25; 2 nights $35; 3 nights $45; 4 nights $55; 5 nights $65; 6 nights $75; 7 nights $85;, 8-30 nights $140; 31-365 nights $215. Starter supplies (1-3 nights) provided of paper towels, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, toilet tissue, hand soap.

*Please note that golf cart rentals are NOT permitted for renters per the Harbor Island rules. Personal golf carts also can NOT be brought onto the island per the rules.

Enjoyed stay but…

Overall the property needs some updates and improvements. Any recent updates are already showing signs of wear and tear- floorboards, tile, appliances, etc. Walls are thin- we heard people walking and dragging furniture around above us every morning/night. The photos are flattering. Sofa, bed linens, towels, pots and pans, dishes etc are worn and random. Location close to the beach is as described. More comfortable furniture on the decks to lounge would be a nice addition.

Nice condo

Condo nice location not a long walk to beach. Living couch needs updated. Floor in master bed floor has some slops and lose tile when you walk on them. Other than that a great stay.

Beautiful setting

This is a great place to stay if you enjoy a quiet beach with a nearby park. This particular building faces the ocean and has beautiful views. The condo is comfortable and nicely furnished.

Fantastic!!

The condo was fantastic! Gorgeous view. Super easy beach access. A kitchen with pots and pans etc that made cooking easy. Very clean. Very nice furnishings. Even when a small hiccup happened because the gate person hadn’t read their email and prepared our parking pass, the management of the condo was very quick to get it resolved and we were delayed only five minutes in checking in. Couldn’t be happier with this place and can’t wait to come back again!

Plan around the Tides

This vacation was nice but as advice, i would plan around the high/ low tides. The low tides are extremely low & limit beach activity. That may be a good time to head to the pool.

We love the island and have been coming for years. The condo met our expectations with the exception that we had no tv service for the entire stay. I called for assistance but only received a trouble shooting guide via email that was of no help. There could have been more of an effort to resolve the issue.

Pleasant Place

Harbor Island is a pleasant place to stay. The beach is picturesque with colorful houses on one end and sea oats on the other. Since it is located on a sound it is rather shallow and waves are minimal and the water was a bit warm at times. The condo was comfortable except that the deck furniture pictured in the listing was not there. No chair to lounge in and put your feet up and no swing. Those were actually things I was looking forward to. Instead all the furniture - although new - was super uncomfortable. It was a shame because the view from the deck was nice and relaxing. It was very convenient to step off the deck and head right to the beach so that was a big plus. My husband and I are older but this place seems great for families with younger children. Had a wonderful dinner at Johnson Creek Tavern just down the road. The cornbread was so good we had a second helping for dessert!

Great views, not a great unit

This unit offered some stunning views. They were absolutely beautiful! The location in proximity to the beach was also amazing. The condo itself was very cute but the pictures for the listing are somewhat misleading. This unit is much smaller in person than it appears online. The bathrooms and kitchen are absolutely tiny. We were also really unhappy with the cleanliness of our unit. The condo itself would really benefit from a good deep cleaning. There was dust everywhere and the bathroom floors looked (and smelled) as if they hadn’t been swept or mopped in a very long time.

Needs improvement

A nice place. Great location. Really lacks in the basics though. For instance, the place only came with one trash bag, one dishwasher detergent packet, no laundry soap, coffee filters, starter coffee pack, disinfecting supplies, one roll of paper towels, etc.. The drain in the shower was completely backed-up, the base boards were pretty gross. Just needs a deep cleaning. A bit concerning how dirty it was for COVID times.

Three Day Getaway

Very nice first floor condo with comfortable furnishings and a well equipped kitchen with stainless appliances. Condo is beachfront with a fairly long boardwalk over the dunes. The living room and the bedroom both have sliding doors to porches. For a one bedroom it feels quite spacious.

Excellent first trip since lockdown

Perfectly situated on the beach. Quiet, not many people around since it was early in the season. Great restaurants nearby all of which enforced mask wearing and some social distancing. Unit was well equipped and comfortable. A wonderful time was had by all!

Clean and private, beautiful view!

I was hesitant booking this property due to some of the previous comments but everything was very clean and there were no signs of any pests in the house. My only feedback is that this would not be a comfortable stay for 4 adults.. the foldout couch is very small and there is only one shower.

The only problem was the German roaches in the kitchen. They were everywhere.

The property was beautiful, and exactly what we wanted for our anniversary. The only complaint was the cleanliness. The kitchen was infested with roaches. The rental agent acted quickly to have the area treated. But, that made them even more active. We had to store all of our kitchen things in the refrigerator and keep things sealed in bags. If not for that, would have been excellent.

anniversary getaway

The property was very clean and had an amazing view. The only knock I had was I didn't get an email with check-in codes. This was partly my fault for not following up, but I got caught up with work and was honestly just excited to get the trip started. Thankfully, the property manager picked up the phone and gave me the code, which was the only issue with the trip, and it was a very minor issue. 5 stars!

Labor Day weekend stay

We really did enjoy our weekend stay here (check in on Friday, out on Monday.) We chose this property primarily because of the reviews and the close proximity to the beach, as I did not want to run into any other people during the pandemic. The beach was very quiet and it was so easy to distance. The location is wonderful. The short walk to the beach featured plenty of wildlife in the little marshy area under the walkway. We saw rabbits, gators, frogs, possums, birds, raccoons, and turtles. I do feel like the property could use a good deep cleaning. I found a few small bugs in the dishwasher and silverware drawer. I tried to kill the first one and pulled out the silverware tray to find a nasty accumulation of gunk and dirt in the back of the drawer. We found someone's toothbrush in the shower, there was a thick layer of dust on the ceiling fans, a stray sock was left by the washing machine. I wondered if it was reasonable for me to mention this, but I know cleanliness is a top priority for me, as it is for everyone, especially these days, so I decided to contact the management office and tell them about it. They did tell me that this property had been booked solid for a while and that they had a lot of properties to keep up with. I hope they asked the cleaning crew to do a little more after we left. Also wanted to point out that we were asked to start the dishwasher with any dirty dishes, and put all linens in the washing machine and start it up. There was no dishwasher or laundry detergent provided. Management told me that most people stay longer and bring their own laundry soap. I had to wonder how many people had started up the linens without soap in the washer. One final note is the pool schedule that is being enforced due to covid - There was a list on sign up genius the HOA opens up each evening at 6 pm. If you want to spend an hour or two at the pool the next day you need to get on this sign up list. There's room for 8, may 10 spots, I can't recall. It was like black Friday shopping to try to get a time slot - we waited online 10 minutes before 6 pm, and hit refresh until the list was available. Everything filled up before you could get your info typed in. If this is still the policy, I suggest not counting a getting a spot. The owner did tell me about the schedule ahead of time, I did not think it would be so competitive. We did truly enjoy our stay though, and I am thankful to the owner for sharing their beach home with us.

Great Oceanfront Villa!

Perfect spot for a getaway! We stayed with our one-year-old son and loved the proximity to the beach and the beautiful views! The only slight drawbacks were the noise from the units above and to the sides and some minor cleanliness issues, but overall, a wonderful place!

Secluded spot

Even though this condo is in a community, it has enough space that it feels like you are on your own. I loved the beach because there weren't many people on the beach. You were able to keep your distance without thinking about it too much.
