Mountain Studio & POOL is the perfect romantic getaway and personal retreat. Be our guests and enjoy 10 acres on a mountaintop just 3 minutes from the town of Woodstock offering the best restaurants, hiking, biking, shopping, breweries & live MUSIC. It’s also a perfect place to work remotely. High speed Wifi. Perfect for couples, families & those who want a peaceful country vibe.

In the winter months enjoy skiing at one of the many ski mountains nearby and in the summer cool off in our in ground pool or many nearby swimming holes.

In spring come witness the beauty of nature’s rebirth as everything comes alive .
Hiking is fantastic.
Our Shared pool opens in mid- May .

Summer is magic on the mountaintop.
The sunsets & views are magnificent.
Town is alive with restaurants & music venues.
We are usually fully booked, so book early to get your dates. The pool is an oasis after a day’s hike & stroll through town.

The Studio sleeps 3 and is a cozy, clean and a light-filled hideaway designed for all-season comfort, relaxation and enjoyment.

Central location: 1-mile to downtown Woodstock/3 minute drive. Private deck with beautiful mountain views. Amazing wildlife on serene 10 acre property.

The pool is shared w/ us. We live on these acres in a separate home. We respect our guests privacy.

Relaxing

We loved our stay! It was a perfect get away, being in the middle of the woods with zero noise and a beautiful mountain view. Yet, less than a 1.5 miles from the center of Woodstock, with lots of cozy restaurants and other attractions. The property itself was very clean and well equipped. There was also a pool. It was so relaxing, we’ll definitely come back!

Perfect getaway!

The studio and property far exceeded our expectations. It was perfect! We spent a long weekend in Woodstock and Carole & Ike’s studio was a great location (literally minutes from town) while still allowing us to enjoy the quiet vibes and beautiful views that Woodstock has to offer. We enjoyed some pool time on our arrival day before heading into town for dinner and a show. The studio itself was spotless and well stocked with everything we needed. There was even yummy muffins for us. Carole & Ike were both lovely hosts. They had great recommendations for restaurants and entertainment and Ike has lots of Woodstock music history. We could’ve spent hours just chatting with them. We are already talking about our next trip back! Thank you Carole & Ike!

Our stay in Woodstock

Our stay in Woodstock was generally positive. We liked the property's swimming pool and the peaceful environment. However, the cabin's furnishings were a bit shabby, without a working dresser we could use for our clothes, and with an old and noisy air conditioner that wouldn't allow us to sleep at night among other things. The very steep access road going uphill was unpaved, filled with potholes and rocks, and scary to drive on during rain; as well, it flattened one of our tires. So, we think the landlord could do much better as far as updating the furnishings and repaving the road for guests.

Lovely few days in Woodstock

My husband and I stayed at the Studio and we enjoyed it immensely. It's a 5 min drive into town. The views are great. The studio and the grounds are clean and well-maintained. Would visit again!

Beautiful Setting

Cozy studio in a lovely setting. It was wonderful to get up in the morning and sit on the terrace taking in the beautiful view before heading into Woodstock and returning in the evening to relax with a glass of wine and watch the sky change colors.

Great weekend getaway for 2!

The property was just as described and the place was adorable and clean. It was perfect for me and my husband for a weekend. The scenery was beautiful as there was a fresh layer of snow. I would also recommend driving <10 minutes to Ashokan Rail Trail, it's totally worth it! It's an easy walking path with beautiful views. The house is on the owners property but we had privacy and felt like it was our own space. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

Woodstock Studio with Pool

We just got back from a wonderful long weekend at Ike’s studio. The studio was just right for the weekend with our 4 year old. It was clean and well-stocked with all the basics that we needed. We enjoyed lots of time in the shared pool, but never actually had to share it. We walked in the woods and found some wonderful views. We also enjoyed several trips into town, which was just 5 minutes away, and a couple nearby hikes. Ike was responsive to our questions, but also gave us our space so even being between 2 homes, it felt nice and private. Thanks for sharing your studio.

Relaxing getaway!

From the moment we arrived everything went smoothly. Ike greeted us at the car and showed us where to park and walked us into the cottage. He couldn’t have been any kinder and courteous. The cottage is extremely clean and comfortable, the deck outside is good for early morning coffee or some drinks in the evening. The pool is HUGE and they have lounge chairs, umbrella, floats,etc. Downtown Woodstock is a 5 minute drive away. We highly recommend this property and are sure to return!

Lovely getaway

The studio was lovely, extremely clean and well appointed. Very comfortable beds. The pool was wonderful! Just what our small family needed after so much time indoors. The entire property is lovely, very quiet just the sound os the birds.Great Communication from the hosts, I'd definitely recommend.

Quiet + beauty!

A lot of places say that they are quiet, but Ike's place "can hear a pin drop" is accurate! Great layout in one room and fabulous view from the porch of mountains, sky...and 3 minutes from town, looking forward to returning!

Great getaway

We stopped here for a brief stay on our way home to Philadelphia from Cape Cod. Beautiful location and the pool was a nice treat. Everything was clean and the property was well stocked. The owners were super helpful in making recommendations for places to eat.

Loved this cottage in the woods

We had a wonderful stay! The studio was immaculately clean and super comfortable and cozy. Really comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower . We loved how private this property was. The pool seemed to be shared among a couple of houses on the property but we were able to enjoy it on our own. And the drive into Woodstock is literally 5 minutes. Do make sure you get detailed instructions on how to find the property, we got a little confused, but the owners were easily accessible and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
