Located only yards from the snowy white beaches of the Gulf Coast, Sunset Cottages requires no driving, no packing the car with beach supplies, and no searching for parking spaces. You only have to walk down the boardwalk and over the dunes. Sunset Cottages is a small 19 unit complex that is located in the Santa Rosa Island National Sea Shores in an area called Okaloosa Island, which is home to several endangered or protected species.

Unit 4B is a one bedroom, one bath unit located on the second floor that has a master bed room with a queen size bed, two built-in twin size bunk beds in the connecting hall, and couch that features a queen sized 8.5” luxury pillow-top mattress "Cozy Mattress" designed to feel just like a regular bed. While located only minutes from many restaurants on the island and in Destin, the unit provides on-site dining options with a full kitchen complete with full size refrigerator, stove and oven, twin deep sinks, and a dishwasher. A Publix grocery store is only three miles away and a small Tom Thumb grocery store is within walking distance. The unit also has a washer and dryer, overhead ceiling fans, and an upgraded air conditioner. Unit 4B has two balconies, one with French doors from which you can see the beach and one in the back over looking the swimming pool.

Included in the unit is high-speed wireless Internet and high-definition flat screen televisions and Roku devices allowing instant access to Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon movies and a number of other channels.

So, just park the car and don’t move it your entire stay unless you want to visit the Destin Commons, Silver Sands shopping outlets, Okaloosa Island Gulfarium, or Big Kahunas water park, or any of the many restaurants (though many deliver).
