Resting by open fields, this lovely guest cottage is the perfect place for a getaway stay. Beautifully appointed with classic architecture and lots of light, it has one bedroom with a queen-sized bed, one full bath, a sitting and dining area, and a kitchenette. A couch in the living area is long enough for another sleeping location. The cottage is located fifteen minutes from downtown New Haven, Connecticut. There is a public walking trail across the street, winding around open fields and by a community garden.

Beautiful country cottage
Photos don't do the cottage justice. Upon arriving, we both said, this is exactly what we needed. Handsomely furnished, big windows, complete with local recommendations on arrival. We gave the cottage a nickname and will most likely find an excuse to stay over in the area again, just so we can spend another night here.

Great stay and very helpful host
A quiet, cozy and lovely spot to stay for a guest from the UK. It was very easy to stay at Sharon's cottage. It was fairly well provided for with equipment and just very easy, comfortable and straightforward to stay in as a guest. Bed was very comfortable. Location-wise, like many American small towns, Woodbridge is very spread out, so shops have to be driven to, but there is a good farm shop down the road. Also a great area to go for walks nearby.

The sweetest cottage
I loved staying at Sharon's place. The space is beautifully decorated, and communication with Sharon was easy; she is very kind. The only thing to note is that there is no stove or oven, so cooking isn't an option. Other than that, this place has everything you need for a getaway from any busy city.

Anniversary Get away
We were looking for a quiet get away and this cozy cottage in Woodbridge was perfect and had everything we needed. The walking trails across the street were an added bonus! Sharon and Chris were great hosts.

Lovely Cottage!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay @ this lovely cottage. The surrounding area is serene, peaceful and relaxing. It was the perfect location to experience the beautiful Autumn weather and foliage. The owner, Sharon was very pleasant and accommodating. The Cottage is my first choice, if available, when I travel to New Haven County.

The cottage was sweet and cozy. We had everything we needed. The parking was a bit a of a challenge after a 14 hour drive trying to get a full cab short bed pickup just so into a space so there would be room for someone to drive through the driveway that was tight no matter how you look at it. Might be something worth mentioning. Still it was a lovely little place.

This property is a peaceful and wonderful place to stay. The one bedroom carriage house is very charming. A lovely patio to sit and relax with beautiful flower garden nearby. It is on one level so very easy to navigate. Highly recommend.

Our home away from home in Connecticut! It’s so great to have a home base when moving our daughter to and from college. It’s quiet and cozy in a beautiful setting. Close enough to town/highway but far from the hustle and bustle. Sharon is a great host, very responsive and accommodating.
