There is nothing like a stay on Lake Charlevoix! We had a beautiful week. The cottage is very private and peaceful, the beach is sandy with an amazing view! Lindsey checked in to make sure all was well. Nice location close to Charlevoix, Boyne City and a short drive to Petoskey.

Beautiful area.
In ten years of utilizing VRBO this was the most disappointing.
Lindsey's place is the quintessential stay. Not over the top. A ton of quiet private beach which is key for me. The living/dining/ and porch provided ample space for 2 contiguous gatherings. Kitchen had what one needs to cook anything. More than ample placesettings. Good fire pit @ beach.
The 2 chest deep water moorings allowed me to sleep soundly at night as well. Great place. Gordon M
Secluded space-the view- sandy beach- shallow waters. We brought our floats and sun deck and kayaks! We really enjoyed this place. It was well stocked to cook up an enjoyable meal every day from BBQ to making some banana bread. We liked the split rooms. Our teenagers enjoyed being on the opposite side. It gave everyone space.
Loved this cottage on the lake! You cannot beat the view! The cabin had everything we needed (you bring your own linens, but the owner is very clear in stating that), but there is everything you need for cooking, including the propane and outdoor grill, washing was a breeze with the stackable washer dryer, and the big windows across facing the lake were perfect. And we played games every night in the big family room (closet tucked away by the desk had games and puzzles we didn't find until the last day, but we had plenty of our own!). The sunroom between the living areas in the cabin is wonderful for eating, reading, and just sitting and watching the ducks in the morning. My kids and husband saw deer on the property, and the firepit was great for s'mores and just sitting out. We had an issue with the internet when we first came, but that got fixed quickly. I was limited due to an injury to my foot, but I could easily get around in the cabin. I would definitely recommend this cabin and would love to stay again when we visit Michigan.
My husband and I took a long weekend trip for a little honeymoon and stayed at Lindsey’s place! We had the best time! There’s so much to do around there and there’s nothing like waking up to the breathtaking view of Lake Charlevoix! We are hoping to go back next summer!!
We needed to get out of the city and this place was just the ticket. My parents stayed in the main part of the cottage (1 bedroom) and my kids and my spouse and I stayed on the other side of the breezeway (2 bedrooms and a bathroom). We didn't have the best weather, but my kids still played in the water every day and it is sandy and fairly shallow, which is so nice for them. The cottage was comfortable and EXACTLY what we wanted. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was space to be socially distanced but still enjoy family time. Also, Lindsey (the owner) stopped by and chatted for a bit to assure we had everything we need. In my opinion, this place is an absolute gem and i recommend it for anyone who wants to get away and live in the woods AND on the beach for a bit.
Lindsey’s property was in the perfect location to explore the area. We loved the dock, beach and backyard. We were able to bring our boat which was also super convenient and a huge plus of the house! The screened in porch we really enjoyed on the rainy day while we were there, as well as the big table for family dinners. The privacy can not be beat and we loved our nights around the fire! We can’t wait to book again next year!
We were hoping for a very relaxed, low key get away with our family and 2 dogs with few worries. This lake cottage was the perfect place for us. It's very private on 5 wooded acres so we weren't even aware of the neighbors. We spent many hours in the large screened porch that divides the main part of the house from two bedrooms and a bathroom. It was perfect for reading a good book! We hope to return!
We had a tremendous week at this location. Our blended family of two adults and 7 (yes, really) kiddos enjoyed the solitude, and it was probably good for neighbors to not be so close, LOL! Very scenic location and hidden away in the woods except on the beach side.
We really enjoyed our stay here! Worked well with 2 families and our dogs. Great location and wonderful large screen porch. One thing to note that we did not realize but worked well for us. One bedroom is in the main cottage with kitchen/living room. This is the one with a double bed and a twin. There is a large screen porch and the other two bedrooms are on the other side of it. The screen porch is joined between the two sections. Parents with young kids might not think this is ideal. It was great for us with two families of teenagers though.
Another wonderful week at Pine Cove. We love this place!

Great time on the lake!
We had a great time at Lindsey’s cabin! It was exactly what was described and what we were looking for, a semi rustic cabin on the lake. It was clean when we arrived, the kitchen is decently stocked for cooking on vacation and the location is perfect! Lindsey came over to make sure we had everything we needed and he was easy to reach and quick to respond. We are hoping to make another trip to stay again next year!

Perfect location but needs some updates
Beautiful lakefront property with complete privacy. Negatives- Cottage needed some updates. Toilet seat was peeling and needed replaced. New waste baskets throughout, new rugs, new doors that aren’t filthy and peeling. New mugs and glasses, new pans. Clean out some of the old ones. Needs kitchen t towels and new bath mats. Wish there was a garbage disposal. Would be nice to have linens and towels included in rental which was a pain to bring with us. Positives- Living area nice- furniture comfy, beds comfy. Like screened in area, Nice that we could bring our female non shedding dog. She loved it! We bought a $50 charcoal grill since grill there was rusty so we left the one we bought there. Nice sandy beach. Nice dock. Plenty of plates and lots of
seating at the large table for meals. With some improvements this could be a much nicer place. Be nice to also have an instruction sheet explaining the Wi-Fi, key location for trash bin, etc. so I didn’t need to keep contacting owner although he was easy to reach and responded promptly and very pleasant. Beautiful location with mooring ball for rental boats.

Charming...
My family and I really loved your lake house. It gave us ample room for our family to gather. We thought the home was comfortable and inviting and the view was outstanding. We can't wait to come back next year. Thank you again.

Lovely lake! Really enjoyed the sunroom. The pots/pans and lighting could be updated. The property is very private and secluded, which we liked. Would return again!

Great Place
Great place for a restful, quiet stay. Fully equipped and comfortable. Super owner who was very helpful and went out of his way to support our fun stay. We had a great time and very peaceful as it was very secluded from others. Can enjoy a beautiful view from the beach, screen porch, and even from the house with the comfort of a home.
Highly recommend it.

I love this place!
Best vacation ever 8 years in a row! Love the heavily wooded property with an amazing view of Lake Charlevoix. The lakefrontage is huge and very private. Loved the campfires too. New kitchen appliances and comfortable beds. The screened in porch looking out at the lake is the perfect place to sit and read or just relax. Can't wait to go back again this summer!
