Beautifully landscaped property in a quiet neighborhood less than 200 yards from the Ocean. 10 minute walking distance to 1st and second beaches and a short drive to Newport center.

3 bedrooms - 1 King, 1 Queen and a room which can be configured as a king or 2 twins. Living room has a tiled accent wall with a linear fireplace and a 55" recessed flat screen TV. Finished basement with a family room and 65" flat screen TV, game room (with air hockey table) and a bathroom. Laundry on the 1st floor.

Fully furnished, eat-in kitchen supplied with all the basics and more: dishes, utensils, glassware, pots and pans, coffee maker (Keurig) etc. All linens, towels, blankets, comforters, bed bug protectors supplied for high season short term renters and optional for longer term winter rentals.

Great location and great house!

We had a great week at 19 White Terrace! The house was very clean and the location could not have been better. Beaches to walk to and lots of good restaurants within walking distance as well. Chuck, the owner, was super helpful providing a thorough pdf with loads of recommendations for restaurants and things to do! He also suggested the Cliff Walk and the reed elephant exhibit which was incredible!

Seascape for the Win

Great House Near Ocean

Very well remodeled and decorated, modern, well stocked spacious kitchen, within walking distance to beaches, nice neighborhood, comfortable open floor plan, and owners were very pleasant to work with and easy to reach.

Summer vacation

A beautiful home close to everything and the beaches. 4 adults and one child stayed here and it was very comfortable and accommodating. Everything was clean and updated. The fireplace was a nice touch as well as the heated toilet seat! The location of this home is top notch. We really enjoyed traveling from florida to stay here and enjoy the beauty of Newport.

Great spot, close to 2nd beach

We’ve stayed at a number of VRBO’s in Middletown over the years and this one was our favorite. Great location, close to 2nd beach with an open yard and plenty of room for everyone. The house was clean and we all slept wonderfully in the beds and sheets provided. The AC works great and was a nice touch upon returning back from a long day at the beach.

Simply Perfect

This was our first time staying at this property & Middletown and could not have been happier. The house is cute, clean and met all of our needs. Loved spending time on the back deck. The owners were super helpful & responsive. We look forward to renting here again!

Very nice vacation home

Perfect place in perfect location.

The property was wonderful. The house is pristine and well appointed. The location is amazing. A short and relaxing bike ride to all of the beaches and nature preserves. Also close enough to Newport’s mansions and cliff walk. The garden is beautiful with a very nice composite deck, lots of hydrangeas and even a “chuckle patch” of daisies (for those of a certain age hailing from the nyc tri state area). The twin beds in one of the bedrooms are separable but we didn’t find any twin sheets so if you want to separate the twin beds you may want to bring your own (unless we just couldn’t find them - it wasn’t a big deal for us, our kids just slept on the combined bed). All in all a wonderful summer get away!

Beautiful clean property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully renovated property. Everything is very clean and new and the location was very convenient to the beaches and Newport. Our kids loved the basement space and the neighborhood was great for walks/bike rides. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. Thanks again!

Wonderful week to celebrate our wedding

Everything was great from start to finish. The hosts are very communicative and provided lots of information to help with the stay. The house is extremely comfortable and clean and has a beachy feel to it. The location is perfect. Very close to Newport and the beaches. Fully renovated, sparkling clean house close to 1st and 2nd beach!

This great little house was recently updated and has all of the amenities needed to make your stay comfortable and entertaining. The central AC is strong enough to win over the hottest days, and the huge flat screen Smart TVs make movie nights with the kids a true hit! You can walk to numerous paths that take you directly to the ocean, and it’s exaclty 1.1 miles from the main entrance to Sachuest (2nd) beach (walkable or a short bike ride). Uber/Lyft rides to / from Thames St are typically $8-15 depending on the time of day, which is cheaper than what most parking lots would charge. The house has a composite deck and front porch with plenty of seating for meals or just hanging out with friends. The beds are all queens and have good quality bedding. The finished basement has an air hockey table and another huge flat screen TV (great for occupying kids while adults hang out). The 3 full baths are all new and very clean. We loved this house and will be back next summer for the third year in a row!

The house was great! It was updated nicely and very clean. There was a detailed book for any questions one might have or suggestions on places to go. Our family stayed here in May for a wedding nearby and it was a great place to come back to in between all the wedding festivities. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We are Chuck and Debbie Bodemann. We live in Westford, MA but are down in the Newport area a lot since my father and sister live in the area. We have 2 children, a boy (age 24) and a girl (age 26). We are 'foodies" so that is why we like the Newport area with its many excellent restaurants.

Why they chose this property

Absolutely fabulous location 200 yards from the ocean. We completely renovated the original house to make it very open, updated and single floor living, but with a finished basement with large screen TV, game room and another bathroom. Lots of amenities in a very expensive neighborhood
