The kitchen offers a refrigerator, oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and many cooking and dining supplies. A light and airy living room for relaxing solo or with family not friends, cable TV viewing, or snuggling with a good book in front of the natural gas fireplace. Guests are able to control temperature settings for air-conditioning and heat with a wall-mounted register. A king bed with a Tempurpedic mattress topper and down comforter in the first bedroom promote a good night’s rest. Equally comfortable is the high quality king bed and down comforter in the second bedroom. Lovely linens, down comforters, and choice of pillows (down, Tempupedic, and traditional). The brightly lit, immaculate bathroom has a bathtub with shower.
You’re invited to the backyard and garden, (including its seasonal berries), where you may dine and relax on the patio, complete with barbecue grill, table, and chairs.
My home is located in a well-maintained, quiet, and friendly residential neighborhood in northwest Corvallis a little over a mile from the OSU campus. A city bus stop is one block away. Ample on-street parking is available. There are many bike paths throughout the area, as well.
This is a wonderful property with room to spread out as a solo traveler or as a family or group. It doesn't feel cramped and has lots of room for everyone to do activities together or on their own. There is lots of light and a patio and garden area available for dining and relaxing. We truly want our guests to enjoy their stay.
We hope to make guests feel the comforts of home, away from home. We try to design and keep it as we would like a rental to be when we travel and are in our guests' shoes. We pay attention to detail in all aspects of the unit, such as complimentary organic coffee, quality beds and bedding, and ensuring everything is exceptionally clean. We use natural, non-toxic cleaning products and laundry detergents and a Miele vacuum with a HEPA filter.
The upper floor is owner occupied with a separate street entrance. There is an elderly dog on the upper floor. The host is available to provide hiking, biking, dining, and park suggestions. Please feel free to communicate your needs by phone, e-mail, or text.
There is a strict no smoking and no chewing tobacco or vaping policy that applies both inside and outside on the property. No pets, please. There is a shoe rack provided at the entrance for guests to remove shoes prior to coming indoors, as there are no shoes allowed inside. Thank you in advance!
