Location
Glyfada is a suburb of Athens, situated on the south coast of Attica. The area stretches from the foot of the Hymettus mountain to the Saronic Gulf. This fashion-conscious suburb is known for its vibrant atmosphere, lively entertainment, upmarket cafés, well-known restaurants, boutiques, cosmopolitan summer clubs and of course the beach.
See & Do in Glyfada
When visiting Glyfada don’t miss the two marinas which host a number of yachts and where you can do a variety of water sports and other athletic activities.
The Sea Turtle Protection Society Archelon is a great favorite with kids, who will love being around with the turtles who are being rescued and taken care of. The beach at Asteras Glyfadas is one of the most beautiful, with clear waters and golden sand. The renowned Glyfada Course is the oldest golf course in Greece which attracts many visitors who appreciate the excellent facilities and location.
Our studio is conveniently located next to a supermarket, a bakery and a pharmacy.
A traditional outdoor summer cinema is just on the next corner! A brand new public outdoor playground, 10 min walk from our building, has been recently inaugurated with the most modern playground equipment and a spacious lawn area for playtime. In addition, a 3 min walk away, you can find a public square with free outdoor basketball court, fitness and playground equipment.
Transportation
Public transportation is conveniently located next to the building (2 minutes walk) and with a short ride will take you to Glyfada center or to the ELLINIKO METRO station.
You can get to the historic center of Athens (the Acropolis, Plaka, the National Archeological Museum etc) by metro within 14 min.
From the bus stop next to the building you can catch any of the buses leading to the most beautiful beaches of Athens (Alimos, Glyfada, Voula). So, you can both enjoy your tour in the city center and bathe on a beach.
