Walk to the ski lifts, or to the movie theater just down the street. The Village's ice-skating rink is steps away, along with world-class shopping and dining. The nearby NPOA Recreation Center offers year-round swimming pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, and workout facilities (the guest passes provided in the condo allows you access to all of these amenities for just $2/day).

While you're surrounded by amazing dining options, the condo has a nicely stocked kitchenette so you can prepare light meals and snacks. You'll find a coffeemaker, mini-fridge, and microwave, along with wineglasses and a corkscrew so you can linger over a long conversation and bottle of wine in the evening. Just across the street is a gourmet deli and taqueria, so you can easily grab a quick dinner to enjoy in the comfort of your condo after a long day's explorations.

There is one full bath as well, and a cable TV with DVD player. Enjoy the views of the slopes and mountains above right from your window, or step out onto your Village-view patio to soak up the sights along with the fresh mountain air.

Skiing couldn't be more convenient, and in the summer Northstar features downhill mountain biking from the gondola as well. Northstar's golf course uniquely offers a 'mountain nine' and a 'valley nine' to challenge your game. Truckee is just two miles away, and Kings Beach/Lake Tahoe are just six miles. The whole area is served by public buses that connect to Northstar less than a block from the condos. One private parking spot for the condo is in the closest lot at Northstar.

Treat yourself to a fabulous mountain vacation without breaking the bank! This cozy condo in the heart of Northstar is ready and waiting for you.

Convenient location and reasonable price, but parking rules could be better

My only major objection is that we were not allowed to remain in the unit’s designated parking space after the 11:00 am checkout time. So because we wanted to ski until the afternoon of checkout day, we were required to move the car to a paid parking spot.

Nice stay

We stayed for a week and enjoyed. Location is convenient. Room is not big, but has a simple kitchen and balcony. Room is clean. Nice nature trail nearby. There is a no smoke sign in the building. But several nights, there is smell of weed from balcony

Great stay

Property was great, our next door neighbors were mad complaining about the noise but it was pass 10am it’s a vocational place what do you expect, over all our stay was great, wished they were move detailed with the parking, parking was completely hard to find, got there pass midnight and absolutely took me about 45 min to find our parking space

Great location room marginal

The location is perfect but for the price you're better off staying somewhere else. Room was small and very outdated. It worked for us because we were on the slopes most of the time. Curtains broke, bed frame broken, room wasn't clean on time and we walked into a dirty room with dirty beds (they did reimburse the cleaning fee). I'd say rent a condo or another room from our experience the price is high for what it is.

Cozy, clean, and mostly convenient

Really great location in the village at Northstar and very walkable to the gondola, bars, restaurants, etc. This place was warm and comfortable.

Great location

Amazing location for skiing and the unit matched the photos / description. The heater was quite loud and turned on/off every couple of minutes making it difficult to sleep, definitely bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper!

Great location, had everything we needed!

I loved the location in the village. It had a parking spot that came with the unit, but didn't need to drive. Also could use the hot tubs at the Rec center. Beds were comfy, and kitchenette was all we needed.

Terrific Location

Great location between Lake Tahoe and Truckee and many golf courses in between. Precise instructions on where to park your car, but few on how to find the unit. It took me a half hour of wandering around to find the place. What check-in process? There is none. Also, no TV users instructions.

Fees should be disclosed and Parking is a partial problem

VRBO and Vacasa both charge fees on this property (reservation vs. management) need to disclose all the fees upfront. You don't see them all until checkout and it feels like a bait and switch. Property is in a good location. It's a simple room, but good for a ski weekend. Except for the parking situation I would recommend it. On the day you check out you must move your car (far away or pay for premium parking closer). This negates the advantage of being so close to the slopes - especially if you only stay for one night. Other properties in this building allow you check out in the morning and to park in the spot until 4pm so you can ski all day. This one does not. Vacasa said this is policy, but I did not experience this at other Timber Creek properties this season. This made the location less attractive.

Check in for a day

The place was functional, check in until 4 PM wasn't ideal but dropped our luggage without issues (that's the why of the 4 stars). Might be a little bit over price? I'd remove the kitchen or one bed, it's super crowed.

Great location

Right in the village, easy access to lifts/bars/restaurants. Room is small and dated, some wear and tear, definitely better places to stay in the area. Not bad though.

Great for skiing

This was great for a ski trip - very close to the ski slopes with parking nearby. It's exactly as it looks in the pictures. The mini-fridge, microwave and toaster are also great if you want to bring some simple breakfast with you. All in all, would be happy to rent this again for a ski trip.

Northstar

As advertised except parking spot is in construction zone and not usable. Fridge works, but seems a little ‘challenged’.

No frills room in the heart of the Village

Our family stayed here for a quick getaway to Northstar for skiing. The two queen beds were fine for our family. One annoyance was that we wanted to ski on our checkout date but needed to return the parking pass by 11am, requiring us to repark the car. The room was centrally located and included some dishes, small fridge and microwave so we could make a quick breakfast before heading to the slopes.

Perfect Location

it was right in the heart of NorthStar Village, and came with passes to the rec center so you could hot tub / work out too. Tahoe is a busy area so being able to walk to the lifts each day makes it super easy

Nice Village location

Dated interior but the location makes up for it. Conveniently located in the Village (one building away from ice skating rink and across from Copperlane marke). Unit is peaceful and quiet, with the action only steps away. Best of all and a pleasant surprise, the assigned parking space is directly across from the EV/Tesla chargers, which made it easy to monitor availability and quickly move between parking space and charging spots.
