Relaxing getaway

The house was large and clean. It was decorated really well - just the right Palm Springs mid-century vibe. The back yard was very spacious and beautifully landscaped. A very relaxing stay.

Laurel Retreat

We had a great time. The house was in the perfect location for getting downtown, getting to the Modernism events and walking to the nearby park. Huge yard, nice pool, spa and fire pit. Coffee by the pool in the morning looking at the mountains...nice. Thank you!

In Need of a Little TLC

As advertised, via photos and short narrative, this home did not live up to our expectations. It was a bit smaller than we thought, so thankfully our guests were minimal, but definitely not a home for 6 people. Bathrooms were quite small, with little to no counter tops or shelves for your supplies. Master shower was better than guest bath. Which had an old shower curtain with a bit of mold. The main floors were concrete, which was good for dogs, but could be acid washed to get rid of stains. Only one trash can worked with foot pedal, the other broken. Living room furniture most uncomfortable. We mo Ed the furniture around to start least make it seem cozier. Beds are good, but mattress covers were flimsy which caused sheets to slide around. The “beautiful” view described in ad was nice, if you sat in the far backyard and looked out over the fire pit. Pool bottom needs to be repainted, but was serviced well. Hot tub was broken for all but 6 days of our 29 day stay. Outside furniture showed many stains. Overall, it’s probably best to just be a 3-7 day rental and not a month. It was our first try, so live and learn. It was conveniently located and very quiet neighborhood. Be aware there are no screens on the main sliding glass doors. We ask for one in the master bedroom since there were no windows to open, and the owner did supply one very quickly,

Thanksgiving family get together

We came from Michigan, Illinois and New Mexico for a week in lovely Palm Springs. The midcentury home was both stylish and comfortable. The yard was gorgeous. We cooked a full course Thanksgiving dinner in the updated kitchen. All in all, we would book this property again.

Great Mountain View

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Laurel Retreat. The views of the mountains were beautiful, in the back yard. The entire backyard was a retreat! Even though the weather was extremely hot, the pool kept us cool! The house was very comfortable as well, but most of our time was spent outdoors. The property manager, Eric was very attentive and made sure everything was in order during our stay. Thank you, Eric. We will definitely be staying again. Thank you!

Stunning, mid-century, poolside retreat.

My husband and I spent a weekend at Laurel Retreat with two friends and loved it. Its the perfect place to hide away from the world and spend quality time relaxing, sun bathing or swimming with friends. The house is gorgeous and quintessentially Palm Springs mid-century. The three bedrooms have comfy beds and fluffy bedding, the bathrooms are modern and the showers have great water pressure, but the best part of the interior is the enormous, open, well decorated, kitchen/dining/living room space with new appliances and everything you'd need to cook, BBQ, or make cocktails to sip by the pool. The backyard is gigantic, with a well maintained grassy lawn, fire pit (!), hot tub, and a picture perfect pool. We'd definitely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone looking for a poolside retreat in Palm Springs.

Doesn't feel like a rental—fabulous yard and art!

I stayed a long weekend at Laurel retreat and found it spacious, clean, with really nice furnishings and art. Better than I have seen in other houses I rented in Palm Springs. The A/C was strong and the bed cozy - perfect for hot days and cool nights. We spent a lot of time around the kitchen island and cooked on the grill a couple nights. Downtown palm springs is a quick 5 minutes away where we had great Vietnamese food at Rooster and the Pig and a wonderful brunch at Farm. I will definitely be back. Thank You!
